Congrats dude! I see you have loose skin on your stomach too.
I remember looking at this same thread on January 1, 2012 hoping someday I'd be able to post in here. Albeit, I have posted prior to this, I have some updated pictures after bulking. Keep up the awesome work everyone!

not bad at all buddy, but keep going and dont stop.
This is my 2 month transformation, I am not sure if I am doing something wrong.
I started at 199 Pounds, I am at 181 pounds at the moment. I can't seem to get rid of my belly, am I doing something wrong or does it usually take this long?
I am, for sure in a calorie deficit every day, and am trying to take more protein than fat, whilst also keeping my carbs balanced.
and, do I just have a lot of fat on my chest? or is that just how my genes are?

Try using a fitness tracker to keep tab of actual calories ( even coffee if u add sugar etc).
Before that have you worked for it your TDEE with Emma Leigh's thread here.
Then you take 80% of that TDEE,input into myfitnesspal( or other free apps) and track it.
Hth
Good luck

Awesome transformation guys

When I started, I did full-body workouts 4x a week with mainly squats, benchpress, deadlift, millitary press + some exercises for the arms. But later switched to a split routine. And I know it's awful, but I did almost 0 cardio during my weightloss journey (only started to run on the summer for a few times).
The left picture was taken on November 9, 2012, about one month since I've started after not doing anything for more than half a decade. I was already seeing progress here, having lost a few lbs. The right one's from December 22, 2015, 38 months into training, having been relatively consistent the whole time.
Stretch marks still remain, but I think they aren't as visible as they used to be. :)

I can't even see them in the first picture. You look good. Good job
Not really ready to post my photo up yet, but the stuff in here is inspiring!
I've started using an app called PhotoFit on my iphone which I have found super useful for tracking this kind of stuff.
It allows you to export video timelapses of your progress pictures if you buy premium (highly recommend, costs like $1) so I might post one up soon.
Anyone know if we can post short videos in here?
This is my little transformation, I still have a bit to go and am concentrating on toning up and trying to fill out a lot of my loose skin. I went from 108kgs pregnant (on 2 different occassions) to now 69kgs. I've never felt better physically or mentally, and most importantly our 2 young kids aged 4 and 7 are on board and absolutely love working out every day that my husband and I do, plus they know more about nutrition and healthy eating then most adults we know s hopefully we are setting them up for a healthy future :) This forum has been a wealth of knowledge for us and the before and after photos are really motivating, so thank you :)
so ispiring
Hi everyone!
Newbie here, to both the forums and Bodybuilding.com. I'm Talia or Machete. Not as in Danny Trejo (or even as awesome as he is!), but it's been my nickname for close to a decade now from my circus days. :D
I started my transformation in November 2015 (yes, I started RIGHT before Thanksgiving!) and am 11 lbs down so far. My first goal is to get under 200 lbs for the first time in 5 years. I'm 20 lbs away from that goal, through nutrition and free weights. Currently using the LiveFit training program. Anyone else using that one?
And very excited about going to FitExpo this weekend in LA! Anyone else going?

Thats a big difference for only being 11 pounds. Keep up the good work!
I've posted in here before but I've lost more weight since and today marks my 2 year transformation so here we go again.

So many amazing transformations in this thread - figured I'd finally stop lurking and start posting. Been years! Anyway, this thread is seriously inspiring. Losing weight when youve been previously fat forever is life changing, I can attest to this. If you guys wanna check out my transformation, check out my bodyspace. I went from 300+ to just below 200 lbs. Uploading a youtube video later this evening with more pictures + info, cant wait to share it with the community!

Great job! Did you cut or bulk first? Weight change?
Hey Everyone!
I have been lifting since September. I have always been active, but after I got married a few years ago, I got lazy and ballooned!
One day I woke up and decided I just needed to change my lifestyle.. so I did. Changed my eating habits and my activity level and here I am 4 months later down 40 lbs and still going strong!
Grey tank top and the picture of me with the white and black shirt are at my highest.. Green tank top was taken yesterday.
Great job! Did you cut or bulk first? Weight change?
Thankyou, I cut heavily first dropping about 3 stone then went into a slower cut focusing on trying to build muscle and strength by having a small caloric defecit. In total list around 4 Stone.
Hey guys. I began my journey in 2014 here at bodybuilding.com. I was under the delusion that I still had my old "powerlifter physique". Back in high school (7 years ago), I was a powerlifter. I went from benching 95 lbs to 245 lbs in just 10 months. After a few injuries, I fell off the train. I still thought that I had kept my rock hard pecs but I was dead wrong. I looked in the mirror and saw a pudgy out of shape dude. I kept making excuses: my shoulders hurts (x7 dislocations), my hip hurts (x2 subluxations), etc. Even before I fell out of shape, I trained way too hard and screwed alot of my joints up so I was scared and intimidated by lifting. I was also fasting way too much when I first started. On January 1st at 1am, I started lifting again. I even got my buddy involved. I am down to 205 with a goal weight of 178. Here is my slow progress so far. I'm on a 2,000 calorie diet with 5x weightlifting workouts a week.
tl;dr I've attached a progress photo. I've got a long way to go. I like hearing about other peoples' stories. Keep up the great work guys!
