Thank you very much! You're not the first person to notice how much my face changed haha. I've been told I looked 40 years old in my "before" pictures. Honestly, what motivated me was a year consisting of several surgeries and literally hundreds of doctor appointments largely because of how overweight I was. However, I also did it because I had to prove to myself that I could. I hated myself for letting my weight get so out of control and would be damned if I didn't fix it. Small world lol. I am very glad to hear that I have been a motivator for you, seriously, comments like that make my day because I distinctly remember looking through this thread years ago thinking how awesome it would be to make a large enough body transformation to motivate others. I don't remember an exact weight in which they got drastically smaller; more or less they steadily shrunk as I lost more and more weight. I know how much stubborn body fat sucks, I still have some in my lower back and lower stomach; loose skin even. However, I have found the more I lift and go through cut/bulk cycles that the stubborn fat/loose skin becomes less and less. The way I see it, my skin didn't stretch out randomly one night nor did the fat just appear out of thin air. Likewise, the stubborn body fat and loose skin will not disappear in a matter of days; I've just gotta keep at it and give it time.
If either of you or anyone else has more specific questions for me, do not hesitate to ask. Thanks again!
On a different note... I noticed there is a random picture of some women on my post above with my progress pictures lol. I have not freaking idea where that came from haha and now I can't edit it and get rid of it. Looks like I won't be usying TinyPic anymore for my image hosting lol.

I don't like running, per se, but I took a couple opportunities to run up the side of the mountain on a hike. Not so much endurance stuff, but high intensity for shorter durations with short rests in between.
Mainly, I've just been finding my limit consistently and the limit has consistently increased. When I say I did 20 minutes or 30 or 40 minutes of cardio, by the last minutes there was nothing left in me and several times I fell to the ground when done. I've just told myself that the people staring at me are doing so with envy.
One or two days I have had a deep... kind of agony. I've come to find out that this is what overtraining feels like. It's a deep routed sickness that hurts into the core of your bones. On those days I stayed in bed all day and slept 18+ hours, then I felt fantastic the next day. I also took those days to eat lots of sugar and protein. I should mention, even though I can't unequivocally tie it in, I have been eating 2gms of Vitamin C every day and I haven't gotten sick as far as a cold or flu. I've been concerned that my immune system would suffer with all this physical stress.
Mentally I've been able to not so much focus on what needs to be done, but not allow myself to think of anything other than doing what needs to be done. When negative thoughts like, "I can't go on" or any form of "I can't" have come up, I've pushed them out of my head and focused on what needed to be done. Now it's not an effort, I simply don't have negative thoughts about my workouts. I've reconditioned my brain but it took the better part of 5-6 weeks to do so. I can't remember exactly when.
So for the last 9 weeks I can safely say there hasn't been anything more that I could have done to reach my goal. I haven't missed a meal, I haven't had a cheat meal I shouldn't have had, I haven't missed a workout or even not put everything into a workout. I've done everything I could to get as far as I personally am capable. It's a good feeling.

Just prior to my 36th birthday, I decided it was time for some changes. It's funny how being out of shape can sneak up on you, even though it's a slow but obvious march downhill. It hit me out of the blue one morning how far I had let myself go and I was more than a little disappointed in myself.
Today my 37th is right around the corner, and it's been a great year. I was able to achieve the goals I set for myself a year ago and am setting new goals as I look to the future. Making a few changes to my nutrition and exercise plans as I shift my focus. If all goes well, I'll be posting again in a year with the same level of leanness, but sporting an extra 10lbs of lean mass. :)
[edit: The first pic is around 190 lbs, at what I estimate to be about 26% bf (according to electronic bioimpedance, but it seems about right.) The second pic is at 160 lbs. I'm estimating 10%, based on a self-performed 3 point skinfold. I'm the first to admit I'm no expert at doing those measurements. I think it's fairly close, maybe slightly higher.]

following iifym based eating plan tracking everything on my fitness pal
started weights last couple of month with cardio before tho i was just tracking cals advice is welcome
around 6 months in so far 6 more month to go on the cut!

I was working only cardio (running + aerobic ) and eating less
but now should i keep losing fat or start bulkin ? cuz my goal is to be big without fat like fitness models

I would say you are at a very good position to begin a nice slow lean bulk. I would say with your level of body fat, you should notice results pretty quickly, don't worry about gaining too much fat. I know it can be intimidating to intentionally putt on body fat when you've work so hard to lose it all, I went through the exactly same thing. But I do not regret a thing since I first began bulking, just make sure to eat at a slight surplus over maintenance, aim for 1-2lbs a month and start lifting.

For lean muscle, try taking minimal time between sets. I'm talking rest time that is only changing weights, and drinking water, then back to the next set. Try to incorporate drop sets and super sets into your regimen as well. I hope this helps!

Whats up guys and gals!! Thought I would post this in a effort to maybe motivate someone who thinks they cant. 2 years ago i was 370lbs, pre diabetic, borderline high blood pressure, tired, sore and depressed. I finally had my epiphany when the doctor asked if i wanted an insulin pump or vials in the fridge, thats when the excuses stopped and the hard work began. Since then, I've cleaned up my diet, started counting macros and started lifting heavy and I'm loving every minute of it. Please feel free to critique, I want to be down about another 30lbs before I'm happy.

Great job! You definitely should start lifting weights. You can do light weight and high reps. This will help develop lean muscles plus the more muscle you build the more fat you will burn. Don't worry about the scale though as muscle weighs more than fat. Just use the mirror to measure your results. Keep up the great work!
