your doing 2 things wrong.
1. making it a chore to eat clean
2. low carb
Dont be scared of carbs. And dont focus on eating clean but focus on eating HEALTHY and hitting required fat and protein needs for the day.

This thread motivated me about 1.5 months ago, and since then I have dropped about 15 pounds. I can now fit into size 33 jeans from a size 35. Plus some girls have taken notice, and I won't lie it feels nice haha. Just wanted to say keep it up everyone, because everyone in this thread was my inspiration during the cut.
Still have a month or two to go, and hope my progress fuels someone else's motivation. 8)
I can only imagine what it was like for some of you dropping 100+ pounds. Seriously, you guys are awesome.

Can anybody tell me what's wrong with my body, I had lost 113 lbs last year, I am following a very rich protein diet with strength training 6 times a week. Please tell what that is by looking at the profile picture
I was 25 when I seen a picture of myself in my brothers wedding, that's when i'd realized how big i'd got ! had been in denial about my image for years, always though I looked good, when in fact i looked like ****.... I was 266 lbs it weight, body fat I have no idea & very little muscle mass, but started a lifting program, and diet, and over the space of 3 years I got my weight down to 196 lbs with a body fat level of around 14%

Suffered an injury that put me out of lifting for a while, I tore my abs & suffered an umbilical hernia, so had to lay off for a year, but I managed my weight, lost some muscle but nothing major, got back into shape pretty quickly...then came my relationship with my GF, training was apparently getting in the way of us, so I stopped, I got well out of shape, and realized that I was on a downwards spiral, told her straight that I needed to start training again, that I wasn't happy with how I looked & felt, even thought she was telling me I looked fine, I started up again last year and i'm happy with the progress I've made again, this is how I am now...

I'm in a similar boat. I'm still fighting this. They say that working on the lats and shoulders and staying lean is the key... We shall see. I wish I was 15, I will say that much.

Ha ! cheers ! Yeah, it's crazy how much my face changed, I had loads of people close to me comment on how I was looking skinny & ill, majority of them were overweight themselves, but not as bad as I originally was !!! But I was still at 196 lbs in that picture at 5ft 10, nothing skinny about it !! Still use this pic as a reminder of how bad i'd got.
Was about 266 lbs in the first picture with a BF of 40% and down to 196 lbs in the second with a BF of 14~15%, so I'd lost 80 lbs of fat & gained 10 lbs of muscle.

Amazing how that works. The better you look, the more critical you can be of yourself.
