Not to take anything away from Randy, I think what he's accomplished is pretty cool. But at what point do you sit down and say, "Alright how much further am I going to take this?".
Goes to the UK for a challenge "tour"
Goes to the east coast for another "tour"
If it's for fame or reputation.. Molly, Pete, Stonie, chestnut etc are all famous than him. At this point I'm convinced it's just for the free food.
But after 200 challenges, I would be so done with it. Lmao

I've wandered this to that man is an eating machine, kind of always wandered why he never went professional. Almost seems like that would be the next logical step considering he could probably beat out alot of the pro eaters maybe not stonie or chesnut but either way, I'd rather be pro ranked #3 rather then #1 amateur.

May not be quite the right word for it, but you may get my point.

^ Doubtful that he'd hold up well against competitively ranked eaters (in my opinion at least). The guy can eat a ton (volume wise), I just doubt he'd actually be a good speed eater.
(I'm more or less like Randy when I do my challenges. Volume > Speed)

This....
Competitive eating is based off speed for events, not volume. Look at all the MLE Contracted contestants, those who are good are the ones who can eat faster than the other next to them.
Do not get me wrong some are great at volume, but it is a speed game.

New challenge going down tonight.
Biggest one yet...
Should be interesting!

stop taking the internet so serious.
is it bigger than the fatty challenge is what he is trying to ask you.

This chick from Sweden (kinda cute) who also does some cool lifting and food videos is the only female vlog I have seen who actually ate 10,000 calories in a day. I gotta give her kudos on this one! Makes me want to see if I can rock this out as it seems way harder then people think it would be. I eat 4500 a day on lift days as is and thats feasible but coming from clean foods its allot more food volume then stuff like most people use in their 10k cheat day challenges.

For this reason I have not nor want to be a competitive eater in these ranks.....speed is not my strong suit nor is it enjoyable for me at all. I did two of them early on when I got into eating feats and although doing well in both I was miserable during the event and more miserable afterwords. Cant say then event was even worth it due to the pain required. Volume based food challenges (compared to food contests) will always be my preference. Thus the reason 22 of my 24 challenges are all 30-60 minute time limits. This is just MO of course.
-
Well the IFOCE is based off 10 minute speed competitions, so that is why speed is a factor.

Final Thoughts:
Probably the TASTIEST challenge yet! Tonight, I took on Guahan Grill’s SIX POUND fried rice challenge! NO ONE has ever defeated this challenge, and tonight.. I was the first to do so! I hadn’t had fried rice in YEARS, so this was a real treat! Not only did it look delicious, but it tasted amazing! Usually when I do a challenge, the taste of the food tends to diminish or get bland after a while..but this was amazing throughout the entire half hour! The food came out a bit hot, so I did my best to work my way around it (after taking down the eggs on top..left a few for the last bit).
Initially, when it came out.. I thought to myself “this doesn’t look six pounds”. But as I peeled away the eggs on top, and saw the absurd amount of rice hidden.. it became apparent that this thing was a monster. I worked my way around the rice on the corner, and made my way to the center. Since I had an hour to do this challenge, I took my time on this one (as you’ll see in the video, I talk a lot to my parents/GF/server).
My strategy was pretty simple, since it was rice.. I wanted to get it all down. As quick as I could, not like a burger challenge where you go for the meat first an hit the starches last. This one was awesome! I’m so glad that I got to do it, and I will more than likely be heading BACK TO DO NINE POUNDS of it!
The NEXT Challenge will be even better!

Are we forgetting who's asking the question? lmao.

Gratz Erik, 6 pounds of rice would not be easy, volume and carb bloat...
On the 10k calorie challenge; I think it depends on food choices. Stonie did 12 Cinnabons and that was something like ~12k calories. Eating that throughout an entire day would not be the hardest, but some people seem to load up on things like cereal which are (relatively) more filling for the calories.
-
Good job Erik, did you give your dad the $25 bucks back for paying for it?

Psycho asked if it was including the one you failed in
and you claimed this is the biggest yet
this was a 6lb challenge + 6 eggs
the big fatty --> "This is indeed Fat Sal's Big Fat Fatty: the most majestic sandwich ever, loaded up with an entire appetizer menu's roster of ingredients and weighing in at just about 9 POUNDS"
http://www.thrillist.com/eat/los-angeles/hollywood/fat-sals-a-step-by-step-guide-to-the-largest-craziest-sandwich-thats-ever-existed
9 lbs >>> 6 lbs and 6 eggs does not = 3 pounds.

@the solution
yuheff2bmed? u seem more worked up over this than erik or psycho
@erik
impressive mang.. christ, that amt of carbs cant be easy. I felt like death just doing a pot of yam paste (http://www.anncoojournal.com/2010/03/sweet-yam-paste-nee_8526.html) and that was untimed.

-
Bob gets ass hurt and likes to be a prick, thought we all noticed that by now; only he is flawless.
because a person says their biggest challenge yet
but his sig says 12 pounds, the website claims 9 and his challenge was 6 pounds
so i am wondering how a challenge he did that was double the size(12lbs big fatty sandwich) is not the largest one to date which was 6 pounds (Recent Challenge). Which does not add up.
I see your flawless lean gaining forever is working perfect as well
122 pounds 3 years later.
Ok bro.

Your avoiding his question. Just answer it
Why do 80% of the people in here post that have never done a challenge, but want to sit here and contribute and talk about challenges, but never have attempted one. Psycho, myself, and yourself have done them, as well as oregon, not too many others have.
