today i am officially 5 pounds away from my starting goal weight. at the end of 2009 i was roughly 220 lbs, i set a goal (at the time it was more of a dream) of 140 lbs. today i weighed myself and i'm officially 5 pounds away from the dream i had three years ago. back then i never imagined it possible, now that this seemingly unattainable goal has almost been reached... i gotta boast about lol holy crap it feels so ****ing good!!! i honestly don't even know where to go from here, my life goal is in reach, i never considered what would come next. all i know is that i've never been happier, nothing is out of reach, if you want something bad enough you can make it
Your transformation really is amazing. A shining example of what can be achieved if you actually put in lots of effort.
I work with some women who are on Weight Watchers, don't do any exercise and constantly claim about having loose skin and endless stretch marks (I understand that some are inevitable). I'm going to show them your pictures and show them that this is what you can look like if you do things properly, with nutrition and exercise.

Well I did diet mostly from 2009 till 2011, tried all diets really, KETO gave me good discipline but I looked like a child, so low carb diet suits me best really. It was hard lonely road and alot of sh..t happened to me meanwhile but I didnt loose my focus, I always felt like a new man after my workout.
So last year I did my first bulk and gained quite a good amount of muscle, my lifts went up nicely aswell (BP: 130kg 2x, SQ: 150kg 2x, DL: 160 1x).
I love working out with dumbells/barbell Im not a fan of the machines, free weights gave me alot of strenght overall so why change something that is clearly working for me right:)
Also I maintain a fitnes/bodybuilding lifestyle basicly the whole year, Im strict with my diet and my training, ofc I have some cheat meals and go party out every now and then also:P
But the best thing that this sport has given me is a positive mind, alot of confidence and work ethic, ohh and i learned how to cook !!:))

^ Absolutely stunning - Well done!
I wish I could do the same!

I have a question for all of you transformers..
Did anyone actually get through the whole transformation WITHOUT doing cardio/HIIT?
I mean, of course, there'll be times when there's a few cardio sessions (like myself, I play basketball). But actual consistent cardio every other day.
So.. anyone achieved their goal without the cardio?

Did basically no cardio, transformed with hardcore weight lifting for a little over a year.
Proper diet, decent genetics, and train hard in THE gym.
check out my log in my sig.
over 2 year transformation
470-142
Now Im back up to 200 and want to cut again
need your help guys. For all my bro's that have lost a TREMENDOUS amount of weight
1) i still have huge skin lower belly fat issues. When i started to bulk again, its like my 'gut' fat cells had memory and started to store fat there again VERY easily and immediately.
2) I did my diet (as described in my log) in a stupid way. I did a VLC sub 1000 cal every day for over a year type diet.
now I need to cut again, and cant cut on 1800 calories a day. It seems i just keep gaining weight. I shouldn't be gaining weight on 1800 calories a day. I track METICULOUSLY! and i lift hard 5 days a week.
I figure I have about 20lbs of skin/fatskin on my legs and mid-section, but what disturbs me is i can't seem to cut weight any longer
i see other bro's here cutting on like 2200 and 2300 CUTTING on that much... i cant even maintain on that much.
I realize i probably need to see a doctor but what Im asking you all is
1) what exact (EXACT) thyroid and metabolisms and testosterone tests should I ask him about? I;ve talked with him before, but all he sent me for was a blood work test and said "my blood work looks fine..."
sigh...
What was your diet/routine like? PM me.

Bloody brilliant! Beautiful transformations in one page!! Awesome job tilting40s,Nier,Maoro86 !! Inspiring!
Maoro86:
Thanks for the info man. But could you go into more details please?
What was your workout routine? Splits?
Most important, what was your diet like? How many cals did you take in respect to your TDEE? How did you divide those into carbs/proteins/fat in what ratio? did you try carb cycling or IF?
And what about cardio?

My workout regimen for the last 2 months have been to eat in a 300-400 deficit and workout hard. As hard as i can. Ive lost around 8 lbs with increased strength. Working through IF.
DARIU5:
I believe not doing cardio DOES lead to fat loss (ive been doing this for 2 months and have lost 8lbs), i fear that you can never get ripped unless you do cardio. My personal opinion. Its essential for getting shredded. Im just trying to maintain my mass and weight until i am finished with my exams! :)

Still working, 12% is the next goal! Carb cycling currently. Be harsh I can take it!

Mine is crap by comparison, but I'm proud of it. Nowhere near my goal of 140lbs before bulking, but I'll keep on:
Fatty pics are about 212lbs (so nowhere near the 255lbs I was) and not as fatty pics are 167lbs

Good progress bro
Not too shabby on the cut brah. Quick observation that your love handles tell me you have high oestrogen levels; the Dr prescribes Tren!

Was that aimed at me, man?
If so, is the high oestrogen from carrying so much fat at one point? What's tren?
-
um no. Metallover youve done a fabulous job on weight loss! Keep going! cut until you are comfortable with how you look. Dont listen to johnny, doesnt know what he is talking about

I don't think steroids are necessary at this point (if ever).
You HAD huge love handles. You lost fat beautifully. Keep losing and then bulk the crap up
-

Keep doing what your doing because it is obviously working. Forgot that bro science crap, you don't need a doctor. I was 240 and had huge love handles 1.5 years ago. Waist was 40". Now it's 30"
I'm 174, at 9% BF and on a clean bulk. Cut until you are comfortable with your BF and then slowly up your macros and lift heavy with good form. Your body will change, your waist will shrink, your shoulders will broaden, do heavy leg work and your hormone levels will increase naturally. Consistency Is the key. Never quit. Congrats on your losses so far, not to mention all you have gained!!
