Just got the call from the owner. Attempting my biggest burger challenge tomorrow, literally have to come in when they open because it "shuts down the entire kitchen for 45 minutes to make".
Gonna head out on a ride in the AM, and try my hand at it afterwards!

Also, no joke I LOVE eggnog; never drank a gallon at once but have dong a gallon throughout the entire day more than once. The creamy thickness, the flavor, honestly one of my favorite drinks; prefer eggnog to milk!

The meal FREE! Eternal Glory, you get to name the burger after yourself, leave a “layer” for the next person!

The Video
Coming tomorrow!
Final Thoughts:
The "Triple Headed Monster Burger Challenge"
(Now called the "LAMKINATOR")
I had 47.5 minutes to finish the Goliath burger. Only ONE person has ever finished the burger in the entire history or the restaurant. Even Jamie "The Bear" McDonald was unable to take the best down when he came into the restaurant a while back! (If you look closely on The Wall of Shame, you can see his picture). If I finished the burger, I received it FREE OF CHARGE, eternal glory, I got to name the burger after myself, AND I got my name up on the wall of fame! I ALSO got to add in "my layer" of whatever I wanted for the next challenger to try and defeat!
The burger came out and I was blown away...
- 4 sets of buns
- 8 patties (4 habanero patties.. SO spicy)
- 1 whole pulled pork sandwich
- 1 Mac and cheese fritter on top
- 5 fried eggs
- Onion Rings
- mountain of lettuce/tomato/onion
- 2 pickles
- 12 slices of bacon
- 12 slices of cheese
- One whole Kielbasa Sausage
- 21 oz soft drink (must be finished)
- 2 POUNDS of waffle fries
(Well over 7 pounds of food)
This was easily my most difficult challenge, but definitely delicious and worth it! The previous winner "Arturo" designed the burger to be "unbeatable" with the habanero patties AND the pulled pork sandwich at the top. As soon as the burger came out and I started, I made sure to work my way down and get the burger down FIRST. THIS WAS MY FIRST EVER CHALLENGE WITH SODA! (I chose sprite) to my surprise, it actually helped me quite a bit! I talked to a friend of mine before hand (Randy Santell) and the restaurant is notorious for adding MORE to the burger than what is listed, again.. I was surprised to find 2 additional sets of buns, more fries and more vegetables than what I saw in the previous pictures. But, I just kept eating!
I made sure to pace myself and keep working the burger until I finished it. Once the meat and vegetables were done, it was time for the bread (which I dipped in ranch). After that was painfully over, all that was left was the fries! These were absolutely disgusting, cold and soggy. I was able to power through them and finish at 41 minutes and become the NEW RECORD HOLDER FOR THE BURGER! I chose to "leave my mark" for the next challenger by choosing to put a HALF CHICKEN ontop of the burger for the next person who attempts to take down the beast!
IT IS NOW NAMED AFTER ME!
I was going to go with the "electrifyer", but chose "The LAMKINATOR" instead! (My last name fit better)
I got my money back, got DESSERT, and my name up on the wall of fame!
Again, this was easily the most difficult challenge I've ever done. But I can finally say, after doing this.. And talking with the designer of the burger, I WILL be looking into the MLE and will be doing a pro eating qualifier soon!
I CANT WAIT!
Video coming soon!

I figured so.. Have you gotten into any routine prior yet? Such as training beforehand to get appetite up, drink tons of fluid night before, etc.?

Other then you actually finishing that empire like stack of burger....I am blown away how it even stands up under its own weight even with skewers? Thats a feat in and of itself.......chef must be like
"god damn, not another one!" close the kitchen, we have a triple headed monster to make!
well done my friend! this would be right on par with the bi-annual fuddruckers challenge they do in mission valley.
3lb beef burger, 2lb house made bun, 16 oz coke, 16 oz fries of choice. 1 hour to finish. i rocked it out in 38 minutes thanks to sweet fries and liberal use of syrup for the bun!

I don't know man, it be close. Based on weight alone they be the same of course. That's the tallest I ever seen one but far from the most girth based burger challenge. Had allot of veggies on it to for added height.
The picture here is at Chula Vista Fudds annual challenge.....not the Fudd 5 challenge. I have never seen a bun this big on a burger before or after this challenge. Its dense as sh*t! Only 5 other people gave it a go that day at that store manager said. In the picture it shows their garlic parm fries which the cashier did not know I had arranged for sweet fries with manager (in the pic) before. Had them fix that real quick! Anyone who knows me if its not sweet fries in the challenge......the challenges not happening period!
March is the next annual event.....we should do a head to head video!!

anyone else LOL at how it was as tall as you from the waist up to your head?
Looks like 20 min mark you just about hit the wall and had to really dig deep. Pointers on pushing forward when you feel pretty sick? I know stonie says he tries to put it on his "backburner" and just focus on the task at hand, but easier said than done for many who have not done a challenge or only a few
-
It's really the mentality at that point. There are no easy ways out of the situation at that stage of the game, I know many just take the fries and ball them up and eat them.. Others start dunking. But it's really all about the mindset and how full you "really are" at that Mark.
Personally, after 20 minutes I KNEW I could handle more, I just had to push through. I would like to alter my eating strategy a bit if I'm going to be looking at the MLE (thinking of taking more of a chestnut/pete approach to eating ----> stuffing face instead of not being as close to the food). But either way, I'll be experimenting with different methods.
-
even though erik pretty much owned this page thought I'd put in my first attempt at a real food challenge.
menu labeled this as the el jefe challenge, I even remember naader taking on this challenge. Labeled in the menu as a 3.5lb burrito I figured this would be a good one to start with. After bringing them out I seriously looked at it and said there's absolutely no way that's 3.5lbs! but hey it was only 25$ to really be able to test my limits.
I ended up failing the challenge, but I made it a mission to atleast attempt a true eating challenge before the end of the year and I did it.
what do you all think 3.5lbs? yeah or neah?
