This is just pure awesome! I would have had this autographed and framed on my wall with all my shirts and pictures of past challenges won wearing myfamous blue furiouspete.com t shirt. Yoy guys talk shop at all? Fitness or food alike?
Challenge 23 of 25 last night at Hob Nob Hill in Bankers Hill, San Diego, CA. Been there since 1944!
Grand Slam Challenge....identical to the one famously held at Batter Up Pancakes in Fresno, CA where its had over 500 takers (over 100 have finished to date I read online)
Of the past 6 challenges (and last 2 I have left) this may be the least bad/unhealthy one of them all come to think of it!
1.5lb pancake
1lb of mixed veggies (choose 4) I did onion, pepper, mushroom, spinach
1lb diced potatoes
10 scrambled eggs
0.5lb shredded cheddar cheese

Finished in 16:15 and that's using a fork and knife the whole time to! Even sipped down 2 cups decafe coffee as my beverage of choice (puts the pancake down way easier!)
23 Eatfeats down, just 2 more to go baby! Tomorrow night is "The Super Stacked Challenge" at STACKED - 'Food Well Built' in Mission Valley, CA. Then Fuddruckers has their national all day "Fat Tuesday Challenge" in Fenton Parkway, CA
Veggies on top of pancakes sounds disgusting

Oh yeah we always talk, i tried to get to him early before the expo started before the madness cause when the doors open its hard to talk to people who try to work a booth at the same time running through people
Just catching up on life, his girl, what he is doing in the future etc..

I would have to agree.
For those in the Philly area the PYT thunderdome challenge (At PYT http://pytphilly.com/) is no longer (currently listed on eat feats.)
Instead, they now do how many bacon wrapped burgers you can do. Here's a little bit of food pr0n to get an idea for you.

OK now I am contemplating making a channel to do fun random challenges at home.
Few issues;
- I don't have video editing software or knowledge behind that (guess I'd have to learn)
- Thinking of ideas
- Thinking of ways to get viewers
I watched that guy do 75 Reese's cups the other day (to beat the 60 by LA Beast). I want to do 80+ I think, I know I can lol.
What happened to your cut?
He fits them into his macros. Dude does like 4 hours of running/day.
Challenge 24 of 25 went down with out issue tonight. STACKED - Food Well Built in Fashion Valley Mall has the following challenge if you ask for it at least 24 hours ahead of time.
The STACKED Super Tower Challenge
3lb burger (total weight)
1lb steak cut sweet fries
30 minutes time limit
burger consists of:
beef patty
turkey patty
pulled pork (w/ or w/o bbq sauce)
cole slaw
grilled shrooms, onions, red peppers
green leaf lettuce
pretzel bun
fried egg
maple bacon
Tallest burger by far I have ever done but not the biggest or heaviest......Nicky Rottens still has the biggest in town I know of (5lb total weight for them)
Finished in 12:43 keeping a steady but typical pace for me....nothing crazy. I LOVE sweet tater fries so those went down like candy after the burger was down. I rarely ever use condiments of any kind unless the flavor gets old or boring and I need them. Saves time I feel.

heck most camera phones do a pretty darn good job anymore of taking/recording video. if anything to windows movie maker and a 100$ camera from bestbuy will get you rolling.
why not part of your challenge do like a joe park thing....a ICU (I challenge you) type thing get the people on the BBforums to join in.
viewers come with time and content.

Oh but there was! Classic WF came out after the burger was down. I do handfuls of sweet fries and a "shot" of the WF with each bite to get it down easier. The bottle is off camera but its there all right. Always is when pancakes or sweet fries are in the mix!

3lb turkey burger, 1.5lh house made bun (like a huge biscuit in flavor and texture) topped with LTO and pickles + 1lb sweet fries

34:00 later all gone!
That's eating challenge 25 done and over!
Some stats:
From April 14th-March 4th (43 weeks) I completed the 25 challenges
9 of them were burger themed
2 were philly cheesesteak themed
8 were breakfast themed
see attachment for others...
all but 3 were not officially promoted or advertised challenges when taken..... but are now!
all of them were within the confines of San Diego County
all had at least a 30 minute or longer time limit
i never once puked during or after a single event
the 1 loss i had (challenge 1 i quit at 33:00) was redeemed in challenge 14 (beat it in 21:15)
i only used condiments (sauces, butter, syrup etc) 4 times and it was always WF when I did
i never once fasted all day to prep for a challenge
i never "trained" to prep for a challenge, i "pre-gamed" to take on from Randy Santel and his book of tricks
my longest streak of straight days doing challenges was 4 in both May last year and this final run in March.
Need to consider traveling over 30 miles or more to find the next listed feats from eatfeats.com to do more in the area. Even then its going to be August 1st or after when I make a return as I have 2 powerlifting meets to make the 198 class for inbetween 3 months at sea over the next 4 months......wont leave much time for big eats like lately sadly!
Boy was it fun and tasty while it lasted!

!
What's the difference?
Meaning I do not do anything major during the week or the day before, day of or after like some of the pros do to prep for major challenges. All I do is:
Night before.....3(2lb) heads of lettuce chopped up in a huge bowl......(the rest i do every night anyway) greek yogo and cottage cheese and consume in 30 minutes.
Day of......3-4 non solid food meals during the day like whey smoothies mixed with almond milk/frozen greens, greek yogo/regular yogo, cottage cheese, apple sauce etc....4 hours later or when hunger hits.....challenge time!

how is this not prep?
how is this not prep?
It is lol
It is lol
lmao
compared to what pros do this is a drop in the bucket. my "pre-game" as randy calls it covers less then 24 hours of time before a challenge.
those like randy, megatoad, damon wells, matt cohen, naader, the bear, all consume 3-4 massive 6-8lb veggie/fruit meals per week to keep stomach capacity at max before any challenges they have coming up. then the night before most go non solid foods and lots of water. then day of pending time of the challenge/contest they go either all water or all protein shakes, fruit, lettuce and and water. may not be identical for them all but to some extent they all employ a tactic like this from what i gained either face to face talks with them or reviews of their youtube videos or blog posts/interview feeds. molly and pete might be the only people who can just show up at on a whim and put down just the same.
no way in hell i would have the time to do all that given my job and lifestyle.
