So I am planning on heading up for that burger eating challenge tomorrow! Does anyone have any last tips that have done eating challenges before? I plan on getting a lift in late that morning then will do the challenge around 3ish or so.. I feel like I should eat as normal that day until then, definitely a breakfast and then maybe something really light right after my workout?
[blasphemy]Or, you know, just have fun with it.[\blasphemy]

Stonie taught me well lol
I would load up the night before, stretch your stomach (veggies + Water), and just do liquids in the AM, load up the liquids early (9-10) like a half gallon or so and then just sip on them till the challenge (stretch the stomach in the AM). My 2 cents.

This
Thanks guys! Would rep, but as usual, on spread.. I am going to try to film it and post everything in here afterward!

Been talking to stonie the last 4 years and before he came famous. And you can see that in some of my previous youtube videos when i did my stunts at home for the dagwood and the little C's pizza.
May be holding off on the PIttsburgh Burger challenge that is new at the Pittsburgh Steak & Co, noone has beat it yet for a 3lb burger, btu that is beef alone. +1lb bun + Toppings + 1lb fries (almost 5 pounds)
may be visitng brother in Colorado in the summer, Plenty of choices out there (thinking a 4lb Cheesesteak, or another burger challenge. I did the 3lb One in Golden by the Coors Light Factory with 22 minutes)
also meeting up with Alberto Nunez and Bryce Lewis for some Beau Jo Pizza
the home of the pizza challenge.

Dense and sweet, wont be easy for sure.
Think I'd rather try Bob's post, love a good pizza on occasion and meat/cheese would taste better in such amounts IMO.

Not necessarily. Pizza challenges are AWESOME. But as with all challenges, (and yes I mean ALL challenges) it all diminishes after a certain point. You can be the biggest pizza fan in the world, but after a pizza challenge.. it can be a different story.
Also keep in mind that meat + cheese (lactose) in large quantities = VERY filling. (Depending on the meat and person eating it).

the pizza challenge would be cool, but if the cheese cooled that would suck so much. just cant stand cold pizza, but I know alot of people like fridge-pizza
-
Speaking of pizza...
Soon. Jpeg
30 inches of cheesy goodness. Will by my first team challenge.

Says the guy who ate 3 pints of ice cream in a sitting
Right....
Sweets i would do in 2 seconds.
What is a good starting challenge to do? I'm considering doing one, but don't wanna be overwhelmed on my first onee
I would start with a 2lb Burger + Fry, or something around 2-3lbs worth.
I would start with a 2lb Burger + Fry, or something around 2-3lbs worth.
Those seem to be extremely hard to come by, though. At least if you want to get the meal for free.

Usually are.. typically the burger challenges are harder to come by themselves.. rather than the "eat it get it free" addition (since that's fairly typical of a food challenge).

Looks like he wasn't able to manage it... very weird seeing Randy fail challenges.

or...
That doing them 1-2x per day isn't the most "optimal" approach to eating challenges.

OK, I'm sure others see what I meant, so if you don't, just carry on.
That Oreo cake does look mighty good, though.
Oh, also, is Randy going to be posting his before/after weight (in terms of the tour)? Is it just me, or has he gotten noticeably chubbier? In any case, this was to be expected, but it really popped out when looking at those last pictures of him.

most people dont do 1-2 challenges everyday
more like 1-2x a week max, look at many top MLE Eaters, you dont see them doing it everyday, its more of a weekly thing
Randy has been going to the extreme. Not giving your body time to restore after challenges will catch up (hence his loss) if randy came in fresh after a few days off a challenge he probably would of smoked it. If you look back at some of his previous challenges especially sweets ones, he conquered the malt milkshake one which woudl be harder. he has done some ice cream ones that were greater in volume with ease. Doing multiple back to back to back will leave you backed up and harder to finish. Hes on a roll and doing more than most people would.

I mean from a physical stand point- stomach taking so much volume, digestive system having to cope with all of it, massive carb loads, ect.... gotta be hard on the system.
