from 213 to 175.
38 pounds lost. My wife is much happier.......so in turn, I am much happier. :)
For some reason, this is one of my all-time favorite transformations.
Rep'd.
Just a general question, how quickly can body fat % be reduced? Say if I was on a cut, would it be realistic to expect to cut 0.5% per week if I was on a cut where I was losing about a pound a week?

Depends on size, weight, diet and composition. It is not as easy to drop from 8% to 7% as it is from 25% to 24%
awesome transformations guys!

I am not anywhere near the 8% type level. I am talking more about trying to drop from say 15%-16% to 11-12%.
I am 6ft 1 and 162 lbs right now.

have a look over at my bodyspace for some good foods to eat and my workout, May assist, may not.
Find your calorific level for your weight, age and size and eat 500 cal below maintenance for a few weeks and see if you lose around 2 lb per week. if not adjust slightly.
My loss is from nutrition and weights only. ZERO cardio.... Only because cardio is a swearword for me.
Ensure you get 1 gram of protein for every 1 pound of mass. so if you were 200 pound and 20% bodyfat then 160 pound of you is lean weight so 160 grams protien.
Eat complex carbs and try to avoid uncomplex carbs like sugars. Not saying avoid but moderation and keep to your macros.
Get good fats. Flax, almond-peanut oil. poly say mono fat.
get your fat and protien in to a level of say 40%-40%-20%
So get the 20% of carbs and stick with that...... It works. Its hard at first but once you get the jist of it and you do it for a few weeks you will see results and it will become part of your daily routine.

Nice to see why on earth you post a pic and put NO comment in whatsoever !!!!
Also hide your face from the first pic and then show it in the second!!!
Strange....
Good work though buddy.

Great work man, Keep it going!
This is my progress for a little over 4 months. I didn't get serious with my macros until about the last month. Loving every minute of this journey and still have a long way to go. I started at 274 and am down to 231 currently. Now to get rid of the alcohol and continue on to a healthier lifestyle!

You're body is smiling instead! Nice job you made here! Keep it clean, and you may not see your weight changing much next but photograph yourslef every week and you'll see that you're still kicking that yellow enemy out!
I've iced at 157-158 lbs since 5-7 months but my waist went from 31.75" to 30.75". So it gets tricky to keep motivation high as before.

good work brah !!! your results are awesome !
My transformation isn't insane like some of these amazing ones I'm seeing, but here's 4 weeks of eating clean and weight lifting.
I wasn't fat, just not toned. I'm looking to get really ripped! lol! yay!
But point is, 4 weeks can make a huuuuge different.
Wow, you started out looking great and made yourself even better. That's an awesome attitude to have, not being complacent when you're already in a good place!
Im not finished yet.. but I started in January and i have lost 28 lbs now. started at 180 and today i am 152. countless loss of inches. Its been amazing watching myself transform
This is my transformation from April 6, 2013 to now June 4, 2013
Not fat to fit, but fat to less fat (for now)
I track my runs with RunKeeper on my Nexus, last month I "ran" (jogged?) a total of 97 miles (mix of outdoors and treadmill), that's an average of over 3 miles every day, something I've never done before!
I run most weekdays and try to run for an hour/10k as I'm training for a charity 10k in July, once that's done I'll be changing my routine.
At the start of last year I weighed 284lbs (20st 4lbs, 128.8Kg), I'm currently at 225 (16st 1lb, 102Kg). Last year I lost 20lbs and decided to get serious about it 3 months ago.
what was your plan like to get this tranformation mate? All bulk or bulk and cut?
I went all bulk.. well.. I just ate whatever I felt like eating lol. :)
My metabolism looks extremely fast imo. I can eat whatever I want.
As for the workouts, 3x45minutes/week full body workout - Compound movements only.
