Here's my transformation! The pic with the sweater was at about my worst ever 2006 295lbs ! Bad marriage and all lol! Then the first time in my adult life I got a pic of me topless at about 174lbs! As of today 169lbs so getting fitter!!! Sorry about the crappy pics camera phone

June: Probably weighed in the mid to high 180s. One month into my journey.
July: Mid 170's
September: 160's, dipped back into the 150's back up to 160.
October: Today, after breaking the plateau down to 156 pounds.

The first pair of pants are the same one in the June pic and are a size 13. The second pair is from the Spetember pic and were purchased in August/September and are a size 9. Shocking that I bout a pair of size 9 pants a month ago that are now gigantic and earlier this year I was wearing 13's. So I'm guessing I'm close to a size 7 now. Crazy that I can fit my whole arm inside a pair of size 9 pants with me, haha! I remember them being really tight when I bought them and thinking dont worry, Im getting smaller, guess that was quick.
Basically during this journey I lost pretty slow and steadily. Hit a plateau in August/September where I went down to 156 but then quickly rebounded to 160. Started a bodyweight circuit routine and got my macros in check, back down to 156 with some noob gains made that month, looking a much slimmer and toned 156 than in september.
I'd love to hear a body fat estimate of the first picture and the most current just so I know where I've been and where I'm going. I have no idea what I started out and no idea what I am at now. Measly reps for anyone who can help me out!

These are a couple of years apart... but I was pleased with how much lean tissue I was able to maintain. I only really got serious with my nutrition for the last 6 months.

Thanks guys :) I had gained most of my weight from having kids. I have been really lucky that with the gradual change in size and with the lifting that I do that I don't have much excess skin hanging around. I am covered in stretch marks from pregnancy but other than the change THAT makes to the body, I don't even look like I was ever fat! I'm proud of myself and REALLY happy with the results. I'm in better shape now than I ever was. Which is amazing because when I started lifting, I remember thinking there was no chance in hell that that would ever happen.

I thought few weeks whether or not to join here, glad I did. This forum and especially this thread has given me much motivation to reach my own goals and not to quit. So I wan't to share my transformation and I hope it helps someone to get motivated at times you feel like quitting.
The last picture is about 4 months back and due to a minor leg injury I suffered from a setback and loss of motivation, I was so close reaching the goal of that time. Now that I'm back on track it's time to focus on my goals again and get real!

sorry for late reply. I cut from about 320 (Aug 2012) to 228 (June 2013) then bulked to like 250 (june -Oct) Now I`m doing a slow cut untill I get as lean as possible or to about 200-210, what ever happens first. hopefully I dont have to get under 200 to be shredded.
I currently do a modified version of Starting Strength where I added more excercises but the 3 day split and legs 3 times per week ideal is still the same.

Here's an update. Almost to 170 lbs! It's exciting literally seeing daily progress in the mirror. :)
Although as you can see by the last 3 pictures my weight-loss has slowed substantially; nevertheless I am moving forward and not looking back!

Great job! Those 22lbs lost made a huge difference. Looks you made some good muscle gains as well.

I shaved my chest and stomach with a simple razor. No waxing whatsoever.

Here's my progress so far. I have a ways to go, but reaching the 50 lb mark feels awesome! The first is me at 228. The second is me today at 178!
Warning: the first picture is slightly scary haha!
Also, I really wish I could just put the images in but I need 50 posts to do so... So you're all stuck with attachments for now if you want to look :(
Anyone looking for a motivation buddy please add me! I am really pulling to make these last strides and reach my initial goals, and I'd love to help someone else achieve his/her goals!

The scale isn't moving, but you're at the leanness were every pound makes a visible difference.
I also have the problem with the scale not moving. I have been stuck at 190 on this cut for almost 3 weeks now... but I feel like I am visually looking leaner and leaner every day.

Sorry mate, but "visually" doesn't mean anything. That is our mind playing tricks on us. We are working to look good, so our mind tells us that we are looking better. Call it wishful thinking if you like.
It's the scale and measurements that give a correct view of our progress. So if you are still stuck, try decreasing a few grams of carbs from every meal for a week, and see how it goes.
I am by no means "fit", but I think I have lost enough to warrant finally posting in here.
I have lost 25 kilos roughly in the past six months.
Six months ago I started eating clean...have only had water/protein shakes to drink since then and have been eating generally really healthy.
Three months ago I started going to the gym and lifting.
Here's the progress as of today.
Beware the picture is fairly gross.
I am 6ft2 and weigh 103 kilos at the moment, I know i have a lot to go!

You're exactly right! It's hard to see in the last two pictures but I can tell day by day fat is disappearing. It is only a matter of time until I reach my goal. Hopefully no more than 2-3 weeks.

Hey,
I'm a long time lurker and reader on this site, so excuse my low post count. I'm very skinny in the sense I'm not muscular but years of piss poor diet and lifestyle I accumulated a crap load of fat, mostly covering my belly, little moobs and a fat chubby face with a double chin. These past few months I've really gotten a boost in motivation to transform myself and my life.
I barely have weight trained in my life, I'm 25, been on-off at the gym, not training right, not taking it serious.
I'm 6ft. I was about 200LBS at my worst point (28.5% BF!). The before pics are from then. 6ft @ 200 doesn't sound bad, but I have zero muscular build so it was literally all fat.
I've been hitting the gym and cardio regularly. In about 4 months I've gotten down to 168LBS.
I don't think I'm done yet, since I still have a gut and a double chin and leftover moobs. I think I need to slim down more before I go on my semi-permanent clean, lean bulk phase.
I'd love your guys opinions, and maybe a estimate on my current BF%?
Should I continue to keep losing weight or start trying to pack on muscle now?
First 3 are before, other 3 are current.
