Lots of fantastic transformations in this thread.
Attached is my transformation.
The first one is just after thanksgiving 2011. My girlfriend took a video of me in my drunken stupor. When I sobered up and seen the video, I was sickened by what I seen. Here is a still shot from the video. (230lbs)
The second one is from just a couple days ago. (171lbs)
Keep working hard guys and gals. Determination is one hell of a drug.
Props to those that have embraced the suck and manned up!

I am a newbz here, and this is my first post. I was once hardcore into lifting and fitness, then life got the best of me and I turned to alcohol. That turned me into a 200 lb. blob. I then slimmed down to 145 lbs. using a strict diet and loads of cardio. For the past year I have been bulking, and am now up to about 160 lbs. and roughly 10% BF. No updated pics yet, the latest is from when I first lost my weight. Enjoy :)

The psychology behind allowing oneself to be out of shape is usually much deeper than most think. Moreover, the willpower/diligence required to 'man up' and get out of the rut is respectable to say the least.

I just cut out pop. Then I Got a gym membership, and I started playing basketball and running on the treadmill for exercise. I ran two miles everytime I went to the gym and tried to shoot around and play basketball for atleast 30 minutes.

Cut update, made a thread about it but figured I started in here so I'd update. Now down to ~190. Will be done in about 75 days. Still bummed about not doing proper before photos.

First off, great job bud!! My buddy has a very similar build to what you use to look like. He is stuck with loosing his "tire". Can you post or send me your routine and diet that I could give to him. You did such a great job man!! Any help would be much appreciated!!!
