I first weighed in at about 220lbs fat then dieted down to 170 by restricting my calories to under 1000 a day (such a bad idea if i could do it all again i would do it alot slower)
First picture is when i first started lifting at 169lbs and the second is at 200lbs. Time frame is about 20 months.

Depends on your body fat percentage. Regardless, that seems too quick. You can safely lose 2-3 pounds a week and you lost roughly 5 pounds a week. Hopefully you don't gain it back.

After 2 weeks of dieting (13 Jan) my bf% was 24.5 (at 195lbs).. at least according to one of those weighing machines sitting at Boots what tell you your height/weight/bmi and body fat.
Last time I used exactly the same machine on 8 Feb and my weight was 183 lbs and bf 20%. Interesting my weight was sitting at around 183 lbs for about a week.
Today 176 lbs as per my scale, so my bf% is probably about 18%.

Good job everyone. This thread is awesome and such a motivation booster.
My transformation is not as awesome as some of them in this thread. But is something, and I'm far from done with my body. I lost maybe 1 kilo or two, nothing special. But my fat is slowly turning into muscle, thats what's important.
First pic is from august 2012, second one is from today.

Diet was a deficit for first few months. Currently doing allpro beginners routine and at end of cycle 3. I am eating mostly near maintenance currently. No fancy foods just tracking cals in vs cals out to the best of my ability. I think consistancy is key for anyone! I always fill my macros with protein first. Then fats. and fill the rest with whatever. Haven't done cardio for about two months!

Whatup guys...just wanted to show where I'm at and get some opinions on starting a lean bulk.
Little background info, I was skinny fat pretty much my whole life and a soccer player who never lifted. Weighed around 150 before I really got into lifting w no muscle at all and a small frame. Was on and off for a few years and really got serious over the past 2 years.
Was bulking for a while and went from 150 to 175 or so with a pretty high bf% as I was trying to eat everything in sight. Got pretty happy w my strength and due to never seeing my abs before I wanted to cut.
Unfortunately I don't really have any before pix but here is where I'm at now.
24 years old about 5'10 and around 153 lbs now.

Today
Did have one weekend of out of town partying inbetween those pix that consisted of binge drinking and all greasy food. Gained 2 lbs that weekend so little setback but oh well.
Eating around 1600 extremely clean cals a day just short of 1g protein/lb and haven't been drinking or going out really at all. Thinking finish the month off then try to slowly put on lean muscle.
Been taking OxyElite and started APE a few weeks ago. Not sure if its muscle memory or what but my weights have started going up again which is nice. Ive been doing a 4 day split of shoulders, chest, back, arms and then I do cardio and legs on the inbetween days. I've been getting 6 days/week in for a few months and have never worked this hard before in the gym.
Pretty happy as I have retained a bit of my strength an have never been this toned before. It's definitely become a lifestyle and I can't wait to keep progressing.
Wondering what you think my bf% is and opinions on lean bulk in ~2-4 weeks

3 years...55 pounds dropped...figured out you could add muscle and lose fat simultaneously if you did it slow.
