26 lbs gone
I competed in 2009 - I lost about 30 lbs and hit the stage and won 2nd in my class. I went from 155 lbs to 125 lbs on stage.
Afterwards, I gained all the weight back plus an extra 17 pounds, bringing me to 172 lbs.
I stayed this weight for two years, And I couldn't find the motivation to lose it. I was very depressed and drinking alot, missing my very fit body....
In November 2011 I finally decided to take control of my life again and started prep for a show to take place on May 19th, 2012.
I have lost 26 lbs and I have 9 weeks to go until show date. I am making a promise to myself to KEEP this body forever and never ever let myself gain this weight back. I am making a promise to control my eating habits after this show and keep this a lifestyle.
Anything is possible!!!! Keep working hard everyone :)
Awesome transformation man! Truly inspirational! Workout routine, supplements?
Cheers! Workout routine is basic 4 split: Chest/shoulders, Legs, Back and a "easy" day for arms, abs and extra calves. No cardio at all. Supplements are regular whey protein powder, 10g EAA powder before/after workouts, caffeine pills when the extra oomphf is needed and fish oil tablets.

Awesome progress, I lost over 30 lbs awhile back and gained it all back too. I got deployed and now I'm getting rid of it again and keeping it off this time. 18 lbs gone so far. Hope the best for you with your regained motivation.

incredible work guys, such a inspiration to see. Can't wait until I can start posting my transformation pictures
First time posting. Its great to see how everyone has completly changed! I feel that I should share my own pictures, hopefully it will motivate aswell. Im swedish so please excuse any language faults.
My background is pretty stereotypical. I was always the fat kid in class, got chosen last in PE and such. Was depressed most of my younger years and once World of Warcraft hit the scene I became a recluse and my weight skyrocketed. Was pretty much like this untill I turned 19. Met a girl that showed interrest even though I was at a obese 326lbs at 6". After that relationship crashed and burned I decided to drop the weight, I was sick and tired of being big and short of breath from pretty much standing up.(Pic: Lych1)
At the start I didnt go to the gym. It took a couple of months to drop down to 292lbs thrue just eating less. It was at this time I first took a step into the gym.(Pic: Lych2). Had no bloody clue what I was doing but I kept at it, the worst was that I joined up in december '09 so I was treated like a new year fat guy for a long time into the new year.
Been a long ride since then and Im currently at 190 lbs. Writing down how I lost it all and what training schedule Ive been doing would take ages since its changed alot over the years. The most important thing is discipline and consistency.
Currently my goal is to compete in Classic Bodybuilding once my skin sorts out. Its a struggle to decide to cut, recomp or slow bulk in order to give it the best chance to taught up. If I bounce around abit the abs are very visable, sadly not when I stand around regularly.
Ill reply to any questions. In the meantime, go hard and reach your goals!
WOW man huge difference! congrats and keep it up! :D

This is the most inspirational thread I have ever read.

You can really see the difference in your face and chin. I'm not saying there isn't a noticable difference otherwise, but thats all you can really see in your pics. It's easy to tell you had a good cut going since January, and by the pics, your arms do show that you were working out before you "got serious" So I wouldn't write off the last 2 years of on and off training as a waste. To be honest, I'd be proud of everything you've accomplished, now and before. It's a process. People don't juststart working out and get in shape, it's more often a series of attempts that finally lead into success. The past two years for you were steps in the right direction. The committment it takes to drop almost 20 kilos in 3 months is great. Think of the past two years as a warm up/training for the big fight bud, keep pushing yourself, you'rer on track. Push yourself and be proud doing it.

I cant post pics since I don't have 50 posts but I have a before and current pic (from about a month ago) on my profile and I plan on adding a pic every 2 months until I get to about 190 at about 8% body fat. Went from 225 fatass to 180 where I'm at now. Diets on point at around 2200 calories with carb restricting unless post workout (not keto) and lifting hard and heavy 5 days a week with plenty of whey and casein. Also taking fish oil, opti-men vitamins and jacked pre-workout. My routine is 4 day splits and not doing really any cardio but will start next month with the HIIT just to lean up for summer. Could someone tell me where my body fat % is according to most recent pic? Also how long at this pace until I should achieve my goal?

here is my transformation from FAT and FIT. This compares February 2011 (175-180lbs) and February 2012 (145-150lbs)

Also, here is a picture of a few days ago. Sitting at 150lbs and around 11% bf (just guessing not 100%)

It wasn't fast, took about two years, it's funny how few pictures I had back then. I just thought I didn't care, but I really just didn't want to be in pictures =/
