hey guys, Well I have lost 162lbs since august of last year, 354 lbs down to 192lbs now:)
damn bro creds to u
So, I was 27yr old, with 77kg (170lbs), back in 2005, when I was diagnosed with brain cancer. Had surgery, removed part of the tumour, but I have developed epilepsy now. Last year, in July 2016, I did radiotherapy and started chemotherapy (am still doing, but a light form). During the radiotherapy, which lasted 2 months I had to be put on corticosteroids (dexamethasone) for a long time which basically made me have lot of appetite and retain lots of fat and water, and I just surrended to the drugs and its effects and ate a lot also, with no activity level.
By the end of the treatment I had gained 20kg (44lbs), and was weighing 97kg. Wasn't fitting on any clothes and just felt terrible. Then I decided to lose weight, by simply controlling my appetite and keeping the calories lower.
I kept on losing about a kilo (2,2lbs) on average per week.
So here 2 pictures, one from October last year, and one from today, April. Almost exactly 6 months apart.
I started a month ago to lift weights and I started a week ago a low carb diet, to try and help the seizures. I am still trying to lose a bit more weight (body fat).
Once I lose the little bit of belly that's still bothering me some, I will eat a calorie surplus and try to put on some muscles.

I wish I had an answer on your sleep issues as I have them too....the only help I can give is to get your workout done early in the day to give the (CNS central nervous system) some time to calm down.
298 now. Looking for some guidance overall. Ideally I want to drop 100. I find weight training boring, enjoy jogging/running but i have no endurance and not sure where to go from here.
I find the time in the gym (working out) to be a chore as well....but seeing the results keeps me coming back. My greatest motivation is the mirror.
Well, when I was 17 or so I originally made the change. That picture, I wasn't at my biggest (likely 300ish). I had a Bod Pod reading when I was 16 at a place I was training at in the football off
That's what I call motivation. A lot of folks give up because they don't have access to a gym...no excuses for you.
While I was working around a small injury or two I discovered bodyweight exercises and am I glad I did....not only are they hard but they really give you a solid core foundation....if your excuse is not having the wherewithal (financial, location, or injury etc) follow MoeCrusaders lead. If you have a bad knee...do chins. The motivated find a way.
Hey man, as you may know that the body is not able to spot reduce fat.
Through diet and exercise true. That said...spot reduction is possible in a multitude of ways. I won't speak for all of them because I've only tried two.
A totally viable procedure called "ilipo" is done in a office...you pay for it...it's slow....it's safe...and can be relatively low cost (I found a groupon). I'll expound if you ask but you'll probably be able to learn what you need online. I've used it...IT WORKS.
A method I like even better because everyone can afford it is Cryolipolysis....start by understanding Coolsculpting and then begin to expand your thinking by researching cryolipolysis done at home. I've done it....it's slow....with thought and a little guidance it's safe.....practically no cost. IT WORKS. If you're just spot reducing a small area of fat good....it's NOT a weight loss procedure.
If there is sufficient interest I'll do a thread outlining procedures and pitfalls.

