I'll piggy back on my wife's post above (AmandaLaughlin) and show my progress in the same time period as her.

Any specific help for a fit guy who still has man boobs?
Dayum! Some great motivation in this thread!
Keep it up guys/gals!
Amazing transformations. I think this is the place to get motivated.
I started my transformation from Saturday. Hopefully, in 12 weeks I will be what I have projected.
I am following 12-week transformation daily video by Kris Gethin program.
This is very very insipirational and hope i could get this too. I'm Erymar Torres (you guys can call me reymar). Its my first time going to gym cuz i just realize i want to be fit. I weight about 85kg with this Belly fat I would say 30% body fat. The last two weeks I start gym workouts and i got this workout plan and I'm on my 3rd week this coming monday. I started out a diet like 1 cup rice caloric deficit and etc. and for me it feels like my belly fat is still same but what i notice is my pants during my work office is kinda loose. i dont know if im not being patience, but I want to know how long i could transform cuz my goal is to be on 70kg or 75kg with a muscular body. The reason i want to know so i could not be wasting my efforts working out and came out fail :(. so can anyone help me out guys what is the good workout routine (I LOVE GYM WORKOUTS THAN CARDIO) and i want to know also the good budget diet. I hope someone could help me out.
sorry for my bad english.
Been following this thread for years, only dome something about my weight this year though!
Jan 2nd I was 281lbs, I'm currently 203lbs and I'm going to keep cutting until the end of the year.

Hi guys, newbie here. Used to be fit, now fatter than I've ever been.
Just wanted to thank everyone in this thread for the motivation I needed to get back in the gym. This is without doubt the best thread on this whole site.
I'm planning on posting weekly progress pics in here during the early stages to keep me accountable and motivated (and because it's the only way I'll ever get to 50 posts!)

You need to be at a calorie deficit while eating enough protein. It's very important. Cardio is an easy way to create the deficit, but you can also achieve it by being really muscular so that your body needs more calories simply to function, though it will be much slower, and you will need to monitor your food anyway. Check out forum.bodybuilding.com/forumdisplay.php?f=16 and the logs in particular.
Create an account at MyFitnessPal (google it), enter your body parameters and aims, and log your food there. It will be a little time-consuming the first time, but then you can add frequently used food. I guarantee you will be surprised at just how fat- or carb-rich some foods are, while others are perfect in your situation (e.g., white fish or shrimps). Check out their forum, it's a bit more active than here when it comes to weight loss. Whether or not you want to lose body fat, it will be helpful to have MFP to monitor your protein intake.
Guessing the macronutrients of foods instead of checking them out, not eating enough and then going on a huge binge, forgetting that you already had some heavy food today - those are some mistakes to avoid.
I do think you need some cardio at 30% in addition to strength. If you _really_ hate it, maybe try some more strength-focused things like the rowing machine?

Oh thanks for the reply man, Just done gym today and i check for my weight from 85 to 82kg but still this belly fats i dont notice anything :) my waist is getting smaller too. i hate cardio and i love lifting workouts but if i need to do cardio just for the sake of this belly fats tummy i will do it :(
Good job to everyone, i hope to have the same results as yours!
I'm 5'6 and started at around 190 pounds, size 12, and over 40% body fat (shortly after high school graduation)... Am now down to around 117 pounds and size 0, which I've been maintaining for some time. I do HIIT, yoga, light weights, squats, lunges, etc and have a fairly active lifestyle because I get everywhere by walking, cycling, and public transportation (no car). I thought about being a personal trainer but my friends are urging me to do modeling instead. If that's the case, I probably have 5-10 more pounds to lose (do-able). Nevertheless, it's been an interesting weight-loss journey lol :)

Good job
I can't post links or images yet, but I've documented my progress photos and transformation on my bodyspace profile. Good job everyone.
