Think it was in a doc. on competitive eaters that I saw this but smaller/skinnier people have the advantage due to less fat over the stomach to impede it expanding. That's why most top eaters are not obese, think Kobayashi, and Stonie for great examples of that.
The Video

Still finalizing all of the final stuff. But I felt like I get most of point across in the video. After my 40+ lb cut, and with my cardiovascular ability being the best it's ever been, the idea finally came to me.. "What would happen if I went a whole month eating whatever..whenever?". For the most part, I already do this but also keep in mind that I ALWAYS have believed in getting necessary micro-nutrients as well. The idea of "self-experimentation" has always been appealing to me.. This will be my very first one. I'll be monitoring/posting videos and documenting..

(All video logs.. done weekly or daily)
- Food Porn/Food Challenges
- Mood Changes
- Training Videos
- Cycling Performance (increase or decrease)
- Weight Gain/Loss
- General stuff

Really excited to see where this brings me. A lot more I can say and WILL say on the basis of why I'm doing this little "experiment", but I'll finish up with that later. Time to go to work!
STAY TUNED!
Introducing - THE MONTH OF UNLIMITED MACROS!
Wont lie, did this when I was 20 or 21 after losing all of my weight from my teen years, did the whole 'Fck Yeah! Bulking Time!' thing for about a month and a half. Ate half a jar of PB almost daily, M&Ms and donuts, cookies, ice cream... I just railed food non-stop.
Felt sick most day and just gained about 30 pounds of fat. Would not recommend.

Look at what you were eating so much of every day though! What I think he meant is that he isn't going to track, but still eat good filling foods. Yeah he will have his sweets, etc. but I think the main take home is that if he is hungry at 2 in the afternoon and is out and about, instead of tracking and following his guidelines, he may say f*ck it and snag a burger. I like this idea and am interested in to how this "test" goes for the month!

That was my main breakfast, then maybe snag a few handfuls of trail mix on the way out to work...
Learned a lot if nothing else, like eggs and ham are great with melted PB.

Isn't this month of unlimited macros sort of what everyone who isn't in the fitness community does every day?
I really don't understand the difference between what Erik is doing this month versus the previous months... I thought he YOLO bulked to 210 for a year and a half right?

Hmm, I'd disagree with the first statement.
I'm a bit curious why you're asking this question though? Seeing as you asked literally the same thing in my log, to which I answered already.

haha at people think that the mrs refreno's ghost pepper salsa/nacho cheese is hot heck the #1 ingredient in those isn't ghost peppers....the scotch bonnet stuff could be mildly hot but..I just lol'd
now if they made salsa out of the stuff I pulled out of my garden, then I would have respect for them.

Anything hotter than Habernero just doesn't do it for me honestly; I like spicy to add to, not become, the flavor of the dish I am having.

I don't understand comments like these. The term "challenge" can apply to so many different things. Speed, Volume, Heat, Food Type, etc. Just because YOU don't see it as a "challenge", that doesn't necessarily mean that others do not.

they have a qualifyer in Cali bro, thats the one Stonie does every year too.
only person that does not have to qualify is Chestnut
They have one in pittsburgh, Boston, Cali, Texas all over the US for others to qualify, thats why there is all these weird people from all over the US on the national stage for the hot dogs from all the qualifyers and the winners.
one will be in your backyard
Watch
hates hot dogs crew too, but hey.. if you can win that qualifyer you will be up there with Stonie.

Blows my mind even more that they managed to mess up "Strawberry". (If they do that on the actual promotional posters for the festival, people are going to go nuts looking for some new fruit.)
I'd go for the qualifier if there's one by you, although if you don't really enjoy hot dogs now, you probably won't after that...

Will be anxiously awaiting, lol.
