WOW amazing Job bro!! what was your diet/ workout like and how long did it take you?? I also was around 300lb's but kind of stuck now around 215-220 for a few months did you have any plateaus like that? looks like you added alot of muscle on also very inspirational
Thanks so much guys! It has been fun to say the least! I absolutely enjoy moving my body, and now its more of who i am and what i'm known for by my peers, which 5 years ago no onewould have ever guessed! Lifestyle change for sure! I can't wait to hit 199 for the first time since like middle school (i know i said 200, but i want to see 199 at least once!) and my bodyfat to compliment it. it will be satisfying!
impressing, keep up the good work!

Much respect man, care to share your diet n workout regime? How much weight lost?

Wow man, amazing! How many years? I wish i'll get as huge as you someday! :P
From 285 to 170 in 3 years
I have some excess skin on my abdomen and i will someday get a abdominoplasty. Right now i want to gain 10 lbs of lean muscle. But im afraid of my metabolism and tendency to gain fat rapidly.. So im lifting heavy now, hiit cardio and whey protein plus creatine mono.
Started cutting at around 315, got the balls to take a picture around 285, now im currently at 225!
edit: anyone got any tips for that dam extra skin issue? lmao

I hear you buddy!... It bothers the hell out of me... I think if i remove it i will look so much better...
I am planning to do a abdominoplasty sometime in the next 2 years. But i hear there is a laser tightening procedure..called titan laser i think.. I will look into that first because there is no scar with that. Wish you the best!

Got any idea of a rough estimate for something like those?

Depends... On where you live, the type od procedure...the amount of work to be done... But I think around 5-8k to be done right...so do like me and start saving up jejeje. The laser procedure.. Is by sessions...couple hundred a session I guess.. And you see results in 6-10 sessions... Its cheaper.. But not everyone qualifies...and the results vary from person to person...

Hell yeah! I started at 40.
Go old guys!
....and to everyone else, keep up the good work. This has got to be one of the most inspirational threads on the web. Keep it up.
Went from 205 to 180 in a few months of a slow diet. Didn't want to lose muscle mass. Now I am going to maintain till February 2013 then cut.
I'm in progress, but this is my face (I don't have any good body shots yet) showing me at exactly 100 lbs. lost, from 350 lbs. to 250 lbs. Still going strong!

A few tips that I used to avoid getting loose skin (lost 50 pounds):
- Lose weight at a moderate pace (1lbs per week max)
- Scrub the stomach area with a luffa everytime you shower
- Eat a healthy and nutrition diet so your body has all the tools it needs to maintain skin health
- Apply quality moisturizer in loose skin area daily (organic if possible with vitamin E and all the other vitamins that work). If $ is an issue, olive oil works miracles.

I heard people talk about putting prep H on lose skin, but about the quality moisturizer any brand u would promote?

Cocoa butter seems to be recommended by most. Loose skin can take some time to tighten up , anything from nearly instantly to a year - year and a half depending on age , genetics , and how long it's been stretched. Unless its an extreme amount of loose skin , then surgery is most likely the only way. abdominal plastic if a full one aint without risks , infections , skin necrosis etc. So I would see it as a last resort after waiting for a year to see if it tightens.
Before and after 10 week holiday diet, and pretty happy with the change to be honest :)
Just another picture from the 10 week diet.