I’ve just begun a course of 2, 4 Dinitrophenyl (DNP) - a radical weight loss drug with a big stigma. At the age of 23 I’ve decided that I must try something new to tackle my weight problems. I’ve never once in my life been content with my body, and this affects many things in my life. From my happiness, confidence, and self-esteem to my social interactions, work, and athletic performance, I’ve never felt close to reaching my potential.
Drugs such as DNP have always scared me enough to keep my distance, but having already opened the door to common many common narcotics (acquired from sources I’ve no reason to trust), I see no reason not to use drugs for a longer lived satisfaction.
It is day two of 200mg capsules and thus far I’ve noticed little to no effects of the DNP. This comes as no surprise as my research indicates that dinitrophenyl effects are cumulative, with a 36 hour half-life. I am currently taking one dose per day, which I plan to continue for two further days to gauge my reaction. On day five, if I do not experience rash or other side effects, I will double my dose. My total supplies of DNP came to 30 x 200mg = 6,000mg. After four days of 200mg I will have 5,200mg. At two doses a day I should have enough to last 16 days further. I am yet to decide the duration of my DNP course, I will continue to monitor my reaction. If the side effects become too severe I will discontinue DNP use, perhaps resuming after a period of recovery.
The difficulties I anticipate are in relation to the accelerated thermogenic effects of my body on this drug, which may be considerable. As I work outdoors as a gardener and it is now mid-spring, I may encounter problems. To deal with some of the undesirable effects I will soon begin taking the following:
ECA (Ephedrine, Caffeine, Aspirin) which should help with energy levels as well as increasing weight loss.
Melatonin: 5mg, nightly. To tackle the insomnia symptom.
Multivitamins/minerals: Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin B, C, D, K.
Antioxidants: Green Tea, Berries, Oregano.
Diet: Fruit (fructose for liver function), antioxidants (see above), yoghurt to help with digestive issues, fibre if diarrhea symptom occurs.
Water: Extra water in a 2L water bottle to tackle dehydration.
Electrolytes: Adding pink salt to my water to avoid hyponatremia or water intoxication.
Abstinence: Alcohol, drugs (with the exception of occasional vaporised cannabis).
Exercise: Daily kettlebell training - 24kg, two-handed swing. Plank - 60 sec to begin with (core). Hopefully this will help me to keep muscle and prevent some of the excess skin associated with weight loss.
At the start of this DNP course, my stats are as follows:
Weight: 85kg
BF: 16% mean (thigh, hip/waist, bicep).
Waist: 32”
The lowest weight I’ve observed my body to be is 75kg, lowest BF 11%. My height is 179cm.
Any feedback or thoughts welcome. I'd like to share my journey with you so I'll post updates and progress.
Tues 12th May, 2017
Day 6 today of DNP course, dose at 400 mg. So far I’ve noticed slight temperature rise - especially under physical exertion, moderate tiredness and muscle weakness. My weight has changed little, 85.2 kg down to 84.8 kg. I feel mentally positive and generally happier and healthier which may be placeboic, as I am attempting a positive change.
I haven’t started on ECA yet, although I get a lot of C ;). I’m still waiting for arrival of this supplement. I’ve mostly adhered to the other dietary/supplementary stipulations. My (recreational) exercise has been less frequent than planned due to seemingly stunted muscle recovery.
I am carrying a somewhat heavy rucksack (roughly 10 kg) filled with tools etc around which has put me onto the idea of intentional weighting. I am familiar with the militarian practice of marching whilst encumbered. A google search reveals ‘rucking’, and indicates a variety of muscular and postural (among other) benefits. I may try the weight of my kettlebell.
I hope to hear others thoughts, and I intend to update soon with my progress.
The first picture doesn't really show how fat I was, but I didn't like having my photo taken so didn't have many to choose from. I had never even touched a weight and would get out of breath running for the bus (I can do 5k in 24m now!). I started working out about 12 months ago but had to take 3 months off to recover from an hernia op which hampered my progress.
I lift 3 times a week (fierce 5) and run around 10-12 miles a week. I'm nowhere near done but my progress so far:
Weight before : 180lbs (somewhere around 30%+ BF)
Weight now: 151lbs (18-19% BF maybe?)
Waist before : 36.5 inches
Now : 31.5 inches
Neck before : 16.5 inches
Now : 14 inches
I'm hoping to start a lean bulk soon, just want to get down to around 13-14% BF.

I watch his videos from time to time. Pretty much he does an episode every day and you can track the lifestyle of a guy in shape from what he eats, drinks, and does.

