At this point I got a Bodybugg, food scale, and a dailyplate.com account and started really tracking calories religiously. I continued some of the P90X routines, as well as lots of basketball and running. During this time I ate between 2100-2500 calories, depending on the month. I thought I was cutting based on the TDEE the Bodybugg was telling me, but I ended up recomping for a year, which probably wasn’t a bad thing.
I got really into running, and ran in the 2010 Silicon Valley Turkey Trot 10k (6.2 mile) race on Thanksgiving Day. It was 33 degrees when the race started. I finished 57th out of 4100-something, with a time of 39:36, a 6:23/mile pace.
