When will it be my turn? ;)
Confidence is the key. It all starts with attitude.
Sorry, it won't let me embed it.
Believe in yourself. If you can improve your confidence, I guarantee things will get better. It sounds like she is interested in you.
Thank you, that video is extremely inspirational and it is true. I find my self care way too much what other people think about me, i always think if i do this what will they think if i look like this what will they think if i say this what will they think, I also over analyze things too much its very irritating.

Looking good sure does make you feel good, which in turn may boost your confidence. If you have issues with confidence, self-esteem, and shyness, change your image and work from there. Generally women like a clean cut, well dressed man, and then there's scruffy, casual dressed men who can pick up women with ease. Appearance will catch the eyes of women, but your confidence needs to be there as well.
JackThreads is a great clothing website for all of your wants/needs (huge deals).
Pants: Slim Fit (Dark wash, gray, light tan. I avoid white, black, and vibrant colors), Slim Khakis (I avoid cargo with all those obnoxious pockets everywhere), Track/Training Pants (I like my Nike's).
Shirts: Simplicity is usually key (imo) - Casual button-ups (some plaid works, but most are lumberjack-esque), Crew Neck sweaters, V-Neck sweaters (avoid deep V's), button-ups with a complimentary sweater over top (makes women's knees weak), thin zip-up hoodies, coats/jackets ((classy, but not overly done (pea/trench)).
Shoes: Boat shoes, sanuks (comfy, unique, some are casual, some are bummy), runners (you know not to wear them with certain clothes). Don't go with 'swag' type shoes (Jordan's, high tops, straps).
Since we're on the topic on fashion, i guess i'll post a photo of what i wore couple nights ago.

the style you guys have is far different from the style here. if youre a dude, its weird if youre not in a tee/hoodie, comfortable fit/baggy blue jeans, and jordan high tops. tbh ive never even heard of "clark's" before now. in the summer i basically wear cargo shorts, a tee, medium height nike socks and jordans. i guess it really is a regional thing

Do those guys in one direction dress like the normal Irish teen? I think they're irish? Maybe? Idk much about them, not really my style of music. They have a very distinct style, but people in the US don't dress like that typically. Curious if it's just an Irish thing
Style, for the most part, is dependent on where you live. It's funny how there's still people outside of middle school wearing Hollister, American Eagle, and high socks with Nike flops. To each his own, I guess?

i think its also a comfort thing. for me, dressing to look my best is exhausting and uncomfortable because usually thats jeans, slimmer shirt, etc. jeans and shirts that arent big on me are uncomfortable af. wearing basketball shorts, nike flops, and big shirts is so much easier.
i know i should dress to look my best all the time but it all comes back to confidence

Only the Niall guy is Irish, the rest are from the UK.
And yes pretty much, the richer people from Dublin would dress like that and then some.
But the welfare type people just wear tracksuits 24/7.
I dress like that when going out. Within reason. (fitted trousers, shirt and shoes)
Normal college day is usually just cotton bottoms, trainers and a hoodie.
But Ireland is weird, if you go 100 miles out of dublin you enter farmer country and they are 5-6 years behind city people SRS.

Just googled them, always assumed styles was Irish. Weird. That's strange though, some parts of the US are similar to that. Not any major cities but almost every state has a town like that.
If you dress like a one direction boy when ur ouy then Im sure you get girls. Girls go crazy over them
Lawl. Found this photo, thought i'd share with you guys. Go head and laugh. This was me in high school. I didn't normally dress like this, but believe it was spirit week and the theme was "hypebeast." Enjoy the baby face.

would probably work a lot better in America. Girls here that like them are generally 14 and below. (like most boy bands)
Most people dress like I do, even though I try to have my own style.
Irish girls are prude (the better looking ones). That's why I like English/American girls. Dem accents/10 hnnng.

I think they're from glorious England. A fair few of the indie and hipster types in Melbourne and Sydney tend to dress like that. Except the clothes they wear are a bit more vintage and look better overall.
As for what I think looks good, thus I wear...
Summer: sports shorts, slim fitting shirt, runners. Otherwise it's a singlet, boardies and thongs (aka sandals, jandals, flip flops).
Winter: Straight slim-fit jeans, muscle t and shoes similar to that 'London Base' pair but black. Also wear a leather jacket or this FCUK jacket that I prefer.
Dress to impress: The jeans or business pants, collared shirt and cologne - got to smell good!.
What's your all's opinions on dating in high school. I for one, see it is as useless.
I second this, I'm over the hype of a 'relationship' I don't even care about girls really to be completely honest. I just stick to my friends, and a friend with benefits. Otherwise high school is over in a flash.
So does anyone else think SOME hipster style clothing is actually really cool? I'd say more of the shirt styles, less than pants.. I can't stand the high rolled jeans, one roll is still cool though to me.

Most people will disagree with me, but one member on this forum opened my eyes to the fact that relationships are unnatural. I very much agree with this and I will go even further to call them useless. Then again I am a scientific/non religious, numbers type of person and I have very little emotions and career/goal oriented.

Will rep after R/C if I'm off spread
IMO, sex should only be for love. If you start going far with someone, chances are the relationship will become based around that. This doesn't happen all the time but staying celibate is the wiser choice IMO. That is putting my spiritual beliefs aside. Now, throw them back in... Wait until you are married. Some people will argue that it is part of a healthy relationship. There is some truth to that. But sex was meant to be a coming together as a couple, into one being. Instead of it being a man and a woman, they become one. I feel that if you decide to go far, you need to be absolutely sure you love this person.

You probably have Asperger's or are autistic then (srs). Relationships and emotional connections with others are incredibly important for a human society. We rely on these relationships to, among other things: Develop us as humans, decrease our stress, increase our joy, and much more.

I complete agree that they are "useless" and I don't have many emotions towards anything. It's not aspergers or autism, it's just reality
For me it comes down too this.
A real relationship is only needed when you want have kids.
So you give that kid some stable ground when its young.
But you shouldn't even consider having kids unless you have figured out who you are, and that you are 'alpha'
and have no hang ups, like worrying what people think of you or being a push over.
That's my view and its because i don't want to be responsible for ****ing up another humans life or how they see the world.
I know for me I used to be very quiet because when 'talking' to my dad he would just dominate the 'conversation'. So when I got to school for the first few years I was the quiet kid, I never practiced speaking my mind. I was always just talked to instead of talked with. (If that makes sense).
