5'2 / 204 lbs / 43% BF in 2002.... age 17
5'4 / 128 lbs / 17% BF in 2011.... age 26
Today I weighed in at 140 lbs with 18% BF.... age 27
Working on shoulders, god do I love the way women look with FIERCE delts and diamond calves.
Leaning down in August to see what I'm workin with.... in the meantime, I'm loving my bulk diet.
Sweet Potatoes, Yogurt, Coconut water, and unsweetened Almond Milk are my fave but definitiely get eliminated during my lean phase.
Gettin' There!!!
See ya guys when I shred up a bit... I might be in a cranky mood, tho ;)

Nice job
I must be eating the wrong stuff. Noted I have only lost 10 kg in 4 months but roughly 40 cm around my waist but the results here are just insane! I dont understand how you can lose the weight so darn fast! All in all, one hell of a job to all and kerp motivating the rest of us!
Me after 4 weeks cutting was 16 and half stone now 13 and half any extra tips guys the pic on my profile is after 4 weeks
That was after a bulk right?
No that was all cutting. 1900 was my highest for calories and eventually got at low as 1300 as I got close to my show.
My dude this is the most amazing transformation. I wish a lot of people saw this, because it's more realistic than what you see on TV nowadays. GREAT job.
No doubt, appreciate it man. Trying to get that NPC pro card in the physique division

mirin, routine and diet?
Thanks Man! Reped ya back
Ok, so I'm going to put my first post in here a little different than others. I haven't been on the site too long and haven't been back in the gym for too long either (2 months). I am going to share a pic of where I was 2 years ago (approx. 225 lbs) first, then I'll share my most recent photo (it's really sickening tbh). About 3 months ago I hit 292 lbs again, I had hit a very hard time in my life and working out was non-existant, stress was higher than ever, and overall I just didn't give a sh*t no more. Luckily about 2 months ago I broke out of this habit and got my fat @SS back in the gym! Overall I'm already feeling so much better (go figure) and I have noticed some changes, although I've got a long road ahead of me.
So since going back up to 292 lbs, I have managed to get myself down to 270 lbs today. So I know I still have a lot of fat to go, but my motivation level is as high as it has ever been in my entire life! I know this is a fat to fit thread, but this is exactly what I am going for. I just thought I'd share from the very beginning. And if someone doesn't mind, do you care to take a wild guess on my current BF%? Thanks.

Usually ~200-500 calories over your maintenance, helps minimize fat gain while gaining mass.
Is that a white supremacist tat on your left pec, or does it mean something different where you are?
Looks like just an iron cross to me. I know that the German army used them during the world wars, but there are plenty of examples of uses of the iron cross that don't reflect white supremacy. Off the top of my head, I know that West Coast Choppers and there's no racial meaning.
Very nice transformations sirs, very nice indeed!

Thanks. :)
Eating at a 500 calorie deficit. Using IIFYM and IF, but I tend to stick to whole foods anyway. I got down to about 13%/14% last time but after 9 months of dieting, I'd had enough so I was psychologically ready for the bulk. This time, I'm looking to get down to at least 12. One thing that's on my menu every day is salad - hence the user name.
Lifting-wise, I bulk with a 3 on 1 off - Legs/Shoulders Chest/Tri Back/Bi. For cutting, I use a 5 day split Legs/Chest/Back/Rest/Shoulder/Arms/Rest.
Last time, I was doing a lot of cardio - running and swimming. This time I intend to keep cardio to a minimum with perhaps 2 or 3 short sessions a week.

