I'm not trying to be a douche, and I want to support everyone as much as I can. However, TunaFish93 was never fat. He should have posted here instead:

or here:

If you're not fat, you don't know what it's like going through life as a fat person. If they have their own body dysmorphia issues and think 18% bodyfat is fat, that's not my problem. I'm happy for TunaFish93 and his transformation (and the transformation of everyone else). But this thread was created to celebrate the hugely difficult task of transforming from Fat to Fit. I just don't want to take anything away from the individuals in this thread who deserve the massive recognition they do. This WHOLE FORUM is a great place for support and encouragement, and there are hundreds of threads and topics where individuals in various stages of body composition can go for their support.
I'm just asking people to choose the appropriate thread to share their accomplishments in. If you didn't start with more than 25% bodyfat, I'm sorry, you weren't "fat."
This. Good job on the results, definitely deserving of recognition and you should be happy, but this is the wrong thread. 1) you may not get the proper recognition and advice 2) some us may be discouraged because of the size of the mountain to climb compared to yours

you're right, I clicked the wrong topic. Sorry for the mistake. But thanks for the positive reactions!

Started cutting from May of last year til about Sept. I had lost around 60ish lbs. I started at around 237, Got down to 176. I'm currently on my first bulk to try to put on some clean size and cut again. Hopefully not for 16months lol.
Pictured. I'm actually about 217 on the left after losing 20lbs. On the right i'm 177ish.

Wow, great job! I'd guess bodyfat around 14%.
Just thought i'd post a transformation of a client of mine. Over the space of a year, went from a complete beginner struggling with 50 kg on the trap bar, to losing a significant amount of weight and deadlifting 140kg x 10.

Thank you, you too!
My 2 year transformation so far.
220 lbs to 138 lbs ... went on a month bulk and reached 147 lbs time to cut again

There are some amazing transformations here. Please stop saying "it's not very good, but here's my transformation...." Or "nothing special, but here's my pics..." Or "here's mine if anyone cares..."
You either:
1. Genuinely have low self-esteem (NOT necessary you did great!)
2. Trying to be humble or fish for more compliments, like when girls past how they are "soooo ugly." (Again, not necessary. Your transformation speaks for itself and people do care).
Thank you to everyone who has shared and inspired thousands.
248-215lbs 7 1/2 Months
BF = 16% In the pic siting at 211 right now.
Here's my transformation! I used a variety of methods but all revolved around one common factor - a calorie deficit.
This is me at my peak

Lots of respect! dropping fat before gaining mass is always the best thing to do imo. You're gonna look even better at around 11%!

Good grief girl- good job! I love looking through all of these transformations, but it's always nice to run across a fellow woman to compare notes with. I'm still a "during" picture, but at least I'm on the road. You look great!
