Hey folks, still on the push to lose that last little bit, well lotta bit. Ill post some other pics in about 2.5 weeks. In any case I am having a huge physical dilemma. My belly, around my belly button, when not flexed, or sucked in, which we dont walk around just letting it hang out, no one does, but when it is not at all flexed, or sucked in, it is huge. To give you the raw numbers...
Le Gut= 46.25in 117cm
Le Waste, not much fat around the actual waste area = 41.00in 104cm
Around Le Pelvis= 43.00in 109cm
5.25in difference is crazy, I mean check out my profile I am not obese, per se', but this gut, jeebus, it keeps me up at night. Also Im a tad thinner now than my profile pics, have upped the cardio by another 15mins to a total of 45mins, have now gone from 5 days to 6 days, tightened up my diet, excluded all ETOH and fatty food, cut out the cheat meals, Ive never been a soda drinker and dont use raw sugar, I usually go with honey and its usually in oats and chia seed. Ive begun working out abs 3x/week. Everywhere else I am happy right now with my progress, but the gut, HOLY CHET. Its why I havent posted new pics, everything else is shrinking, well the fat is melting away I actually look massive, my BF is down 1.5-2pts but FACK the gut!
HELP!
THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Allan? It's you? (The Hangover) hahahahaa Nice evolution brah!!
Congratulations!
Thanks for all the motivation, guys! Your rock! You all are f''king awesome!!!
I swear that this year I'll post mine fotos here. Starting weight is about 140kgs (308lbs) and goal is 86.7kgs 191lbs. Hieght is 178cm (5'8'')
Nothing compared to some of you guys but here is about 190 to 140ish. Just shows that anyone can lose weight.
Great job, height?
this is a picture i use to show people, im not even at my biggest when my before picture was taken, i was 310 pounds...the current picture is a bit older now when i was 230, i now weight 210. i managed to lose 100 pounds in 2014 and am looking forward to whatever i can do in 2015
My weightloss/fitness journey. In high school I was a whopping 310lbs, in 2010 I lost some weight and in 2012 I gained most of it back (300 lb) I stopped taking pictures after that. My journey from the start was just for me so I have no exact "pre-fitness life" pictures but recently I started taking pictures again because I was happy with the way I looked again. Because of all my skin I generally avoid topless pictures because of skin embarassment but I do have a couple (the ones labeled img are in just underwear so click at own risk)
I didn't even know this before pic existed until someone sent it to me like 5ish years ago. It kickstarted my lifestyle change, I realized how deeply in denial I was. I just found it buried in a photo folder, my god what a journey it's been lol

really good fat loss!
am just asking here: but what happens with the loose skin? does it eventually 'shrink' (like an elastic band) or is surgery required to get rid of it?
hope am not insulting you, am just ignorant on the matter!

Not insulting at all!
For some people, depending on the amount of skin/speed of which they lost the weight it will shrink. I was informed by my doctor that because my weight loss was so fast(110lb in a year), that the chances of the skin retracting are very slim. I am scheduled to get it removed this summer(which will allow me to get a better bf% reading and have a better idea of where I am at and where I need to go).
Approaching the 5 months mark, most of them except the last few weeks being on a cut. Now I am in a slow muscle building phase which I intend to pursue for a few months, followed by another cut before the summer. Starting weight in the first pic was 87 kg and 27-ish bf%, now I am at 75,5 kg and about 15-16%.
Hey guys, just wanted to say keep up the good work. I am a personal trainer and started out overweight, checkout my before photos on my profile. Take it one day at a time and TRAIN LIKE A BEAST!!!!!!!
Amazing, and just 1year.
I agree....this is a badass transformation!!
June 2014 I was 251 lbs, at least 30% bf and extremely unhappy with the way I looked. I had no muscle mass and just felt like a waste of space.
As of last week, I was 190 lbs, somewhere in the mid to low 20's on bf, and feeling better but now pretty unhappy about how scrawny I look especially because of how tall I am (6'4"). I've gone from a 40 waist down to a 34/36 depending on the brand of pants. I'm mentally drained from my long cut so I'm on a lean bulk right now even though it may not be the best idea from the belly fat I'm still holding.
As you can see, I still have no lbm so I've got a long road to go, but everyone has to start somewhere and I have no plans on stopping.
This is phenomenal! I applaud you on your work ethic! Dont think of it as a long road...think of it as a lifestyle! This mental mindset will make the journey so much sweeter! You get one life...and it seems to me like you are busting your ass to make the best life you possibly can! Keep at it brother...you're making sick ass progress!
hey how do i post a picture in the space without it being an attachment?
Post.
Having decided I needed to shed some pounds I hit the gym running (so to speak ;) )
My aim was to reduce my body fat and weight.
I was 13st 2lb and 35.2% bodyfat. Im now 11st 12lb and 25.4% bodyfat.
I am now on the free weights and looking to gain muscle and keep aiming to get my bodyfat down. It's not been easy esp over christmas haha
Hey guys quick question: am I skinny fat?
Hey guys quick question: am I skinny fat?
Not really. Skinny fat when when people have zero muscle definition. You just need to cut a bit more.
Hey y'all..
I have been a long time lurker.. I cannot explain the gratitude I have for some of the stickies and information I have found on This site..
It really is all about willpower and staying motivated..
of the 7 months.. 6 were strict dedication with a 1 month break for the holidays (still eating right)...
That being said... after college the weight just started adding on... I was 160 lbs.. skinnyfat after college.. but your average overweight individual...
Like most us that have posted on this thread.. I avoided taking pictures at all costs..
But, I had to renew my passport last summer June 2014 and was forced to take a picture.. I knew I was overweight.. but I didn't know how much it had
affected my appearance.. I looked entirely different from the person I was at 18..
at that point.. I was 220 lbs.. unhappy and just always tired... the same routine..
Fast food breakfast/Office/Fast Food Lunch/Fast Food dinner..
Eating/drinking insane (and I mean insane) amounts of processed sugars...
as far as dieting.. I simply cut all sugars from my diet.. and gradually decrease from 2000 calories to 1750 calories over the months..
Tracking all I ate on MyFitnessPal... I allow myself 1 cheat meal every week.. Thursday...
I have never really had much LBM and I really wanted to cut enough fat to where I would be comfortable with lifting..
I did Mainly High Intensity Cardio.. I hated it and still hate it... 1 hour 5 days a week..
Perhaps that was a wrong decision.. but I am happy with losing such a big percentage of body fat...
I took a break from Thanksgiving until a week after New Years and I managed to maintain my weight, which is awesome..
but lately I have lost some motivation.. I knew the road would be long.. but perhaps it is because of my absence from the gym...
I still feel I need to learn about proper lifting but I am sure the stickies will guide me to a good routine.
If possible could someone give me a bf% estimate? I'd really appreciate!
Also.. I am ready to begin lifting? I still have visible body fat in my chest/lower belly area It bothers me...
but I guess it doesn't really matter since I really have no Muscle mass...
Sorry for the long story..
I just wanted to share and hopefully motivate someone as I was motivated last year.

