Looking at the pics here and seeing the progress and the time frame makes me think i've been doing something wrong lol. Feels like my progress is moving too slow.
Congratulations! Really great transformation.
Nice job.
Have you taken any body fat readings?
Thank you. Yes I have. About 1 month ago I was around 12%. I have lost another 4 lbs since then. I will measure again soon. Would like to get to about 8 for the next month or so then start a clean bulk in August or sept
I SO needed to see the word consistency today! I keep reading and seeing if I need to change anything I am doing but every thing I read everywhere I am doing exactly what I should be doing! I have been stuck at my current weight for 5 or 6 months, but I continue to drop inches. People (specifically on these boards) tell me there is no way at my weight and height that I am 18% body fat....maybe I am crazy but something in my head is telling me I am doing something right! Guess I need to suck it up and post pics that aren't over a year old!
Someone made it real simple for me once. It took some research and foot work on my part but they said:
To loose weight eat at a 500 calorie deficit. Lift proper and heavy. Do some cardio first thing in the am with no food
Take a vitamin. Sleep 8 hours. Cut out sugar and fast food. Lean meat, healthy fats and carbs. Lots of water
To gain some weight do all the same but eat 500 calorie above your BMR
Keep it up and use the mirror more than the scale
definitely the best motivational thread on this site. Hopefully by the end of the summer I will be able to post my pics in here! Check out my progress in my log, (in the losing fat log section). But for real, I browse this thread everyday, awesome job everyone.

The first picture is my 'before' picture, and the other three are my 'after' pictures.
I don't mean to bother anyone, but if u could look at my last picture and tell me if that thing around my ab area is body fat or loose skin it would be very helpful! Thanks !
Looking good brother keep it up!!!!
Repost for those of us over 35 :)
nvm
So, at my heaviest I was 370-375ish. I have a couple of those pics attached. I lost some weight and then was down to around 310 (initial pics on my bb.com progress photos).
As of 6/9/12 I weighed in at 217.8lbs.... Pretty happy with what I have been able to do, but I know I still have a ways to go. Trying to just lost as much fat as possible, while gaining more muscle. It's a fine line, but I think I am getting there.
Love this thread, have followed it for quite some time....
Keep it up fellas!
Where I started vs this morning. Slow progress. Got to figure out a better routine/diet.
So I started my cut last week and so far I'm down 5lbs. Kind of disappointed in myself but o well I just need to add in more cardio and continue to eat clean.
