4 MONTHS?! surely not....
Had to come in here for some motivation. Good job folks. Worked out this morning but still not enough to offset the damage I did last night. I probably ate 3 days worth of food in one sitting...lol..
4 MONTHS?! surely not....
Maybe he means December 2010?
@ RhinoBody
Good job dude, but I definitely think you 're view of yourself in the before pic is off. Tall? Yes. Broad? Sure. Fat? Not really. With that said; you've toned up nicely, good job.
What. The. Crap. Amazing stuff brah
What kinda hard a$$ work did you put in to get results like these?
Thanks! I've been following a strict diet and consistency at the gym has been key

My stats
Age 35
5'8"
Starting weight 225
Ending Weight 174
Total lost 51 lbs
Awesome work mate, very impressive.
This is my transformation timeline. All of this in less than a year! I'm one week into my cut right now, already down 2 pounds! still have 12-15 lbs of fat to lose to get down to goal 8%! I'll post my half-way cut picture in mid May, and my post cut on July 1st!
Man this is just the motivation I needed. I thought I could never achieve fat loss goals, that I was too undedicated. But honestly I've never been more devoted to anything in my whole life. Been a month and I'm already down 10 lbs. Not near my goal yet but this is just what I needed for me to keep moving forward.
Thanks! I've been following a strict diet and consistency at the gym has been key
And repped for the transformation man. Had your kind of starting bf% too. working my ass to get it down
So have not been around in a while but figured I would post up some pictures from my start to where I am now. Started just shy of 270 a bit over a year ago I now sit around the 190 mark most days. I still have a ways to go but I am getting there and still smashing it hard at the gym and working on cutting slowly but surely.

Great transformation man! What your basic diet and workout routine was. By basic just Weights 3 times 4 times etc a week and diet a macro breakdown and how many cals on average.
Awesome work these help me keep going I have a long ways to go but everyday is a step forward.
6'3" - I've always been hefty & overweight my entire life.
Last year after my slut girlfriend cheated...it was time for a change...
And that bitch gave me all the motivation I needed apparently..... LOL
(In under a year and a half, I've gone from 35-40%ish? BF to 13% BF
Check out these images. Pretty amazing. I actually haven't taken pictures recently, but I'll have a 6pk showing in about a month.
Maybe I'll take a couple pics today and upload them.

Awesome stuff. How many days did you do weights/cardio? What was your calorie count and breakdown like?
Here's my progress so far. My biggest hurdle was eating socially with friends; I did that to excess all the time (that plus the alcohol). First pic is from about June 2008. This thread is super inspirational! Great work and progress by all. Keep it up!
This thread is amazing, thanks for motivation guys

The last month and a half I've been goofing off, got back on to finish off this fat and start bulking.
Still big, but about 30-40 more lbs and we'll see where I stand :)

At first I eased into a diet.. Didn't really keep track of anything, just ate much cleaner than I used to. About two months in, I started a consistent 2,500 max calorie, 200 grams protein and carbs, and 75 grams of fat. Right now I'm eating about 2,100 calories daily with at least 200 grams of protein and about 60-65 grams of fat. Plan on slowly increasing the calories a bit for a nice clean summer bulk... As for actual foods... I've religiously eaten egg whites, chicken, lean beef, vegetables, and whole grains for carbs. Fats have been mainly healthy fats to reach my macros... Peanut butter, any kind of nuts, whole eggs from time to time, and some cheese.
If you stay consistent with everything, your hard work will definitely pay off! If you don't drink, that's even better. Ice fishing trips and beer slowed my progress a bit over the winter :(
Check out my friends page on youtube! just type Trembja! has great before and after in under a year!

Wow! Great transformation.
Awesome stuff. How many days did you do weights/cardio? What was your calorie count and breakdown like?
I'm a really big label reader (as I think it's very important to know what you are feeding your body) however, I don't count carbs/fat/protein/sugar
I started running a couple miles every day, and I ate much healthier. Instead of fast food, and lots of unhealthy foods, I started eating right.
SUBSTANTIALLY lowered fat/carbs/sugar , while upping the protein. I found turkey, chicken, and beef to be a great source for lean protein.
Broccoli was an awesome part of my diet. It fills you up real nice, and is very healthy. I think IMO it's a "superfood". Just amazing stuff.
As I was dropping 4-5lbs EVERY week (for the first 3 months)...as the runs became easier, I increased the distance every couple weeks.
Furthest distance I ever ran was 17 miles.
After huge amounts of fat loss, I started doing all sorts of lifting, that way I wouldn't end up with "runner's body". Or be "skinny fat".
Very happy to say that my skin recovered very nicely. (Glad I did this at such a young age)
Here is an AWESOME example of "before" and "after"... :)
Thanks for the support guys. Continuing to train very hard, and it has been a completely new lifestyle, that I have learned to LOVE.

I would take in roughly 2300 cal a day.
40% protein/40% carb/20% fat on lifting days
50% protein/35% carb/15% fat on now lifting days
I lift 3days a week
Monday Back/Bi
Wednesday Chest/Tri
Friday Legs/Core
I did cardio every day

Thanks. It is funny cause what got me motivated was looking at the original Fat to fit thread and saying I would be one of those people posting a transformation one day.
For some additional stats I went from wearing a xxl-xxxl shirts to a M-L depending on the brand. (for reference the after picture was a large but that brand seem to run a bit small) and I was wearing a 44-46 pants and I am now wearing 34-36.

Gah, tons of people on here miss the point. Go back and read what I posted to him. I congratulated him on his success, but of course people will be negative and take it the wrong way. I just simply said that he went from a 'big' guy to toned, not necessarily fat to fit. He did a hell of a job, not taking that away from him. Douche for neg repping when I'm just being opinionated (factual to me.)
Regardless, this thread is very inspiring. Everyone keep busting ass, it WILL pay off.
Hard work is essential to anything worthwhile.
Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired. — George S. Patton, US Army General, 1912 Olympian

Thanks for the reply. You say you did cardio everyday how long per day and how did you do cardio on weight lifting days? By how I mean did you do cardio am fasted then weights later in the day or what? Or just weights then cardio in 1 workout.
Thanks again.

I would run every night and lift in the mornings. It just worked out better for my schedule to do it that way. I did not have a set time I would run for, I usually set out with a destination in mind for my mid way point then when I got there I would take a different course back to my house. Usually my runs were 4-5 miles total and never really went longer than an hour. It was never really a grueling pace but it kept my heart rate up.
Started around September 2010 at 6'0" 215 (first photo).
At 152 around April 2011 (second photo).
Currently hovering around 165 - hoping to get back into shape.
This thread has been really motivating.
Cheers!

Second pic is actually after losing a bunch of weight ( got down to 165 ) then said f this im too small and also stopped watching my intake, but I got strong as hell lol, taken around maybe like july of last year
Third pic is most recent ( still a few months old, i think its from january ) but a result of a solid 6-8 months consistency.
