I know it seems easier said then done, but your going to need to start somewhere and as RollTideNation has said you have to put yourself out there more & more until you feel comfortable in those situations which you are currently not comfortable with. Also try not to over-think this too much because you may just end up stressing yourself out which would be the last thing you want to happen. Again as the above statement has said, just relax and try to slowly work your way out your current dilemma.

Maybe both. If they think you are good looking maybe they want you to approach. I guess the only way to really know is too look right at them and flash a smile. Reaction should tell it all

I'd say try to read body language. Girls are very good at showing their interest in the form of movements, etc. If she's not facing you, she's probably not interested. If she has her arms crossed, it's not a very good sign. If she is relaxed and has her arms kinda spread out, that's good. If she's sort of leaning towards you, smiling, and facing you, those are good signs.

If they dont look you in the eye or face you though don't jump to the conclusion that she's not interested. Sometimes girls are just shy. If she's giving you sass or short answers, that's a sure sign. If a girl is being loud or laughing a lot while you're in hearing distance, she might be trying to get your attention. Ok. So today in the gym that i go to on the daily, theres this girl.. she seems like shes what 22... anyway. Shes cute, but idk whats going on if she thinks im cute of look hella ugly or osmething you knwo what i mean ahaha.
Anyway.... I can see here all the way across the gym peeking glances at me like all the time. Everytime i walk by her or osmething.. she starts walking real slow and then smiles at me.

but im 18. shes at least as old as my sister who is 22 now. lol. as i've said earlier in this thread.. i'm not into it for the phucky phucky. :/ Also... how do you guys get the butterflies out of your stomach and not go full retard?
edit: i know it's at me... because thers a dip station in the corner... and im doing dips... im there by myself.. shes at a machine working on her abductors.. thats like 10 ft away... she looks in the corner ALL the time lol...i think she thinks im a freak or something

Maybe after talking to each other you may be genuinely into each other for your personalities. Don't know what to say about the age difference, but for me the butterflies never go away :P I just deal with it and hope for the best.

Oops I forgot that you're 18 lol. Um, that might be a little old to ask out. It won't hurt anything to talk to her though. Hopefully princess can chime in. It would probably help to have an answer coming from a girls perspective. Actually, that helps with every single question asked haha

This might not be a bad idea now that I think about it... But try not to come off as being harsh. If a girl knew how I joked around, I would probably say "Well whoever taught you how to text back didn't do a very good job!" or something similar

Something I have failed to mention is that she's younger than me (1 year younger). So something like that may not go so well. The age difference may not be much but the level of maturity is. From what I see and have noticed from her texting me is that she's very polite and nice, which leads me to thinking that she's more mature than the rest of the girls I know in her grade. I am really careful with what I say because I don't want her to think I am some guy just looking to phuck, you know?

when you said shes polite when she texts you.. it seems like you might be friend zoned which is both a good and bad thing. idk. but if she is a year younger than you and shes polite in her texts, i think jokingly saying what i said before might help with easing that politness and help her get more comfy.. then again.. ive never really texted any girl. or for that matter actually talked face to face with one other than being forced to.
