Eh, anything can stop you up. And it doesn't really last long.
You just fart a lot for the first day.

Crazy cool that you guys have a competitive eating thread!!
So I did a challenge at a restaurant called scuttlebutts in Corpus Christi. The challenge was to eat 10 ghost pepper wings.
So I did the challenge just fine. My mouth has no trouble with hot stuff. All the staff was amazed at how easily I did it. However....
10 minutes after the challenge, all that hot sauce really started getting to my stomach. I ended up being in agonizing pain for about 2 hours; then I threw it all up. It was so hot that I actually peed fire. My pee legit burned like crazy.
How do you guys do spicy-food challenges without puking afterwards? Do ya'll just have iron stomachs??
Milk.
Milk.
This or really anything high in fat and easy to get down (I.e. WHOLE milk).
Capsaicin is fat soluble. I saw one guy drink olive oil before challenges to coat his stomach.
All that said I can't do spicy challenges anymore because I burned out my stomach on spicy food. Even a jalapeno pepper will upset me now.
Yeah, spicy challenges blow.
Legit will never even try any of the worlds hottest peppers; habernero is about my limit, enough to be spicy but not wreck my mouth.
eat a banana before eating something hot... coats your mouth.
side note they arent as hot as you would think for the most part you hit a certain point of heat to be honest. I had a garden of stupid hots like ghosts/naga's/scotch bonnets/chinese reds.

This is what I have found. There's definitely a top level of spice that your mouth can feel. It basically plateaus out.
Your butthole, peehole and stomach will be more affected than your mouth as the spice level increases
lol, I'll let you gentleman stick to the spicy challenges :)
Now, to build the VERMOUNTAIN!

I love pistachio myself... especially when there's tons of actual pistachios mixed in.. that's my only issue with most brands: they don't include enough whole nuts in the product.

12,000 CALORIE CHALLENGE

So I've been quiet for awhile when it comes to food challenges due to my mini cut, so I had to think of a way to do a big one without the weight/fat gain. Decided I'd do a huge 12,000 calorie cheat day but burn all the calories in the same day too. Calling it the real Michael Phelps challenge because I haven't seen one where burning the calories was part of the video.
Anyhow, I put a lot of work into this one the day of AND editing the video so check it out if you got a bit ;). I'm just a fat powerlifter not used to doing all this moving around lol.
A man's gotta make money...
Just watched the vid, came up on my recommended list; all one style of sandwich? Man, need variety, but props for not just going minimal and instead keeping the veggies.

To be fair I was at one of the WalMart Subways and I was afraid of throwing in too much variety.
Filming the next challenge tonight!

$20 DOMINO'S DINNER BOX CHALLENGE
This one was way bigger than I expected it to be. Didn't look up any calories/weight before picking it up. More of a spontaneous decision to do this challenge. I've come to realize how painful bready challenges can become towards the end.

-2 medium pizzas (1 pepperoni, 1 chicken / garlic white sauce)
-16 parm balls
-8 cinnastix
-1 2L diet coke
