During High School I was able to drop down to 180 because I joined the basketball team and took it quite serious. I kept it off until my mid 20's when I had a drinking problem. Joined the gym and stopped drinking (not completely) last June and lost 28 pounds since and have gotten quite tone. Still not satisfied though!!
Congrats on the massive change bro
Not that you guys are not doing a fabulous job it is very motivating as Im just starting but is there a ladies one of these....I keep looking and ending up here! Don't all shout out once if there is ...I know you lot love to dig out the new people who may have missed a sticky! :-)
Finally getting around to posting some pictures and my story.
I am roughly 6' tall and 23 years old.
Always been a fairly big guy. Have worked out in the past before and had a good routine going, but I have never ever followed up with a proper diet. So this go around I wanted to see results that I have been dreaming of for years. Well after putting in a good amount of hard work and dedication, I am finally becoming a firm believer in "Hard work pays off" when it comes to my health.
I never did get around to getting pictures of what I was when I first started this go around. I was probably around 280lbs. Didn't think I would see such improvements this quickly so never did snap the pictures. Joined the gym in middle of January 2012. Kind of just dicked around for the first two weeks. Got serious with what I wanted and then finally had a goal to work towards to. Febuary 6th is the day that I started this adventure and I could not be happier in life right now going forward with this life style change.
I guess what kind of started all of this was a bet with a buddy. Since I am moving back to my Hometown he wanted to see me get down to 215 before I moved back. Moving end of April so if I continue my trend of 20lbs a month, I should be more than able to get down to 215 before end of April.
Cardio, cardio, cardio, and more cardio is all I have been doing. I haven't been lifting since Feb 6th. I have been doing push ups but that is about all. Once I am down to 215 I will be slowing down my cardio and start adding weights into my regiment. Trust me I can not wait till this day. Since I had such a short time frame to cut this amount of weight I didn't want any setbacks even if that did include gaining muscle mass.
Goals-
End of April- 215
By my Birthday (End of June)- 195
Ultimate Goal of 180-185 Lean and Jacked!!
Have 3 pounds left before my goal and I have about a week and a half to get there. So it feels good coasting in to this accomplishment and hopefully shattering it by a few pounds. Once end of April rolls around I'll post up that picture.
Feb 6, 2012 (Not Pictured)- 273lbs.
First picture
Feb 29, 2012- 252lbs. (Down 21lbs)
Second PIcture
March 31, 2012- 232lbs. (Down 41lbs.)

This is a continuation of a previous thread (see the first page for it). The previous one had 10,000 posts and there were lots of ladies who posted their transformations.
You may also want to browse the bodyspace section there are thousands of ladies who have posted pictures, logs, and a ton of info about their transformations.

Can you tell us what your diet and routine is please???
Can you tell us what your diet and routine is please???
When I first started out my diet consisted of
Breakfast:
Egg white omlet with fresh salsa
1-Banana
Blackberries and Raspberries
Lunch:
Chicken Salad wrap with low carb wrap and used only mustard and hot sauce for making chick salad
Dinner consisted pretty much the same as lunch usually.
That was pretty much my diet for the first two months.
My diet for the last three weeks has tested me but I am starting to enjoy it.
Breakfast I have a fruit salad. (Just about all the carbs I see for the day)
I consume about 2-3 of these meals below after Breakfast. All depends on what times I eat them. Usually do not eat anything after 7pm so if I can get three salads in before then I do but its hard doing so everyday.
Salad with Romaine, Spinach, Tomatoes, Avacodas, cilantro and sometimes onions and either one piece of chicken breast or a small steak no marinade or seasoning on either. No dressing but I do use hot sauce.
I will do protein shakes here and there but definitely not consistent with them. Will be more consistent with protein once I start lifting.
Routine--
First Month Went twice a day 4 days a week Friday-Sun rest days.
Morning Consisted of 30-45min on the Eliptical. Would get in 3-5 miles in.
Night around 8-10pm depending when I would get off work consisted of 30 min Elipitcal. Averaged 3 miles.
Second Month still going twice a day 4 days a week but only Friday as my rest day and would go once Sat & Sun.
Morning-Elipitcal 45-60 min. Averaged 6-8 miles.
Night- Same as morning.
Third Month
Morning- Elipitical 60 min 9-10 miles.
Night- Elipitical 60 min 9-10 miles.
Never been big on Soda so that wasnt hard for me to cut out. I mainly drink water but I have been drinking coffee and unsweetened tea lately as well.
Same with sweets as they aren't an issue to stay away from. I don't eat out anymore as well. Regardless if they have a healthy menu or not I just stay away from ordering something I shouldn't have right now. I do treat myself to Chipotle once a week though but since I've switched up my diet for this last month I only get Salad from there so its kind of pointless going there but it has helped me get through this.
Not sure what I am going to do as far as my diet is concerned once I do get past my 215 goal and start lifting. I am still wanting to lose a good amount of weight after that but yet I am ready to put on muscle.
Everyone in this thread has given me inspiration and I hope I can return the favor if not now, soon!!
man colomatt that is a rapid transformation, congrats. i started on february 15 (about a week after you) at 278 lbs (6'2 height) and am now at 243 lbs....i think you eat a little less than me (do you know how many calories a day you are eating?) but still a remarkable loss in such a short period of time.

I'm very disappointment in myself for not keeping my diet in check and staying on top of my cardio like I should. To be honest I'm just lazy and can't stay on track as of late (these last 6 months). I NEVER miss a workout and always lifting really heavy but I always seem to make and or find an excuses to not do cardio or maintain a healthier diet. I really need a kick in the ass to get me back on track so I can get down to goal weight (240lbs and teen bf). Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated and most welcome. I guess i'm just feeling sry for myself and making excuses as usual.

Congrats on your great progress so far, no reason to slow down now. You're pictures should be motivation enough for you. You're off to a great start so why not keep pushing until you are truly satisfied and meet the goals you have set for yourself. Negativity and doubt will do nothing to benefit you. Figure out what motivates you, and focus on it. Whether it be a woman in your life, kids, your own personal satisfaction, etc. As I'm sure you have read around, the ONLY workout you regret is the one you don't do. As far as diet it, that's just will power and discipline and solely up to you. No one can control you 24/7. Either you give into the urges and cravings or you don't. Same thing goes, focus on what motivates you and make your decisions. Get your mind right and bump the negativity.

Awesome transformation, congrats. Got the body to go with the smile.
Some amazing transformations on here. Really wanted something sugary today as I haven't had anything all week but coming to this thread makes me stay on track.
My current weight is 162lbs and hope to drop 132lbs.
I do cardio everyday for 45 minutes and usually burn 450-600 calories through this. Only started this a week ago though so its a long way to go!