Sounds like you have got it nailed man and you know what works for your body really well ! I look forward to seeing the results !
Guess you have got To know exactly how you react over time , when your body fat was at its lowest point was your skin loose if you don't mind me asking ? If so did you did anything to remedy it ?
Your making me question my current plans though haha !
I'm concidering a bulk when I'm done with my second transformation - it will have been a 6 month cut from 125.6 kg hopefully down to 95. I got to 102.9 in round one took 2 weeks off to let my body recover and to shock my metabolism again as things slowed down - went back up to 104.9 and yesterday's weigh in was 101.7 but it was inconsistent with my usual weigh in times .
Depending on what the next 2 weeks being Ill guess I'll make the decision at this rate of steady progress I should rock in at about 97 kg in two weeks .
If I get to 97 that quickly I think I'll set the bar higher so long as the skin does not become to loose.
I'm thinking out loud into the thread now so I'll shush !
Thanks again for the inspiration any thoughts would be much apriciated :)

Yes. It's the one tiny downer I have. I didn't have a lot but there was a little bit hanging around the waist and lower pelvis area. I might get lucky and it did seem to tighten up a bit before the bulk, but I guess that's in the lap of the gods.
You'll read a lot about remedies and preventions but at the end of the day, it's all down to how much elasticity your skin retains. You could try losing slowly and using creams, drinking water, etc, but if that elasticity isn't there, there's a good chance that you're going to get loose skin whatever happens if you lose a lot of weight.
On the upside, I've heard that if you stay lean, it often does tighten up. It's just a question of time. And, like I said, it did seem to tighten a little for me.
Thinking about it though - I'd rather have the loose skin than still be fat. And when people have asked me the same question, I've told them not to worry. Wear it as a badge of honour. Every time you look down at it, it should be a reminder of your hard work and dedication and instead of feeling down, you should feel proud.

Probably one of the best things I've read on here so far - man that's an awesome way to put it! Thanks for taking the time out to read and reply to what I said :)
Also what you said about learning to stay lean will play a major factor if my arms are anything to go by then my mid section should follow!
Thank you again ^_^
Well not near done but this is my progress so far have lost 35 lbs. Not near as good as most of you, i dnt see i lot of changes like i would have liked, would like to loose about 25 more lbs. Tgen start a clean bulk! If anyone could guess b/f% before and after would be good im guessing maybe 23-25% now.pics on my bodyspace cant attach off my phone

Can't forget the ladies :) I run a blog project that celebrates transformations, Laina in the photo weighed over 400lbs in the before pic, she now weighs 200lbs and has maintained for a very long 9 years.
Rest of her pics are here http://wp.me/p2rpQN-6p
Hey everyone, my first post so I thought I'd post some progress pics.
Initially the goal was to loose weight I then decided to put on muscle mass. It's a work in progress so hopefully I'll be able to get my goals checked!
In the first picture I am 87kg
In the second picture I am 77kg
In the third picture I am 80kg
I want to gain but for weeks my weight remains the same :(
It becomes too costly for me to stick to organic protein sources
As far as the time gap between each pic, I cannot remember exactly but they are a fair months apart. (even the last two)
Im 42, started a little over a year ago at 238 lbs. I was miseable. Not any more! Dropped to 172. Bulked to 184 and now gonna enjoy the summer with a decent 6 pack at 173 before I bulk in aug or september. A former fatty, I plan on competing next year! This thread is awesome!

Not nearly as impressive as most of the changes in here, but a change non the less. I started out at 254 lbs and I am now down to 223 lbs in 4 months. Can anyone give an estimate of my current bodyfat? Thanks for the inspiration and for keeping me motivated, I cant wait to see what the next 4 months bring.

Well I went to the gym every day and I mean every day for two years. The first year and half I did 30 minutes of cardio then I hit the weights for an hour. On Saturday and Sunday cardio only. I kid you not I did this non stop. I also ate clean. Not even cheat meals. I counted calories and I stayed away from fat and sugar. I also stayed away from fast and processed foods. No white bread or deep fried anything. Diet is the key to looking and being healthy.
At one time while I was trying to lose fat I was at 182. I am on a mini bulk now but will start to cut again next week. 190 is my ideal weight. I try to stay around that. I am not trying to get any bigger really. I am just trying to maintain now.
It just takes time. I am approaching three years this Nov. Stay committed and don't expect everything over night and you will be good. I think that is the big thing right there. People need to realize this is a way of life.