I don't know how I got the date so confused on my last post here... lol, but today is day 10 of DNP.
I've been seriously questioning the quality of my supply as my side effects have been minimal. There is just enough heat elevation, sleep interruption, fatigue, lethargy and irritability for me to notice. Weight loss has been minimal, if any. My muscles are showing slightly more, however I was hoping for much more significant and fast results. I’m really fighting against my own impatience here. I’d like to up the dose to 600mg per day (currently at 400mg) but I am resisting after reading other forums and advice. I hope that lower doses of DNP for a longer period of time will be as effective as a short term, more intensive cycle.
ECAs have arrived and today is the first morning I’ve taken one. Packet says take 1-2, so I’ve started low to check the effects. I’m generally eating healthily and being moderately active with work and home strength training.
My weight this morning is 84.4kg, and my BF: 14% mean (thigh, hip/waist, bicep). The BF measurement is extremely unreliable using the calipers. I’ve used the same locations to measure from to minimise this but I don’t think it is an accurate figure, I use it only to measure my own body changes.
I see little difference in photos between now and the start of the course.
I hope that stacking the ECA will help me see results.
I managed to break two rucksacks by overloading them with weight. One held approx 20kg for half a day and I was (kind of) enjoying the excess load. Once I get another rucksack, I’ll try lower weights so as not to break it. Strong packs seem expensive…
Day 11.
Yesterday I added 1 capsule of ECA to my morning supplements, then took an additional DNP at around 3pm. I decided that by day 11 the side effects weren’t going to become any stronger. In the evening I began to notice my body radiating a little more heat. Total daily dose of DNP is 3 x 200 mg capsules. Capsules are composed of DNP powder with a little cornstarch (approx 15mg) - therefore the avg. amount of DNP is 175mg. 3 x 175 mg = 525 mg (daily dose). I don’t have the info for the ECA but the packet says take 1-2 capsules per day.
This morning I increased ECA to 2 capsules, kept DNP at 2 capsules (I’ll take another one at around noon, allowing me to monitor any side effects before then). I had a quick jog, to be honest I was quite lazy with it and spent half of the time walking. Afterwards I had a weigh in and saw a loss of 1 kg since yesterday. Current weight = 83.4 kg. This is the level of weight loss I was hoping for, perhaps I have found the correct dosage of DNP for me, or it is the effect of stacking the ECA (transferring lipids to the blood).
I’m still off the alcohol which will be a challenge tonight as I’m seeing a friends gig. I usually find it hard to abstain in a bar, but I’ll do my best as I don’t want to **** up my temperature too much.
So in truth I've been going up and down since 2012, between 2012 and 2015 I went from 250 down to 190, and then back up to 275. Was struggling with health problems. From 2015 to Aug of 2016, I lost 45 lbs (275 down to 230). No exersize all dieting, drs orders. walking was permitted but I hate walking lol. I was lucky to get 2000 steps a day.
In Aug of 2016 I got more serious, So I started dieting very strictly, very clean, even did a few sessions of intermittent fasting which by Feb 1st resolved my health problems and got me down to 163lbs and cleared for lifting.
Hello guys!
I'm new on this site but it helped me a lot since I started my fat loss journey.
I used to play water polo for about 10 years but after I quit I've got really fat because of bad nutrition and junk foods with alcohol on top.
My bad habits were affected my whole life and I had enough of it.
I changed my lifestyle and trying to get to my best physique.
I know its gonna be a long time.
On March I started doing lifting with HIIT and SS cardio combined. I had a few years experience before so I'm not a full newbie at least.
I dont really know my current body fat % but I really want to get to about 10-13%
From 237lbs to 191lbs.
I'm 6ft tall 25 years old btw
Here are couple photos of my nearly 3months progress.
Sorry for my bad english.
I was really fat (245 IBS) and had a nasty breakup with my girlfried at the time. (4 years of hell) My tax return came and I needed to get my self esteem back. (She robbed me of it) So I bought an eliptical trainer and put in my living room... Everyday I would run on this thing each day increasing the time. I then dieted and just ate vegetables and meat... I went down to 160 and loss an incredible amount of mucle mass. This transformation took me 13 weeks...
Although, loosing weight has it's perks as you can see.
I learned though to lift and retain mass.
Excellent job!! Congrats!!

Hi, new member here!
My name is Chris and I have been obese most of my life.
3 months ago I set out to change my life for the better and influence my kids to take care of their bodies.
I was 334lbs at the beginning of my journey and set myself a goal of losing 100lb in as much time as it takes. I am currently at 283lbs losing 50 lbs in 3 months.
I started walking 5 to 10km daily in the woods or on hilled roads. I lost my initial 30lbs doing this along with a complete lifestyle and diet overhaul. The last 20 has been the hardest so far but I can feel and see my body changing and my strength gaining.
This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and would like to share it.
My first post! What an amazing community and thread!!!
Just started working out again and planning to make a transformation!
To every one in here, congrats on such hard work and progress! You all are motivation to everyone!
Decided to go find old Halloween pics. I had forgotten about the 80s-ish **** show on the left lol not surprised I suppressed that memory. Anyways here is me on Halloween 2007 vs me on Halloween a couple years ago. As much as I hate to admit it I can't deny that being able to run with the sloots on Halloween instead of casually trying to hide my fat rolls all night with creative layers of fabric and fur is probably the best part of losing weight

