Hello guys,
I come seeking advice, I've been a long time lurker to this thread and hope to make a contribution in just a few months. Ive been a big guy my whole life, looking to make some lifestyle changes. I started a routine I made about a year ago and fell off. My diet consisted of nothing more than chicken, turkey burger, brown rice, and broccoli. I'm looking for diet advice with more variety that will help me stick to it in the long run. Thanks for the input.

I have, in no way, made the transformations that some of the people in here have... im amazed at alot of them! BUT, i thought i would post up my four week progress. Trying to gain lean muscle and lose the fat.
For years, every summer i lose weight training for cricket. I get to about 88kg by the end of summer, and then pre season cricket rolls around, and I'm back in the mid 90kg range. This year, i decided, after years of being unhappy with how i looked, to do something about it. I eat right, train 5 days a week in the gym, and 3 big cardio sessions a week as well.
still got a long way to go, but here is my first four weeks

Thanks

I still eat all of these and I used to weigh almost 300lbs. Carbs are NOT the enemy! Well, maybe poptarts. God those things are the devil. lol

I can attest to this as well and agree. I used to be close to 320, just make sure that you are not going overboard with anything, and that what you are eating each meal is sound nutritionally (for example: Don't eat "White bread", choose a healthier wheat bread with some nutritional value). You will lose weight and fat with a calorie deficit if you stick to proper nutritional profiles. Consistency is the key to fat loss in my opinion.

Keep in mind with the height with johnnyj411 and bodeen2000 -- 5'6 and 5'7 -- their macros are NOT going to be appropriate for someone in my height range @ 6'2. Those extra 7-8" make a big difference.
Some inspirational sh!t in this thread. Helps to keep me grinding away. Will post pictures soon of my progress. Congrats to everyone on their hard work and health!!!
came in for some motivation, left happy.
