I usually don't do things like this, but I am extremely proud of what I have accomplished.
I still have a lot of work to do....
Keep going! Good job!
I don't know exactly how much bodyfat I had before, but I'm pretty sure it was +25%, been going to the gym for 11 months now, I'm down to 20% now and my goal is 12% in order to start bulking!.

I did read you text and was like ''only 5% loss, you could have done much better''. Then I clicked your picture, and it blew my mind. You made extreme progress. Well done and keep going.

These transformations are awesome and so inspiring!! I've just begun my journey to transforming from fat to fit, but I cannot wait until the day that I can post my progress pics and story! Keep up the good work peeps! And keep posting all this fantastic motivational material!
Hi guys ive started a diet and exercise 4 months ago and ive lost 23 kg obviously i lost alot of muscle, and i dont consider myself fit at all but im happier with my body a month ago i started going to the gym and ive seen changes. Now i just need to build muscle :)
Very inspirational thread. I hope to post my transformation here in a few months. I just joined a gym yesterday, I'm male 29 5'9" 220lbs. My main objective is to get STRONG and feel comfortable in my body. I had good muscle mass and decent definition until the last five years or so which have been rough. Waking up every day trying to make a change!
I can already tell this journey is going to last the rest of my life!

damn, incredible transformation, way to go man
Hi guys! I've been overweight my entire life. At my heaviest, I weighed 185 lbs and 2 years later I got down to 115 - lost 70lbs. I pretty much lost most of the weight doing cardio. However, I recently joined the gym trying to gain muscle.
Hey Forums! This is my transformation dating back to when I was 18 and over 210. Up until current date. Pics arnt in specific order but you'll see the progression

Thanks a lot! I have busted my ass day in & out. The one thing that irritates me is how women who wouldn't give me the time of day when i was fat, want to "touch my muscles". Squeeze my arms or feel my chest. The superficiality repulses me...
Something that people who have always been skinny will never understand, is that it is truly an entire lifestyle change. I look at everything in grams (carbs, protein, fat) & calories. I don't drink because it's empty carbs. No matter how much I enjoy the food, I will not eat at a restaurant where I can't get relatively close to the nutritional value in MyFitnessPal. I can't just stop at krispy creme on the way home & get a hot donut, because my body really doesn't burn energy the way a naturally thin person's does.
Ive spent the better part of a year on a miserable 1800 kcal/day limit, I've noticed my metabolism has slowed to compensate for it somewhat - I think this will help when I start a clean bulk this fall. My goal is too look like Brock Lesnar (as we have similar bone structures). I don't wanna be 260lbs+ like he is & i'm fine with being smaller, but I want to have this look.

Incredible transformation - well done!
Excited - I plan on posting on here for my birthday (September 25th). I started at ~330 lbs. I'm roughly at 240 now (stopped weighing myself when I started working on lifting seriously). Plan is to make it to the 1,000 lb club and post up my results on here!
You guys are extremely motivating, keep it coming!!

thanks man, it has been 18 months, but I took 6 months off and gained back a lot of weight in that time, so it was 12 months of dieting all together, started at 1650 for 6 month then moved up to 1750 and eventually 1900 and have been at that, think im finally done with my cut! time to bulk and eat lol, averaged about 1.25 pounds of fat loss a week
10 months of hard work and dedication...
Hey guys, just thought I'd put my 4 months of progress on here (give or take a few days)
I started my bulk about a month ago, so I'll get back to you with the bulk progress next spring (lol)
