From sloppy to not so sloppy....:)
Low carb diet, heavy weights, sprinting...love being fit now.
The start of something big
As with many others I am a long time lurker who hopes to soon be another success story.
Working in medicine I felt like a hypocrite telling my patients to eat right and take care of themselves when I myself, for all intensive purposes, was a mess.
At my heaviest I was 260 lbs and for someone my height (just 5'6''), that was absolutely unacceptable.
As I start this journey, now approaching week 4, I've already lost 18 pounds from my starting weight of 230 lbs.
This thread is entirely and unequivocally my saving grace and my lifeline for information.
The countless success stories have managed to get me to a place where my transformation, is no longer a pipe dream but a conceivable reality.
I guess it's still early but I feel different this time, more knowledgeable and more motivated than ever. (though if I'm honest I am "lift-tarded")
I'll post about my successes. And will sure as h*ll turn to the community for more inspiration.
I know I have a long journey ahead of me, but I know I am also not alone.
