Starting weight was about 265, and i'm going on a year now. Granted about 4 months of that was me learning the basics etc. I have a decent amount of progress pics on my bodyspace.

This transformation discovered to me that nutrition knowledge is something really interesting and I started to be even more interested in nutrtion facts than working out.

Hey everyone, lotta great motivation in here. I just wanted to thank you all for posting your transformations to give someone who is at the beginning of his journey a little boost in the right direction and the belief that I can do it too. In high school, I got up to 225but met a guy who got me into lifting and I dropped about 20. In college, I was a lifeguard and lifted all the time and got down to 175 and felt great. Combine life, laziness, stress, and horrible eating habits and I'm back up to 270. Long ways to go, but I hope to get back down below 200.

I made a thread, but I figured I'd throw it up in here also. This past saturday I finally hit my 100 pounds lost bench mark. I started at 285 and I finally got down to 185. I still have a bit to go I think before I start my lean bulk, I'm trying to get to 10%bf.

Haha, I wouldn't go that far as idol, but I appreciate the compliment nonetheless. I'm 27, 5'10. I haven't really done any bulking cycles, i've just been trying to lose weight really. I didn't educate myself on all this stuff until about a year ago, but I had a friend who helped me out by designing workouts and diets for me. I think when I fell off my diets but kept at it at the gym could be considered a mini bulk, and most likely helped me gain some mass since I never really lost intensity while lifting.

Thanks! It's funny reading people say they're striving to get to where i'm at because of the FFB syndrome (Former Fat Boy syndrome), I still see myself as that same fat kid. You'll get there for sure though. I believe anyone on these forums call reach their goals, I mean, we've already taken the first step just by coming here and finding motivation.

I'm doing 3 months of P90x from may to august 2012. Then i'll take a cutting break for 1 week and feed myself.
then i'll do starting strength for 3 months while cutting. Then change to something else after 3 months again.
Whaddaya think of this plan?
