really good for 5 months!
What is your diet and workout? great progress!
Thanks! Well for the first couple of months, I was doing two a days with running just to get my body fat down.....then I started doing shortcut to shred...now for the past 3 weeks or so I have been following shortcut to size. been eating really clean...mostly fish, meats, high protein low carb (typical diet). I think the biggest thing for me was quitting booze and also watching my portion size with food. I feel great! Will post more pics soon.
Rick
I will submit my pictures as attachments.
Dear friends,
I am posting before and after pics. I am still working on my health and has a long way to go. I am 30 years old. I want advice from veterans in this forum regarding how to further improve my physique.
I will provide pictures of before and after. I was depressed. was able to pull myself together and followed a diet and exercised. No supplements. No personal trainers. (pics attached)
I wonder if you could give me advice regarding the next steps. My aim is not to be big but rather to have perfect symmetry of muscles in an Adonis like shape. I have no experience in bodybuilding. Genetically, i believe i am inclined to be obese.
I workout usually 80 minutes per day (and some months its limited to 60 minutes as i have a very demanding job). I do high intensity treadmill for 45 minutes (6 mphfor 30 seconds followed by 9.5 mph for 30 seconds and alternate that for 30 minutes, 10 minutes warm up before that at 5.5 mph and 5 minutes cool down after the 30 minutes HIIT).
I thereafter do push ups and pull ups and squats (free from additional weights).
I sincerely hope that you could guide me in the right way. Thank you so much.
Any/every advice/criticism from the veterans and friends here is really wanted/appreciated :)

Awesome! This thread is amazing, it always gives fuel and motivation :)
The left is exactly a year ago and the right is from yesterday. I was at 205 lbs and about 26 or 27% body fat. The right is 12 weeks and 12 pounds into my first bulk. I'll check in again in about four months once my cut is done, but I'm happy with how far I've come in only a year.

If you want that "Adonis" look, you'll need to pick up some weights. Go check out the workout forum - there's 3 or 4 beginner routines that are going to be great for you.
Really good progress! What was your diet like? And what is your fitness regime ?
current five month workout progress.
I'm on it. is there anyone in particular that you think is a best fit for me?! thanks a ton
I'm on it. is there anyone in particular that you think is a best fit for me?! thanks a ton
I would suggest stronglifts 5X5 cause its free and has a phone app!
Seriously most of the starter programs are very similar, I like stronglifts because you still do a lot of reps, just over more sets. They all include the major lifts (squat, bp, DL, MP, rows, and a few use powerclean). I would add chinups/pullups to the routine as well.

Here are my progress pics after completing 4 weeks of the #200ktransform @dymatize @bodybuildingcom Challenge.
My abs are coming in faster than I expected and I am very happy about that. I am being very particular in my nutrition in that I am only doing Protein, pre-workout and caffeine. Nothing else!
This is my progress exactly a year today.
Still currently on a cut which will end at the end of April.
first pic I was 188 lbs at roughly 26% body Fat.
today I am 166 lbs with roughly 14% body Fat. Now aiming for 10% and another 8lbs of lean muscle :)

Wadd up yall! Ive been steady going to the gym since October of 2014 I started at a hefty weight of 250-255 Pounds Ranging on the days and It was terrible, almost 40% bodyfat no muscle no confidence hated life and just ate ate and ate! Since October I have been on the hardest journey of my life and that is to get in shape and better my health for me and my future children. Today I am ranging around 218-222 Depending on the day but never over. That is almost 30 pounds in 4 months Which Is great! I have lifted since I started and put on tons of muscles I could barely do the bar on the chest rack, and dont even get me started on my arms. Any tips would be appreciated.
I Have 5 Meals a Day, I make sure that I dont go over 2000 calories a day
I have 2 Protein Shakes a Day One Mid Morning and Another After The Workout
Would love to lose more back fat! Below are my Progress Photos
Fantastic work.
Thanks Markalem, much appreciated mate.
Also from taking a look at your pics I would say you would be about 12%-13% BF which is a really good level to be at. Keep up the good work!!!

Nice work man, that lower back fat is a bitch to get rid of so kudos on that as well (I had the same problem, pics up next) - repped!
Ok my turn, this isn't as quick as everyone else and also not as much difference as I'm still nowhere near my goals but I had my fair share of slip ups over the last few years, mainly my impatient tendencies that caused me to listen to far to much Bro science and eat 4000-4500cals when I didn't need too and was already at like 32% BF so I just got really fat!
Anyway, comments appreciated...
This is really inspiring! I hope to lose about 5-8 more pounds, I'm currently 173 and I weighed as much as 207 lbs three years ago.
Started off fat as, then lost weight gradually over a few years by not snacking on junk and regular exercise (only cardio). Then thought I'm too skinny and still have a ton of fat/skin so started going to the gym to gain muscle. I was at 85kgs and on a semi bulk 4 months ago and now I've cut to 75kgs, have extra skin and stretch marks and still have a long way to go. Anyone know if there is a natural fix for this?
Cheers

Great transformation!
Just give the body some time to tighten up. Adding muscle will definitely help. How tall are you? you dont look 78kgs lol
nice bi peak dere do
Amazing work my friends.
I wish I could take my after pic already...I'm struggling to stick to a routine and stop binge eating

Thanks dude. I really hope it does tighten up, not really worried about the stretch marks. But at times the loose skin looks gross, no running on the beach topless for a while!
Where in my post did I say I was 78kgs? in the pic I was at 76kgs... I'm 6 foot.
This is the pic with an added shot at 85kgs:
Sorry for the typo! Looking strong
Excellent work everyone! Come here e'day for a blast of motivation!
This is inspirational !

Wow, nice work!!
Really good job on the site, Keep up the good work!
After fluctuating with weight all my life with moments of weight loss I finally decided to make a real go at it. Started out in July/14 at 325lbs after seeing myself in the 325lbs picture. I always thought I held my weight well but that picture shows I was in extreme denial. I started tracking and watching what I ate/drank and I'm currently I'm at 247lbs. Body fat has gone from 45% to 26%. My goal is to hit 220lbs and 13% by August. It will be tough but I think I can do it.
What has worked for me is heavy weightlifting and tracking my food, hitting my macros while eating majority of my carbs in the morning and tapering them off as the day goes on
