I need to remind myself to keep coming back to this thread. Seeing the lifestyle and body transformations keep me motivated and inspire me to get my ass back in gear when I'm feeling lazy or complacent. I only hope I can acheive the type of progress in regards to BF% that some of you guys have worked hard for. :)
gREAT INSPIRATION, I AM CURRENTLY AROUND 180+ LOOKING TO GET TO WHER U ARE!!! aMAZING!
You can totally get there. Getting started and staying the course is really the most difficult part and that's all mental. What kind of training are you doing? I think at my absolute heaviest, I was 193lbs (YIKESSSSS!) It was at a doctor's office and I convinced myself the scale was THAT off. No, I was just that fat.
great job! are you in the military?
Thanks, and I am. How about yourself?

Some great results here, coming from a 'fat' background and working my way to fit, I can relate to both the desire and the pleasure from progress. Keep it up guys.
I will post my own progress as soon as I hit 50 posts and can post images.
Well up until recently it was all about weight loss. But now I've started weight training and really want to focus on slimming down and toning. But I'm still really learning how to tweak my diet to compliment my training. I'd like to lose a lot more body fat and then really tone up my arms and back.
205 lbs to 191(my goal is 165, June 1)
Last summer, even at 170 I had the same big love handles. My strenght at the gym is going up which is great. 20% deficit calories, losing 1-2 lbs/week which is also great(except for the first week, water weight I guess) the only place where i'm not seeing results is on my body...what the ****??? Same thing as last year...195 to 170 and the only place I wasn't seeing any results was on my body. Da fuk is wrong???

Hi!
I'm new to the forum. I'm really trying to push on and lose those final 30-40 or so pounds. I feel as if I'm over half way with my progress, but would appreciate any input in terms of bf%. I'm thinking I'm in the 20-25% category.
All I can say is it has been tough, but it's so inspiring to see others out there with similar stories. If I can help in anyway please do not hesitate to ask.
P.s. I have a bunch of photos showing monthly progress I would like to share, if anyone is interested.

Currently only 30 or so lbs away from my goal of 230! From there I'm going to see if I need to lose anymore or not. I think I'm at around 20-25% body fat right now so 230 would put me in a pretty good place.

At 6'3, I was weighing in around 350 and was going to be turning 21 in November. And it was pretty much all fat, I'd never really been muscular... had been leaner in my teens before high school ended, but not alot of muscle. So in the summer, decided it was time to change my life around. Alot of trial and error with diet and exercise... had a good friend who showed me how to lift, albeit more powerlifting as opposed to bodybuilding... but, in the end, any form of exercise helps, and educating yourself with knowledge from individuals you meet along the way, as well with online resources like bodybuilding.com, there is no reason why someone should feel like there isn't stuff out there to help them with what they want to achieve.
I still have a long way to go, but I'm happy with what I've achieved so far. Currently, between 235-242. It'll be two years of lifting weights, March 30th! Dat loose skin is a ma****a!

Dude I had the same issue! It's only these past 2 weeks that i've noticed a slight reduction in the fat stored there - i haven't done anything different I just persevered and kept doing what I was doing

Don't take this the wrong way but what's ur diet and workout like? 14 months is enough time to pack a little more on.
Progress none the less!

You've done a good job so far, but I think you're underestimating your fat by a rather significant amount. Also if you're still eating 12-1800 I would change that immediately.
