Solid. What was your cardio like during your big time weight loss?
I ran after every workout, just kept bumping up the distance when it got to easy and got up to 4 miles. I still do cardio after every workout but I do an incline walk for about 35-40 mins and burn 500 cals according to the treadmill, I also have a cardio day where I run 4 miles go on the treadmill for a bit and then get on the bike.
Working hard in the gym(and everything I do) was a mentality I got from football so it's more trying not to burn myself out. I had to push myself to compete at the same level as a lot of other guys since I'm only 5'6" and was playing O-Line. I played my entire senior year on a severely sprained ankle and still made Hon. Ment. for states and I was half a foot shorter than any other lineman on that list.

Been a long time lurker here and finally decided to stop eating absolute crap when I kept getting chest pain every time I downed a burger and fries. I used to be 145 and fit back in 2009. Things kind of went downhill after I got out of the Army and over the past couple years I ballooned up to my highest weight yet (182lbs). On December 19 I just woke up and started doing P90 (Yeah, not P90X, P90) and haven't stopped working out since. Finished P90 a couple of weeks ago and now I'm back to lifting. I'm amazed at how out of shape I MADE myself. Now I'm eating clean, lifting, and back to doing 100 push ups. Now I just want to cut down a bit more and maybe get down to 155 depending on how much muscle I put on.
Now when I tell someone how to diet and exercise I can at least somewhat look like I know what I'm talking about!
182 to 162... May not be as much as some of the others here but I'm proud of myself. I can finally pick up my girlfriend.
*Not sure if my pic shows up, but I've uploaded all of my current pics to my BodySpace

Edit: I forgot to tell you great job on the weight loss. 22 pounds in that amount of time is awesome.

Youre right, could take weeks to read through that whole sight. Try this link, he gives some example diets based on when u train/fast, and the key points of the whole plan. Basically you fast 16 hours and have an 8 hour window to fit in all ur macros. took me a few days to get used to the fasting, from 8pm - 12pm. Diet is amazing bc im a fat kid at heart and spreading 2000 calories through 5 meals was killing me. now i have 2 1000 calorie meals a dayand am fine. also have gotten stronger through out the whole process while losing fat.

IF is fuarkin awesome, strength is goin up (albeit only a little, but on other cutting diets my strength usually goes to shyt after a while) and I'm losing fat. Only been on it for a week though, will keep going for another 11 to see a 3 month difference

New on here. Neglected to take before pictures out of shame, so the before pic I posted is the closest I have.
I regret not doing REAL before pics now, but this is my transformation from 320 lbs. in June 2011 to 202 lbs in the pic I took down there on March 12th 2012. I still got a long way to go and fat to lose but I am finally proud enough of the progress to post pics.
First Pic- June 2011 ~320 lbs.
Second Pic - March 12th 2012 - 202 lbs.

Hey. So yep this is my progression so far. At my largest I was 318 and currently I am at 212. My goal is to be in the low 190's <12%. I did a Vlcd for 2 months to really get it going then a moderate calorie deficit with 1 hour of resistance biking and 3 mile jog at night. I am 6'2" and I run 3 miles every night, A tip get a puppy, best thing I ever did, always wants to play very energetic so taking her for a run is two birds with 1 stone right :D While to go but figured I'd post how its been so far!
Some amazing transformation on here. I remember the old thread being my inspiration.

also what BF% do you think I am in the first and last pics?? I'm trying to get down to 10% so I still have quite a bit of work to do
-
Subscribing. Will post mine eventually (ignore my old stats under my name).

I started out at 226 pounds. I am currently at 136 pounds. I’m hoping another 15 – 20 pounds will take care of the lower belly and I can finally be done cutting for a while. It has taken around 15 months so far. I think I’m going to enjoy bulking so much more. Tip: If you aren’t accustomed to being outside without a shirt… take it slow. Any guesses as to my bodyfat percentage???

Before I started working out, I worked my way up to 285 in college with the drinking and all the food that comes with it. I, as some have stated, was way too ashamed and embarrassed to take a before picture of me at that weight, so unfortunately I don't have a proper one. A friend bought me a gym membership for a month so I could start working with him and worked on my diet with me, and I found myself down to 190. Which respectively, are the two pictures I posted.

Recently, i had to travel for a while and saw friends that I hadn't seen in years and sort of let myself go. I went back up to 205 and am currently working my way back down, re-working macros and whatnot, so far I'm at 198 but don't have a picture yet. Now, I am slightly bigger, but I've also put on more muscle since the last pic. I'll update again soon.
My goal is to reach 10% bodyfat.

This thread is pretty epic.. :) Congrats to everyone.

One thing I've noticed on most of the transformations is how much YOUNGER people look for losing the weight. Well done everyone, big inspiration!!

Been lifting and eating right for about a year here.
First pic was around the middle of March '11. Was at around 308 that day. Decided I was tired of being flabby and went out and got a gym membership to the local Anytime Fitness. Took me a few weeks to get into it but I got into the rhythm and love it now.
Second and third pics are today, 3-30-12. Weighed myself at 206 this morning.

Thinking about just hitting around 200. Then start lifting heavier and eating a bit more to gain some more muscle. I'm not too worried about a target weight, as even being this close to 200 is less than I've weighed since middle school. So i'm happy either way. Just want to be strong like ox!
