He's got it easy. When I get my goal physique, I'm going to have to hire a professional landscaping crew to uncover it. Fairly certain I have some Peruvian ruins somewhere on my back.

Around a year and a half.
Nice results. I certainly don't see any flab or love handles on you but then again I've found that our own self can be our harshest critics. Care to share how you accomplished this because you did a great job.
Thanks! Honestly, getting fit is easy. Just gotta make it a lifestyle. If you can lift for 30 min a day 4-6 days a week and eat healthy 80% of the time, eventually you'll be in better shape than most of the population.
Now I'm lifting or doing cardio 6 days a week until I lose all the fat I want to, then I'm going to clean bulk to where I'd like to be. I think 185 lbs lean will be a good physique for me.
Good motivation for me on this thread.
Amazing stuff guys. Can someone tell me how to embed from my iphone? My profile pic is my pic that I wanted to post. But I'm not the most savvy from my cell :(
Great progress everyone. Very motivated
Still working on my midsection still have quite a bit of fat left in my stomach and chest but not bad now that I am on track 100%. Been hitting it hard about 3 months now and occasiaonally fall off track on the weekends but I keep fighting through!

You have big arms man!
My transformation took alot longer then i would have liked...would have been faster it I started to gym earlier but I focused on losing the weight first with help from weight watchers. Started at 240lbs..now a steady 160lbs. But now that I lost the weight for some reason I cant seem to bulk up...anyone else have that problem? or any recommendations on how to bulk up? I have read to eat alot of preotein, but I have been doing that for months and nothing...any supplement recommendations for bulking? I usually go to gym 4-5 times a week and I am taking Craze pre-workout and a whey protein shake after.
Good job!!!
a bit disappointed with my progress. fat is still there and the bulk from weights makes my body looks even more fatty. the weird thing is that i continue to loose body weight while bulking and according with some research about men's natural weight vs height i am already too close to get below the recommended thingy. but the fat is there again =/ i only notice a bit of progress when i look myself in the morning before i add water in my system. any other hour of the day i am still like ****.

Great Job!! Thats an incredible transformation!
Fifty-seven year old. Have been doing beginner level strength training for years. But, only after I starting paying attention to my diet, did I start seeing results.
I know I have a long ways to go.

I've been around 160-155 lbs for more than 9 months now, but I'm still losing fat! Went from 32" waist to 30.125" today, and still aiming for 29". I was 231.5 lbs when started in late November 2011. Try measuring as it can help you more with your progress.
The only supplement I use is the regular lipo-6, not x6 nor black, for energy mostly as I'm a very caffiene-sensetive person. 2 pills when I wake up only 3x a week. Most of my diet now is usually 1 liter of 3% whole milk and chicken breasts or lean meats as base diet, avoiding grains. I workout nearly fasted with only 1/2 liter milk and 7 dates for 1.5 hours lifting (upper or lower body). After the gym I go running for 4 km (2.5 miles) for 30-23 mins on interlock. Eating again after 6 hours of last time fed.
If you're a meat-eater then you don't need protien shakes. Read a lot about protein intake recommendation and seems that studies suggest between 0.55-0.76 per LBW with 0.82 being the upper limit.
HIIT runs don't do much for me to be honest, but after moderate-low intensity runs/jogs I feel fully exhausted. Usually between 7-9 km on soft beach sand if it's all about cardio. If you're stamina is good then try running/jogging after lifting to squeez all your energy.
I've used nitro-tech whey and cell-tech creatine before, and they just gave me fake pumps and bloated belly, so I really prefer slow but solid progress instead. Cardio after lifting is my main advice, but do whatever works for you as everybody is different.

Good post shanfari... I am all for the fact of using shakes as a last resort to up my macros. Supplimentation is such a well marketed substance that is not needed during the initial foundations of learning to correct ones nutrition.
This thread was the first i ever looked at on bb.com and using the tools provided e,g
-------------------->>> nutrition stickies.
-------------------->>> beginner workout programs.
A cheap set of digital scales and the (WILLPOWER) to overcome thus obstacles.. The road became a beautiful, clear breeze with only better things to come.
I for one will never look back and wish each and every one of you who post in here the best of luck with your dreams and goals ...
Just under halfway of cutting to my goal weight/body fat.
45 days upto now of clean eating and alot of running..
Gone from 188 lbs to 170

To be honest I don't know how heavy I was in that picture, probably around 200lbs. It was after 9 months of being on prednisolone (steroid medicine for crohn's disease, causes huge bloating and water retention) after coming off the medicine I shed weight rapidly and after some medical complications in summer 2012 I dropped to a skeleton-like 140lbs and have bulked to where I am now.
I guess you could say I've gone from fat to fit and also skinny to mass at the same time - I was fat and then two months later I was a skeleton :p
2yrs ago, the only way I thought I would have abs is if they were photoshopped onto me lol. I am very proud and thankful to have been given the knowledge and physical abilities to be able to make a change! Bodybuilding.com gave me so much information, motivation and access to great products so I wanted to say thanks to them. May 17, 2011 was the day that I told myself that I would get back in shape and not just give up after a month or two. Its been a long time coming, but here I am today as the new Ricky! Please friend me/follow me as I am just getting set up but I promise I will have some good material posted on my page.
249 to 220 in 11 weeks. Pics (other than my "Marshmellow" look in my profile to follow once I hit 190. "Nothing Can Stop Me Now"
