**Transformations from FAT to FIT** Part 2

Tons of inspiration and motivation looking through these "Fat to Fit" threads! I'm 32lbs down... ~40 more to go! already seeing nice progress :)

I was 265lbs this past Christmas...

good work folks keep it up. the post in here definitely keep me on track.

if anyone can help or give some type of advice..are any of you using weight as the sole indicator to fatloss or body composition? maybe both?
the reason i ask is that i got all the way down to 199lbs a few weeks ago but im current at 206. my target goal is 190. i started at 260lbs august of 2011 and this about 206 right now. i don't know whether my weight gain is result of muscle or fat..sorry if this sounds stupid..lol.,
should i get my body fat checked?

i use the mirror as my indicator. if your lifting hard and exercising often, your going to gain muscle. use the mirror, take pics often, etc.

no doubt. nice transformation btw.
yeah i stay in the mirror but sometimes i/we tend to bs ourselves. i have progress pics from the beginning to now. i'll be posting all pics come august since that'll mark my 1 year cut

Yeah I don't use the scale anymore. It's too variable. Use the mirror or clothing. As long as you're managing your food intake and lifting hard, you'll lose weight.

Could have been much further though. Wasted last summer/winter due to impropper cut/bulk. Was working my way through several forms of diet. With IF I finally found something that works like a charm.

Currently ramping into my 2nd cut, this one is going to be the big one, single digit bf this time if possible, hoping to be done for End of July.

Mainly compounds. Bent over rows (both barbell and one arm DB rows), hammer grip pull ups (weighted; most I've done is BW +50kg... Not bad considering couldnt even do 1 before!), V bar rows, cable rows.

Lower back I do deadlifts now and then, currently doing RDL's, rack pulls and good mornings.

to the guys who asked me about my workout routine and my diet ..
really simple plan .. high protein,low fat,moderate carbs ..

you can make your own diet by following this rule ..
for me ..

1. 7am large cup black coffee without sugar + 3 eggs wight in whole wheat tortilla bread ..

2. 9am 400ml low fat milk + 1 banana ..

3. 11am 1 scoop iso100 whey protein shake with low fat milk ..

4. 12pm before workout , another large black coffee .. caffeine highly effective when it comes to burn fat ..

5. 2pm after workout 1 scoop iso100 protein shake with water this time .

6. 2.30pm half chicken breast without the skin , grilled or cooked .. using olive oil + some time cooked potato or any source of carbs .. some time i skip the carbs in cardio days ..

--- my snake is always raw nuts + red or green tea ..

7. 7pm green salad with light tuna (water and salt) not oil ..

8. 9.30pm 1 scoop iso100 protein shake .. and the last week i started on casein before bedtime ..

....

my workout routine is very simple .. 6 constant days .. 3 cardio and another for strength ..

Friday : cardio ( HIIT ) 1 hour
Saturday : back and biceps
Sunday : cardio ( HIIT ) 1 hour
Monday : chest and triceps
Tuesday : cardio ( HIIT ) 1 hour
Wednesday : shoulders and traps ..
Thursday : rest .. sometimes i broke the rules and eat some junk food or any thing .. but i always work harder the next day ..

and another thing to know .. push ups and pull ups is like a snake for me .. i have the tools in my room .. so every time i cross the room i do some pull ups/push ups ..

now 4 months into my routine, starting to see results even more now, luckily so as summer is just around the corner!

current weight- 146 pounds

hopefully not long til i start seeing the abs going to up my cardio in the next couple of weeks and get stricter on the diet!

I'm very disappointment in myself for not keeping my diet in check and staying on top of my cardio like I should. To be honest I'm just lazy and can't stay on track as of late (these last 6 months). I NEVER miss a workout and always lifting really heavy but I always seem to make and or find an excuses to not do cardio or maintain a healthier diet. I really need a kick in the ass to get me back on track so I can get down to goal weight (240lbs and teen bf). Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated and most welcome. mate you're absolutely huge!! Looking great and fantastic work on the fat loss. I honestly couldn't see you being a small guy, it kinda suits you judging by the pics to be a massive bloke!

Firstly this thread is amazing. Given me and will continue to provide great motivation. Some amazing results on here that I aspire to.

Decided to change a few things in my life Sept 2011. Started eating less and running. This got the majority of weight off in 6 months. Then I picked up a couple of dumbells in the gym one day in February and started doing a 3 day split. Starting to put a bit of muscle on, but still a long ways to go. Ran the Illinois Half Marathon yesterday and clocked a time of 1hr 47mins!

Stats:

Before: Sept 2011 278lbs 6’3” BF% unknown
Current April 2012 225lbs 6’3” BF% approx 15%

I have cut my hair, was almost waist length in 2011, cut to mid back, cut again to right above shoulders. Its just past shoulders now, I like to keep it long, I think it looks better than when it was shorter, but I won't keep it longer than shoulder length I think.

So before picture was in december 2008, weighed around 175 and was really out of shape. This is after being obese and losing a bunch since I was 15.

The back picture is the most recent taken only a few days ago.

The one where I'm flexing the biceps is from summer of 2011.

The last one was 2 months ago. That last bit of fat/love handles are very persistent but I'll get rid of it.

went from around 290lbs to 155 lbs, up to around 190lbs now. took almost 4 years

I've been on the Keto diet for about 3 months.

Attached is my transformation.

The first one is just after thanksgiving 2011. My girlfriend took a video of me in my drunken stupor. When I sobered up and seen the video, I was sickened by what I seen. Here is a still shot from the video. (230lbs)

The second one is from just a couple days ago. (171lbs)

I am a newbz here, and this is my first post. I was once hardcore into lifting and fitness, then life got the best of me and I turned to alcohol. That turned me into a 200 lb. blob. I then slimmed down to 145 lbs. using a strict diet and loads of cardio. For the past year I have been bulking, and am now up to about 160 lbs. and roughly 10% BF. No updated pics yet, the latest is from when I first lost my weight. Enjoy :)
