Figured now is a good time to start posting and start with my progress. This is my progress starting from the first week in February to the last week in September of this year (2013). I owe everything I've learned this past year to these forums. Countless hours researching, reading, calculating, etc. and so far it has all paid off.
Yeah man, really hard work. Always bomb it. I'm trying to go back to the gym soon n clean my diet up. I'm in a whole self discovery phase of making health a priority and maturing etc. I'm seeing a psychiatrist and she has highlighted to me the importance of weight loss to suppress my condition. Posting this is already starting to give me motivation lol.
I had 126 kg when I started working out ---> lost 46 kg ---> bulked to 103 kg (2 years progress - 14 to 16 years old)
justin bieber/10 after -46kg. gj bro!
Any time I feel like I'm losing motivation I come out and check out this thread...it never fails to bring back the eye of the tiger!
Well done everyone! Inspirational!
Just do that ****

heh
I've created an account on here just to post on this thread. Seriously guy's and gals. All of you have done/are doing great great work.
This thread totally motivated me in my own journey on getting fit.
I can't count the times I've logged on to the internet before going out for a run or to the gym just to check on this here thread.
I owe a ton to forums such as this one for the knowledge I've accumulated so far.
I'm gonna post my pics in hopes to add to the growing gallery of motivation.
A testament to the fact that hard work indeed does trump almost if not all that life throws at us.
Seriously. I'm MIRIN!
285lbs last year
Right pic of me was last two months ago at around 205lbs, left was 1 month ago at 198lbs
Where I'm currently at around 205lbs.
I've only been barbell training for almost 3 months now. Fun stuff.
P.S.
Can anyone help me in estimating how much bodyfat% I have at the moment? Help will be super appreciated.
Well, guess its my turn now:
Last year I lost from 100kg(220lbs) to 90kg(198lbs), but when I entered university, with all the alchool and bad food, I kinda let go myself and gained it right back with an extra 20kg. So in may I my weight was 120kg (264lbs), I looked myself in the mirror and I didn't see myself, I saw a weak, depressed man, I said **** this and I started my transformation, I hit a couple of roadblocks along the way, but nothing I couldn't handle.
First I started some of those stupid programs that u need to pay like 20$ to buy, I only managed to injure myself, but I got a great lesson out of those programs, HIIT , I started doing HIIT every day with only 2 rest days in a weak, I lost 55lbs, then I started weightlifting more and more, with only 1 HIIT session per weak, right now I am at 191,4lbs , my height is 5 ' 10 '' and my bodyfat percentage is at 20%.
I don’t have pictures cus I still cant look myself in the mirror, I am like an artist I only show the painting when its finished xD
My goal right now is to get to 10%bf and start bulking, I am tired of being fat, and only ppl who have been fat know how someone feels, those eyes that u get from some people like u are not worth of being alive, those toughs that we get when we want to approach a nice girl but we only think "why am I even trying I am ugly and fat and no one wants to be with the likes of me", this is one of the top reasons I started walking this road and I am never ever gona stop.
p.s - Congrats to everyone that changed your lifes for the better, those who havent and are reading this, start right now and remember this "you dont become a legend without a fight".
hey guys, Well I have lost 162lbs since august of last year, 354 lbs down to 192lbs now:)
thanks :) Well I had a strick Diet, lower really the calories (at 75% BMR). But if you want to add muscule, I suggest you to stay at 11%. I upped now to 11 %body fat to add muscule, because under 10% it's hard...
My workout was only 5 days a week, 3 times cardio. Training on 4 to 15 reps, depending the exercises haha.
Cardio was HIIT training, with ropes and weighted punches (I took 10 pounds and punch the fast I can for 30 second, follow by ropes jumpes, 30 seconds, and alternate until 15minutes)
Was painfull, but paid a lot.
And for food, I was like 320 gr of protein by day, 50 of carbs and 50 of fat, in 6 meals. Mind have to stay strong, because you want to eat everything haha.
I hope it answer you :)

Amazing work!! Repped
Here is just a picture comparing my back from February to October. I'm happy with it even though i took a good two months off. Weight difference is 270lbs to 247lbs. If I could get some feedback that'd be great!
Hey all,
Here is my 15 week first propper cut. Dropped from 104kg to 85kg, although previously weighed 124kg last year.
Pretty happy with my results.
Beard feedback not necessary lol.

Great job!! what was your diet/workout like.
I am in the process of growing an epic beard myself.
I would like to contribute in this thread.
This year I've realized that I needed a change in lifestyle. So I ditched the sodas and fatty foods for healthier stuff and I'm loving it.
In April 2013 I was at my worst @ 106 Kg. The pic on the left, is on August @ 92 Kg. And of course you can see me currently at 84 Kg (Pic taken this week Oct 2013).
Results were also achieved by training daily with a HIIT programme.
Amazing work!! Repped
Thanks man! :) Even looking at these pictures now I can't believe I have progressed as far as I have.
I spent the first 5 months on a treadmill, and making much in the way of improvements. The past 7 months have been Insanity and P90X. Finally....some real results.

Well done. Just finished Insanity myself, now started Spartacus. Keep it up.

Thanks buddy!!
My diet stayed the same for most of the time: 1800 calories p/day 50g-70g Fat, 50g Carbs, All the rest Protein. On weekends i upped carbs to about 150g to kind of refuel myself. Seemed to work well.
Monday - Chest/Bis
Tuesday - Legs
Wednesday - Cardio (Started off at 30-40 mins, then by the end only 20 mins HIIT) and abs
Thursday - Shoulders/Tris
Friday - Back
Saturday - Cardio and abs
With the weights i was (and still am) doing 1-2 warm up sets then 1 working set to failure, 2-3 forced reps and then 1-2 negatives.
Thats pretty much it!

1800 calories??u never felt hungry?? I am 5 '6" and weight 127 lbs now. I have upped my calorie intake now to 1800 calories a day. Wow... seems like I have to consume 1200 calories now.
Long time lurker - First post!
12-weeks cut hard(ish). Looks like a lost some muscle, but I haven't lost any strength, in fact I'd say I have gained 10% lifting strength.
Plans: Now, maybe a little more cut to try get them abs visible and then attempt to clean bulk aiming towards christmas for some good results.
Sorry about the poor pics / iPad (iPhone lens damaged :( )
--------------
01 June: 86 kg
01 Sept: 73 Kg
Aiming for 70Kg in 3 weeks (achievable).

Another update on the above. Dropped another 2/3KG(Need an accurate weight-in).
Very happy so far with the results.
Also; Anybody got any idea (roughly) what body fat % looks to be? Never got this measured.
Very nice! Sorry I have no idea on the body fat, but great job.
Nice ^^

Nah man not at all... i drank a butt load of water, and i train after work so by the time i get home and eat dinner its almost bed time so there's no time to snack. But as i'm sure you know we all function differently so what worked for me might not be what's gonna work for others, but once you find what does work stick with it!
