Hey guys/gals- so I just joined bodybuilding.com and am pretty excited about getting to know as many of you guys as possible as we share/learn from our lifting/nutrition experiences.
In any case, I just thought I'd post my results from my own leangains cutting phase
First photo I'm 216lbs, doing cardio 3-4X per week, but having no idea what my BMR is or TDEE or my macros
Second photo I'm 202 (right after starting leangains maybe a couple of weeks earlier), and in that photo I had just finished a massive thanksgiving refeed the last couple of days.
Third photo: 192, 12% body fat (pretty much where I am currently). LOVING leangains. I don't know how people can lift/exercise and not pay attention to their macros!?
Have a great Monday everyone!
[QUOTE=Skullster;1012896943]Here is my one year transformation so far.
From 281 to 192
Lifted heavy 3x a week, cardio on non weight lifting days and consistently eating at a calorie deficit.

WOW AMAZING! SPEECHLESS! You are 100% a different person
Wow, just looking at everyones transformations is incredibly and truly inspiring.
I'm new and I've only just recently begun to really work on toning and adding definition to my body. When I began high school I had a lot more freedom with what I ate, and unfortunately picked up terrible habits from my friends, ie. a LOT of fast food, chocolate and pretty much everything bad for you. And after a while I just was so sick of where it had brought me, I wasn't happy with myself at all, whether it be where I was physically or mentally.
As a child I was never like this, I had quite an active and healthy upbringing, and after being unfit and unhealthy for so long I decided enough was enough and began to eat much healthier and exercise. At my worst I think my BMI was around... 26, this was during a fitness appraisal for gym class (this is what really opened my eyes). After a lot of gruelling effort I lost 18kg and am now at 19.3.
I didn't like to have my picture taken when I was at my largest, but here is a still I've taken from a video.

Before I was focusing more on losing weight and fat, now I'm hoping to add a bit more definition to my stomach and arms: I'm not really looking to bulk up, just tone. Hopefully I can slim down my muscular calves and trim down my inner thighs to boot.
So wish me luck (I'll need it) !!

haha, nah, I was wearing some 3XL shorts and an open dress shirt that for some reason I buttoned it like that to expose my goodies.
I'm starting today :D
