Man... great work guys. I check this everyday and it keeps me going. I think of this when I want to quit or the last set was too hard or I don't feel like doing my cardio. Such an inspiration. Can't wait until I can post pictures in here.

My before was taken a few years back but, generally stayed around that weight. I started my current transformation the first week of August 2012. Starting weight 270 and current weight 165 at 5'6".
This has been an incredible journey, one that is never ending. Started late in life, nine years ago at age 46...age is just a number
So many awesome transformations on this post! definitely gives me more motivation! This is a before and after of myself.. Left pic was on 4th of July weekend 2012. Right pic was taken in December of 2012.
I would take another pic next week to compared my changes after December.
Looking good man, big change in that short of time. What I thought was freaky was that facially we look almost identical... long lost twin bro? haha

BF guesses?
Excellent job bro!
I think you went from around 17-19 to around 8-10
Duration? Diet? Workout?
I played football in high school and i was jacked!! then tore my acl and blew out my knee got surgery and bumed it for 2 years went form junk food everyday to no bread or rice high protein. im not too sure how accurate my bf is.
How did you do that in 3 months? That's an amazing good job What was your routine like?
As for the dieting part I quit eating junk food and drinking soda, also I try to stay away from eating too many carbs (switching out potatoes with salad etc)
As workout I did full body workout every second day, and cardio the days I didn't lift weights, the first 2 months
After 2 months I started with a 4 split workout program distributed on 5 days (mon-fri)
I always drink a protein shake and eat a handfull of raisins after every workout :)
Thx btw
Here's my transformation.
I was initially 235 LB to begin with.
I lost some weight starting August 2011 to May 2012, cutting down from 235 LB to 185 LB.
Weight loss was hard, because of lack of motivation and general slowness / metabolism problems due to antidepressants.
Eventually, I cut down to 172, and stayed there for nearly 4 months, and then lost around 7 LB because of an appendectomy.
Finally, I took the initiative and started a strict diet plan. I'm down to 157 LB and my target is to get to 140 LB.
Here are my progress pictures.
P.S. The boxing poses are stills from a boxing-play rehearsal.
The first two pictures are BEFORE pictures, and the last two are AFTER ones from yesterday !
It would be great to get some feedback, comments, advice. :)
Been lurking on the forums for a while, so I decided to finally post something. Last year I was obese (5'8", 240lbs). Been training like crazy for the 12 week transformation contest. Pic on the left is after already losing 46 lbs and now I'm down a total of 66 lbs. Only 3 weeks left in my transformation, but I felt like sharing! P.S. any estimates on current body fat? I'm thinking somewhere between 15 and 20.
here is mine the before picture is from december

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. That's about where my estimate was, so to err on the side of caution I'd probably assume 17%. I definitely have some cutting I'd like to continue doing once I finish this 12 week cycle and Stoppani's new program looks like what I'm going to do in May.

If your program is workin for you then why not do it after its finished in blocks of 5 week cycles as the goal will be continuously shorter and less chance of failing due to boredom.... You can see that whatever your doing is working so dont change it until you hit the dreaded plateau... Then shock that body for a few weeks doing a different (total diet n training change) the body adapts darn fast to routine... So spice it up now n again so to trick it....

Thanks ! Will do !
This thread has been a huge motivation for me getting back into the gym. Although not quite as dramatic as others, attached is my 3 months progress. I've gone from around 164-166 to 150, although I've been at 150 for 3 weeks now. I've been lifting heavy 3 times a week with 20 min cardio at the end of each lifting session and eating as clean as I can. Hoping to have better progress the next 3 months! Hopefully I can get rid of the moobs and maybe have abs by the end of the next 3 months! My starting BF was around 27% measured at the gym but no clue as to what it could be now.

Very impressive man, the difference is massive, I was once where you were, gotta keep working hard every day :D
3 months of dedication and hard work
Clean Diet (cut foods with sugar/sodium, no simple carbs, limited drinking to 1 or 2 days a week tops)
6 days a week cardio on bike (3 HIIT, 3 regular)
4 days a week weight training
