Good job. Did you mean February 2013 for the final date? It says 2012 but that would be <4 months between the start and finish point.

sorry my bad. yeah its supposed to be 2013. thanks.
From around June 2012 -> February 2013-
Sorry for the ****gy time editing in my last photo/poverty photoshop skills as a whole.
Still cutting, trying to get to a relatively low BF% (10%~) so that I actually feel like
I'm not fat, 'cause all this **** in my head is still messing with me, making me think I
at times look fat...
Such is the life of a former fatty.
EDIT: So far around 100kg (220lbs) -> 72.2kg (170lbs)
Awesome work everybody! It's official today I've hit 50lbs lost since last July 2012!!! Just need to drop another 15 or so lbs and I hope I'm 15% or under! I think this is where I'm going to have to push even harder to get there! 23% bf according to my scale I know it's not total correct but it shows progression!
What is all your views on firelean extreme and fat burners I'm thinking of given then a shot
Good job
3,5 months progress. still a long long way to go
Can anyone help me out with my body fat percentages? I can't find a scale that is reliable. My gym says I'm 11.3% and my home scale says I'm 20.5%. Here is a before and after photo...I'm on a 12 week plan right now and I'm in week 5. Estimations of both body fat percentages would be great. Thanks for your help.
This was after 8 weeks of eating right, 5 days a week in the gym, and basic supplements and vitamins. I'm proud of myself so far and this picture motivates me every day!

Bit bad to tell you from a side shot in a pic mate but the second pic i can give a rough estimate at about 15% bodyfat....
Don't hold me hostage or nuthin... just giving my estimate... if a seemingly slight show of abs was slightly visible i would of put you at 13.5-14% but i cant see in the pic bud....
Hope thats of help.
Be there soon enough though.
Man every transformation in this thread is inspiring. I am 5'8 and 24 (soon to be 25) years old. I am pretty much a newbie to everything and have started really reading into nutrition and weightlifting. I feel stupid posting my unimpressive before and after but I thought I would so I could get some info. The first is a while ago in April 2012, a little after my birthday, I was about 220-230lbs. The last one is about last week, I am about 190 there. I had started doing starting strength in about early February 2013 but this week I stopped due to lower back problems (probably because I have most likely have crappy form on the lifts.) Anyway, I would like to know, should I keep doing starting strength or should I do something else? I apologize for the newb question, and I have looked at a number of threads including the all pro's and I am still confused as to where I should start.
Great progress man! Keep it up! Check the nutrition section and make sure you are eating right. As long as your diet is on point, then I'd say keep lifting! Definately make sure you are lifting properly to avoid injury and give your back a break until it feels better. If its bad then talk to a doctor before you keep lifting. Good luck bud!
Definitely This ^^^^^
Keep your head up and push for your goal brah. Everybody has strengths in their own ways, and if you take the step to start, your already strong.
Haha, thanks guy's I appreciate it. This forum is a great help for nutrition and training. I decided that when my backs a bit better I'll go back to Starting Strength and put up a workout log to track my progress. I wish I had reps to give you guy's but I'm a newb here.
I have read many motivational stories here. Great job to everyone on your hard work. I began this journey along with my wife a little over a year ago. After many years of doing "fad" diets, we made the biggest and best investment. We join the gym together and made a commitment to lead a healthier life for ourselves and two daughters. Yesterday someone texted the picture on the left that was about 2 years ago weighing in at over 320 lbs. Yesterday I realized how far we have come on a journey that is far from over. The picture on the right was a few months ago around 278 lbs. We are excited to see what the year has to bring us and happy to have our 10 year old joining us at the gym now. She is in her second week and enjoying it. Keep up the hard work everyone!!!

Couple Pictures here... 104, and 194 was during college about 3-4 years ago when I eclipsed 200 lbs, didn't even realize at the time how badly I let myself go, I was lifting weights 4-5 days a week but i did no cardio, and my diet was atrocious between fried campus food, midnight munchies, and drinking almost on a nightly basis. ... the before are from about a year ago, I was at about 179, lifting and improving my diet. and the after pics are where I was a couple weeks ago and progressing since then, currently at 156 lbs., looking to get to 150 over the next month or two and have abs for the first time since early high school by summer time. Still alot of work to do but at this point it doesn't even feel like work anymore. I work out 5-6 days a week and still working on getting my diet fine tuned some more. Have to say it is crazy to think that I can lift more now at 156 lbs. then I could lift at 200+.
This thread turned into a "slightly chubby into slight built" thread.
This is my 14th month progress picture.

Slightly chubby? Yeah I wasn't as fat as many who have started on here but being unhealthy is unhealthy all the same.
Slightly fit? Fitter than some not as fit others but better than where I started.