Body fat is probably around 22-25%. You lost that much weight without beginning to lift? Haha my friend did the same thing and it literally made him re-gain alot of the weight he lost. I would start lifting and maintaining a healthy diet that goes well with the physique you aim to get

Awesome work! She does look like a babe now :)
Thanks for the estimate! Yeah.. I lost all that weight just by not eating or drinking processed sugars, calorie counting, and of course cardio... It will be a pain to gain some BF back.. but I think it was the best decision for my joints and sanity to cut before lifting.. I am researching a few diets and plan to start a lifting program this coming Monday.

My reccomendation to you would be to start packing some muscle weight (eating right (make sure you're getting your carbs/protein) ) once you hit the high teens/low 20's for that fat that would normally hang to start a lean mass process. But that's just me. It's been working for me and I'm sure it would work for you if you intend on keeping lean mass instead of losing all the fat away which would be burning alot of your muscle mass.

The most important thing any of us fatties can do is lift. It maintains lean body mass, which a caloric deficit will eat away at. Also, when you're overweight and a beginner, your ability to put on muscle is bettered only by steroids. I went from 135 lb bench to 225 lb bench in about 3 months, because I started lifting when I was 420 lbs. Also, I've had my resting metabolic rate ratio measured on a calorimeter, and my metabolism has gone up as I've lost weight. Most people experience a drop in metabolism.
since it won't let me post a photo I will give measurements. you can view my before and after photos on my profile. here are my current and old measurements
Height 5'8.5"
Neck 15"
Bicep 18" (gained 1" since Jan 2014)
Forearm 12.5"
Waist 39" (lost 5.5" since Jan 2014)
Hips 54" (gained 1" since Jan 2014)
Thighs 36" (gained 5" since Jan 2014)
Calves 20.5" (gained .5" since Sep 2014)
Weight 288 lbs (gained 32 lbs since Jan 2014)
Here's a combo photo of mine. This picture is nearly a year old. Over about 8 months, I lost 40 pounds. 20 Over summer, roughly 10 from September to December, maintained for about a month, then did one final cut of 10 pounds from February to March. It was a long journey learning about dieting, etc, but I'm still learning every day. I've been working on making lean gains for about 5-6 months and have gained about 12 pounds so far. You guys are all a huge inspiration to my weightloss and improved health life!

Thanks man! It was quite a bit of exercise and research, but dominantly diet! Get your lean protein in, drink tons of water, eat your veggies, and make it a lifestyle rather than assignment! That's my advice.
First pic was first year of training. diet was ****. 2nd year cleaned up my diet which was the best conscious decision I made
holyyy ****tt ! good job guyss

Wow nice! what was ur diet? and how often were u lifting per week?
Thanks a lot :-) ,
I have no particular diet I try to eat healthy with one or two cheating meal per week and a protein shaker every day...
For the training I try to go at gym four or five days a week usually for 1 hour or a little more and train one different muscle group daily
The fact is I doesn't really follow a program otherwise in 2 years result could have been much better I guess
PS: sorry for my English I'm french

Hey All,
I'm going to repost more comparison shots of my 9 year transformation from 285+lbs at 35% body fat to 175 lbs at 9% body fat.
I recently went through some medical problems that put me out of the gym for 4 months, so I'm also reposting these photos to gain motivation to go back to the gym :)
Wish me luck on my journey to hitting that 6% body fat. That's when I'll post my collage of shirtless pictures.
