that is such a good story. I really can't pick "one part" that I liked the best. But if you were to hold a gun to my head, I would go with the part with the pictures. I just got off the phone with an armored truck company. They will be arriving in the morning to pick up my back up disk, which I just saved your story on to. There probably won't be much traffic, because I forwarded the police your story, and they agreed to escort the armored truck to its destination. At first the police chief didn't want to help, but then I guided his attention to the incredible pictures that you embedded along with your story. I mean, the story was good enough. But as soon as I saw the pictures that went along with it, I called my grandmother, who is blind and has Alzheimer’s disease to tell her. As far as her doctors in the nursing home are concerned, she is cured of all her ailments now that she heard your cool story. She is actually preparing to run the Boston marathon this year now. Thank you
update on my side of things and a few new pics. Hit my ideal weight i personally believe. ive found with the way i train and what i eat 82.5kg i look my best. i hit 78kg and looked unwell and at 85kg too blown up. Well that me done and craving cream cakes badly. Is anybody like me that regarrdless how much weight they have lost and what diets there on and how healthy they eat, that they cant shift that damn sweet tooth! my inner obese self is released when thinking about cakes, sweets etc. Brother got me waffle iron for xmas....great
they say that this is because your carbs intake are higher than protein and that what causes that sweetness craving
based on ur metabolism type, you sound like a Protein type, meaning your protein gotta be higher than your carb intake when eating
like in a meal, ur protein has to be much higher and carbs lower then the sweet cravings will go away and your body will adjust
lots of carbs that we think of are broken down into sugar really fast and that's when sugar spikes occur and cravings
i would take a metabolism type test online and see if your protein type, carb type, or both type

Long time lurker here. I started my transformation last April doing the P90X program. I have continued with it until this day. Been fat my entire life and was 325 lbs. when I decided to make a change. No bad health issues, I just decided it was time to make a change to be around a little longer. As of today I'm 208 lbs. and going for more. My original goal was to get under 300 lbs., but now I'm almost addicted to working out. I feel great and the reactions I get from people that have known me since I was young is crazy. This is the lightest I've been since I was 13 years old. I'll be 28 next week. The best part is I work for Whole Foods and we get higher discounts based on how healthy we are when it comes time for yearly health screenings. Last year I was in the morbidly obese and high risk category for everything. This year I made gold and was only .7 away from achieving the highest platinum category due to my height to waist ratio. I still have a long way to go and working on getting better every day. Pictures go from my heaviest around 330 to the last picture on May 1st where I weighed in at 210.

**** makes alot of sense man. last time i cut my carb intake was much higher and i used to get crazy craving's that had me up at like 3am contemplating weather or not to drive to a 24 hour shop to get some chocolate or some****...this time round im doing low carb high protein and i honestly can not believe how im not getting crazy cravings i feel hungry but it just feels soooo much easier to controll im loving it so far.
Thanks for all the kind words. I know this topic has been and will continue to be motivation for me. I just hope to give some back when I can.
Hi guys here is my transformation, I followed Kris Gethin's 12 weeks daily trainer and I dropped 29.5lbs, from 192.3lbs to 162.8lbs
Before I started the transformation, I partied and drank on a weekly basis about 2-3 times a week. But those dark days are over.
What do you guys think about my progress?

My pictures aren't as good as most that I have seen on here. But Im still a work in progress.. I tried losing weight once before but I fell off the wagon. When my wife and I decided to get divorced I used that as motivation..
My start weight was 351 back in FEB of this year, I am now down to 309 as of today. I would like to get down to 265.
I started out with p90x and it was nice, but recently I joined a gym and now I cant get enough of it..
First two pics are before pics at 351, last two pics are down to 309
Good job everyone!
First picture is 260 lbs and second pictures is 220 lbs. I am hoping by the end of June I can at least see my abs.
