Really impressive good job, what did your diet and routine look like?
Over the past year.. College made me loose about 25lbs, because of pure ignorance, stress, and a lot of cardio. Now Im trying to "bulk up" which I just started to attempt in the past week.
The 2nd picture makes me feel sick cause Im sooo skinny...
wow great stuff brah keep it up
really great job guys
Talk about success! Well done brotha.

11 weeks difference
question for the guys that had a ****ton of weight to lose. I've done fairly well and have lost 21lbs in about 7 weeks but am starting to stall out a little bit. Also, did you ever reach a point where you really couldn't tell anything in the mirror, just that you went from being a wide fat bastard to being a slightly smaller fat bastard? I dunno, I guess I'm just having one of those **** days where it doesn't seem worth it. Anyhow, I need to be grateful that my lifts are moving up and my weight down. Sorry for the rant, but had to get it out somewhere.

Coming down from 287, there's a time between 30-20%ish body fat that there was very little visual difference but clearly stuff started fitting much looser regardless of visual.

Take a look at my post "trying to lose that last bit of fat?" located within my BodySpace profile. It will help. Let me know.
It takes time and commitment. It took me a good year and a half to start to see the muscle. Don't base your progress by a scale either. There will come a time when the building of muscle will balance out with the losing of fat and then once you start build more muscle the scale will go up. By year two you could see a real difference and by year three it will be very obvious that you lift and people might consider you a body builder.
Diet is real important also. Just keep eating clean. There will come a time where you are going to have to ask yourself am I still looking to lose fat or do I want to gain muscle. Then plan your diet around your answer to that question.

Here is my progress over 11 months or so. I started at 175 in August 2011 and just started working out without proper diet. Starting eating right in December and bulked to 185 by March. Then I started to cut down fat while still gaining strength till where I'm currently at 165 lbs, 5 ft 11.
wow
Well its just cheating when you were never fat
these are my beginning and current at the moment. cheers guys
Golden, your first pic doesnt even look reay, all blobby and ****, grant transformation though

thanks dude ! appreciate it .
WoolyG, great work. Lookin' great now (no homo)
I'm no where near most of the guys in here yet... But here is my 8 week progress. Gonna cut until December, maintain through summer, then clean bulk after summer. Any advice or anything would be great. Wanna get down to 10-12%. So far i've lost 8kg (17.6lb) in 8 weeks. Adjusting my diet more, and added cardio (HIIT)

Mind giving me an example of your diet/supplements used? i currently look like you in the first pic.
This isn't an amazing metamorphosis, it's simply a good first step. Still got a lot of work ahead of me. The before is only about a month ago when I was just doing cardio, I've only recently begun to lift. That awful skinny-fat is leftovers from being 275 pounds...luckily things now are starting to rearrange nicely. I'm guessing I'm around 20% body fat at this point?
So here it is....One year later!
I went from 265Lbs to 193lbs
Neck - Then 15 1/2in - Now 14 1/2in = -1 inch
Upper Arms - Then 15 1/2in - Now 16in = +1/2 inch
Chest - Then 43 1/2in - Now 41 1/2in = -2 inches
Forearm - Then 13in - Now 12 1/2in = -1/2 inch
Waist - Then 45 3/4in - Now 31 3/4in = -14 inches
Butt - Then 45 3/4in - Now 36 3/4in = -9 inches
Thigh - Then 28 1/2in - Now 23 3/4in = -4.75 inches
Calves - Then 18 3/4in - Now 16 1/2in = -2.25 inches
I've lost a total of 33 Inches in those 8 areas.
According to "Height to Waist" Ratio and Standard BMI Models:
BMI - Then 34.3 - Now 25.9
Waist-to-Height Ratio - Then 63.1 - Now 43.8
BodyFat - Then 27.5% - Now 9.1%
There it is!
I have pretty lofty goals from here on out. Up until now I transformed myself using a mediocre diet, 20lbs dumbbells and push-ups. I haven't had the opportunity to push my body to achieve the lean gain I need.
It's now time to get serious. My goal is to put on 20-30lbs of lean muscle in 90 days and lose 8 to 10 lbs during that same time frame. I'll be utilizing HIT training, Intermittent fasting and natural supplements to achieve my goal. I hope to compete in my first amateur bodybuilding competition in November. Wish me luck!
