Give it a rest. The guy attempted a sandwich. Cool.
Seriously, though, why do you get on everyone's case when you're the one who's crossposting all of your endeavors in countless threads to gather Youtube likes and rep points here? And now you're patronizing the dude that tried, but failed the rice challenge you defeated ("pretty surprised at how much of a dent he put in it"), and "getting bored" with the discussion about others that have won particular challenges. You need to get a grip.

Seriously, though, put on your reading glasses Champ. You COMPLETELY missed the point of my post, had absolutely nothing to do with "dumbing down" the guy's achievement and was regarding the absolutely pointless argument/bantering about the usage of the word "tackle". Get over yourself.
And patronizing someone that actually had the balls to attempt a food challenge? Sounds like you need to pull your head out of your angus.
Given your post history and from what I've observed, a food challenge or two wouldn't kill you.

If you weren't patronizing him, then why exactly were you surprised at how much of a dent he put into it? Given that you beat the challenge, why should he have done any worse? Google the word "patronize". One of the definitions that pop up is "treat with an apparent kindness that betrays a feeling of superiority", i.e. "Good job, Corky, I beat the challenge, but of course that can't be the standard everyone is set against". Oh, and not to mention outright laughing at psychodiver's failure at some food challenge.

Maybe because I was IMPRESSED with someone actually.... partaking in a food challenge that is rarely attempted? I hope for your sake that you're not this vain, condescending and negative in your day to day life. If you're able to open up your mind and really read one of my posts, then you'll realize that I NEVER talk down on or "patronize" (as you choose to describe it) any individual, unless it's been warranted. It's quite humorous to think that this idea of "superiority" can stem from a simple internet post (or a few for that matter) and get to you as much as it's seems to have done.
Grow up.

Challenge accepted!
Erik its comical how hostile and attacking you become when calledout. You've been correctly called patronizing in other threads as well. I truly hope you get back in therapy soon
hummmm doing it in the one in my area....mighty tempting to try...just wander what that would do to me considering I honestly cant remember the last time I had a real beef hamburger.
Go for it. Do you avoid red meat for some reason or is that just kind of how it works out for you?
not sure if you are american....
ouch man that's just cold... love my country would die for my country, wouldn't think twice about it either.
Challenge accepted!
why not order 2, make it a real challenge. I could honestly see you ordering another burger or going out for a sundae afterwards.

I dont actively avoid red meat, I just had to go think hard about it and last time I had red meat was about 3 months ago and that was only because I saw elk on the menu and was like oh droooooool something I've never tried before. honestly though just kind of works out like that I eat mostly fish and chicken/turkey (breast only)

Never have been "called patronizing" (strong grammar) in any other thread, ever. It still baffles me that you post not just in this thread, but on these boards. You (and various others) seem to think that I actually care about your opinion(s), despite how far-fetched and stupid they are.
I truly hope you get therapy soon.

Great idea! I'll be contacting the manager and most likely will do two of em. (hopefully will work something out to get them free if completed, because paying 40$+ is ridiculous.

srsly tempted to attempt this, would be in 100% if it didn't cost $20 (though I realize you "win" two free meals, so it's roughly an equivalent investment). To be fair, it would cost around $15 for just the beef if you made this at home, so it's not a bad deal. And an hour is a ridiculously generous amount of time. Also assuming it's 3lbs raw weight? That makes a big difference, ends up only being about 2.25lbs cooked.
also def doesn't fit my macros hahaha... you're looking at approx. 6,200 kcal, with just over 500g carb. Disappointed that FR doesn't list fat/protein content on their nutrition stats.

fully aware, haha.
also appears that the last few years it was a 5lb burger challenge for the same price. articles from 2012 state no one has ever finished it. maybe they had to scale back because no one could handle it. or maybe just food cost.

Doubtful. With the amount of locations they have across the U.S, a 5lb burger would've been completed. It was likely discontinued because of the cost of it.

MIND = BLOWN
I sent in my application today for this "game show for eating challenges". Was told to be expecting a call within the next 1-2 weeks. I got one in less than an hour, lmao. Right in the middle of my ride, but it was all good. I was set up with an interview with the casting director for the show, and he was seriously the NICEST guy ever. We talked over skype, and he asked me a bunch of questions. I wish I could talk more about the show, but I don't want to reveal too much, all I can say is...
expect BIG things in 2015!

Supposed to do a pizza challenge with my buddy tomorrow (would be my first 2 person challenge). 30 inches of cheese.
But am doing fudds next week, so I'm thinking I'll just say screw it and wait...
Randy does it, win #200.
Those hoagies look delicious, damn. And it seems he pretty much averaged a win a week to get to those 200, clearly loading up on them on his latest tour.
How about almost a win a day... ^^^^
How about almost a win a day... ^^^^
That's what I was thinking, can't be feeling too good; even doing an IF style thing I'd imagine he would be feeling completely stuffed all the time.

Shouldn't they be going hand-in-hand? I would think so.
If it's a 30-inch cheese-only pizza....nah. At least, it's not for me (as much as I love cheese pizza and loved it when I was growing up...)

Congrats to Randy on #200!

I would wait for the fudds because that is gong to be another EASY win for you! The pizza challenge will be around long after the fudds, plus I would wait to make sure your buddy is good and ready to go to keep you streak in tact ;)
