looking forward to starting my next cut I'm hoping to get down from 265lbs-270lbs to 230lbs by the end of summer. Cardio and a clean diet are going to be my new best friends (just hoping I have the will power to make it through this cut)
This is my motivation

Sorry about going back through like 6 pages of posts lol
PaLftr!! Well done man, can you fill us in on some more details and how you did this?.. Amazing work, I'm stoked for everyone here who's taken their lives back.

Hey guys, I don't normally post but I figured I'd post something up because I made this last week and was showing some of my buddies. This is the progress I've made ever since I was a little kid. It took me a while because I didn't pick up lifting until recently,so it may be different from some of the other transformations you guys do in shorter periods of time, but I'm just happy that I didn't continue down the road that I was heading with my life.
(Sorry picture was supposed to go here but I can't post links because of my post count)
I'm not 100% happy with my body right now (as you can see I still have some fat around my hips) but I'm a work in progress and I'm working my hardest right now to trim that fat around the edges. Thanks for listening! oh and yes my face looks so funny in that picture lol

I feel your pain - growing up fat is quite possibly the worst thing ever. I think it affects how we think/feel about food for the rest of our lives! You're doing great though and keep on the path with your transformation!
i just register to say the amaized i am to see the results from you guys, i tried to loose weith my self but i always give up
i find this thread by chance and this make think my whole life expeciale the post from neginfluence04, having a motivation such as yours its a great step for sucess.
YungFeddy you are an example for my thanks for sharing your experience.
sorry for the text but i really want to share this toughts with you guys.
keep up the good work
Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for the motivation. After goofing around with it some last year, I just got back into powerlifting and eating right about a month ago and I'm down nearly 15lbs and my measurements are as small as they've been in 2 years since before my wife got pregnant. Still got a LONG way to go to get in the 198's, but we'll see. Look forward to posting some pictures of my own up here in a few months.

that is such a good story. I really can't pick "one part" that I liked the best. But if you were to hold a gun to my head, I would go with the part with the pictures. I just got off the phone with an armored truck company. They will be arriving in the morning to pick up my back up disk, which I just saved your story on to. There probably won't be much traffic, because I forwarded the police your story, and they agreed to escort the armored truck to its destination. At first the police chief didn't want to help, but then I guided his attention to the incredible pictures that you embedded along with your story. I mean, the story was good enough. But as soon as I saw the pictures that went along with it, I called my grandmother, who is blind and has Alzheimer’s disease to tell her. As far as her doctors in the nursing home are concerned, she is cured of all her ailments now that she heard your cool story. She is actually preparing to run the Boston marathon this year now. Thank you
And I love how its always the knucklehead without one picture up that has something to say. Easy to say something when there is nothing to lose or defend. great work Rhino. Pass your knowledge along and make a difference for another now that you know the way.
Hey guys. I really appreciate the encouragement and support that I have received in here since I posted my first set of pics a while back.
I have one more update before I really start the push to bulk up and fill out. I was trying to bulk a bit over the past 3 or 4 weeks but I ended up losing some more weight. For those that recall my story, I am now down to 160 Lbs. at less than 9.9% BF. A huge accomplishment for me. Gaining the strength back is going to be hard. The short version of the full story is in my sig.
Here is the full transformation over 11 months. Loose skin is the devil.
318 Lbs.

Hello guys,
I come seeking advice, I've been a long time lurker to this thread and hope to make a contribution in just a few months. Ive been a big guy my whole life, looking to make some lifestyle changes. I started a routine I made about a year ago and fell off. My diet consisted of nothing more than chicken, turkey burger, brown rice, and broccoli. I'm looking for diet advice with more variety that will help me stick to it in the long run. Thanks for the input.

I have, in no way, made the transformations that some of the people in here have... im amazed at alot of them! BUT, i thought i would post up my four week progress. Trying to gain lean muscle and lose the fat.
For years, every summer i lose weight training for cricket. I get to about 88kg by the end of summer, and then pre season cricket rolls around, and I'm back in the mid 90kg range. This year, i decided, after years of being unhappy with how i looked, to do something about it. I eat right, train 5 days a week in the gym, and 3 big cardio sessions a week as well.
still got a long way to go, but here is my first four weeks

I can attest to this as well and agree. I used to be close to 320, just make sure that you are not going overboard with anything, and that what you are eating each meal is sound nutritionally (for example: Don't eat "White bread", choose a healthier wheat bread with some nutritional value). You will lose weight and fat with a calorie deficit if you stick to proper nutritional profiles. Consistency is the key to fat loss in my opinion.

Keep in mind with the height with johnnyj411 and bodeen2000 -- 5'6 and 5'7 -- their macros are NOT going to be appropriate for someone in my height range @ 6'2. Those extra 7-8" make a big difference.
Some inspirational sh!t in this thread. Helps to keep me grinding away. Will post pictures soon of my progress. Congrats to everyone on their hard work and health!!!