GJ =p
Gj everyone
First I just wanted to say that I am not sure if this is where I should post this. With that being said I am new to this site, and currently looking to get in the best shape of my life, which should not be too hard considering the only shape I have ever hardly been in is round. I am currently 280 pounds and over 55% body fat. I live a very non active lifestyle mostly playing video games all day etc. with very little motivation. Well that is until a few days ago I decided I was done sitting around and going to try to take control back of my life. At my heaviest I was about 320 pounds, but dropped all the way down to 220, then came back up to my current weight of 280. I am looking for some motivation and to meet new people who have a more active lifestyle so that I might have the same thing myself. I really want to change, and am tired of trying to do it all by myself, as it has not worked out well for me in the past, and I am afraid that if I lose my motivation again I will just keep going up and up in weight. I cannot currently go to a gym as there are not many nearby, but one is opening up in 72 days here and I plan to go to it. Right now I am mostly looking to do cardio and calisthenics. If anyone has advice for me I would greatly appreciate it and any motivation is also welcome. I want to drop a good amount of weight and be prepared for when the gym opens here so that I can really go at it and see the best results of my life. I have uploaded a picture so you can see how out of shape I currently am. I am not used to putting myself out there like this, but I really feel like I need help and to find people getting the results I desire. If you took the time to read this thank you for taking the time, and feel free to comment.
well done mate.
Michael86, that's awesome man.. Can you give a breakdown of what you did to get to this point? Exercise and diet? I'd appreciate it, thank you!
GOod point mate
This is my first post on here. I started around sept 2015. For about the first year I didn't really lift and didn't know too much about nutrition. When I started into the 2nd year, I understood it better and started implementing weight lifting. I've still got a long way to go. I started losing a little bit of hope since my weight hasn't done much in the past few 3-4 wks. I'll have to readjust and go from there. I figured coming here would give me more drive and help from others. If uploaded pics don't work, I have them on my profile in the gallery photos.
Stats:
5'7'' in both pics
older pics: around sept. 2015 weight: around 242 lbs. bf( I have no idea)
recent pics: took theses about a week ago.weight: 166-167. bf (guessing around 14-15%) I do also have some loose skin
Edit: bf is prbly a little higher than what i said if it really matters.
hey there.
I am Dennis and I'm 21 (not 47 I don't know how that happened lol.) At age 14 I was obese and I started to realize that my body looked very ugly in front of the mirror, so that's how my life changed. First of all I cut sweets such as waffles, potato chips, chocolate and oily food like Pizza, fries, sausages. Then I began doing cardio training for 1 year. Afterwards my body has changed and I felt happier and more motivated to push my limits. so I trained more intensive and saw bigger and better results. After another year I got rid off of all my fat. I was 16 years old then. Moreover, I thought it was the best idea to start lifting weights and get some gains. So I looked for the gym. Then I went there 5 times a week. I did twice a week cardio and 3 times a week lifting. To this day, I am still hitting the gym consistently and following my programm. My friends, relatives and other people was shocked to see me suddenly lean and muscular. and the girls? Eeehhh they were quiet and didn't say anything. well, typical them. Too much self love. Now they venerate me lol. I can give people tips. By the way, I am new here just registered myself yesterday. I am still looking for to change my age because I am 21. I don't want to show my face for some certain reasons. (disruption).
You can click on my profile and see some pictures of my physique just in case if you need motivation ;)
Great job everyone!
good transformations, stay shredded!
In process of publishing a second video of my transformation. Here are a few shots that you may have seen!

Amazing job!!
Here is my personal transformation! I was a yo yo dieter and exerciser for years and never lifted heavy weights (I dabbled in crossfit but never lifted super heavy there) until I met my husband who introduced me to powerlifting. Approximately one year separates these photos although my "before" physique stayed the same until this January. We began lifting and hitting conditioning workouts consistently in our garage gym and also began incorporating a lot of strongman movements into our workouts which did wonders for my physique. We began cutting in June for our first physique and bikini competitions which are coming up on November 4th and with our nutrition dialed in were able to take our transformations to the next level! I'm very excited to compete!

I started my transformation from Saturday. Hopefully, in 12 weeks I will be what I have projected.
I am following 12-week transformation daily video by Kris Gethin program.
This is very very insipirational and hope i could get this too. I'm Erymar Torres (you guys can call me reymar). Its my first time going to gym cuz i just realize i want to be fit. I weight about 85kg with this Belly fat I would say 30% body fat. The last two weeks I start gym workouts and i got this workout plan and I'm on my 3rd week this coming monday. I started out a diet like 1 cup rice caloric deficit and etc. and for me it feels like my belly fat is still same but what i notice is my pants during my work office is kinda loose. i dont know if im not being patience, but I want to know how long i could transform cuz my goal is to be on 70kg or 75kg with a muscular body. The reason i want to know so i could not be wasting my efforts working out and came out fail :(. so can anyone help me out guys what is the good workout routine (I LOVE GYM WORKOUTS THAN CARDIO) and i want to know also the good budget diet. I hope someone could help me out.
sorry for my bad english.
