It can suck finding eating challenges pending where you live yes. I am lucky to have 22 some eating challenges in my area of San Diego. After those 22 are attempted however I to will have to look at making the choice to cap it at that or start making drives of 2+ hours out to go to the other major cities around me that have formal challenges available.
Worst case is you call up a joint that serves a type or kind of food you like and see if they will allow you to come in and try a custom eating challenge or copy one offered at another venue. Let them know you will film it or take pictures and post it up on youtube or ******** so they get some free PR out of it as well. You may only get a free meal (if you win it) but do not be expecting to get anything free or a prize for custom challenges, it all depends on the venue and management.
Good luck bro and I hope you find something closer then 6 freaking hours drive! Thats much too far for any challenge in my book. Gas $$ would be rediculous for what....full belly, t shirt and picture on a wall?

does anyone use the protein fluff recipe (from cumminslifter <---see i dont forget lol) to prep for eating challenges? seems like that stuff just has expanded out my stomach so much

Nope
Hello nutrition brahs, I beat the old record of that burger challenge did 4 of them, some guy doing it the same time as me did 4 and a half though so I'm #2 on the wall. Still can honestly say I gave it my all.
To anyone around California SF/Livermore area, I recently saw an ice cream sandwich challenge in a local store which looks real interesting.
It's a 48oz Ice Cream Sandwich in 48 minutes challenge...finish it under the time limit and it's free. Seems really doable for the people around here, and tasty at that.
If anyone wants more info I can pull out the exact address of the place.

Man, I could crush that no problem. And dat free ice cream prize...
Too bad I'm nowhere near it. I'd like to do a Vermonster at some point though. Anyone tried? The only thing stopping me is that my local BnJ's Scoop Shop is only open M-F 9-5...during which I work. I'd have to go on an odd day off or something and drive down to the city.
ya that much dairy would suck
are you sure about that that thing looks massive
Yep, pretty sure. I've got no issues with dairy and the only thing that would even be a hiccup for me would be my occasional tooth sensitivity. That would be a non-issue after the first few bites though. It even sounds like you can customize the sundae just a wee bit according to the website, which just makes it that much better.

Nope not that challenge!
No online info on the challenge, but the address is 2490 First Street, Livermore, CA 94550. It's a small little ice cream shop right next to the livermore 13 cinema, there is a poster of the challenge on the wall inside the shop!

I know a girl who has tried it 9 times and failed every single time. True Story. Feel bad for her she has come damn close many times too. Its not as easy at it looks. you will be having a brain freeze for about a day. I remember when a guy on here who use to post (Xquick) did the Vermonster after his bodybuilding show and said he felt cold for a day

Lol at saying AT couldn't do it because a girl failed 9 times
My first challenge happens Sunday after my first meet!

Do you even English?
Go try it yourself and then get back to me, I can bet it will take you by surprise hence the turnover of why so many fail.
wow that would be incredibly hard^ so much dough
Now that one would be tricky. I can crush some serious Cinnabon, but 11 pounds is pretty crazy. I also have no idea what the quality of that cinnamon roll is, which is another thing. Cinnabons are gooey and moist, but I've had plenty of cinnamon rolls that are overly dry without the icing. A dry 11 pound roll would be torture.

Do you even logic? I never said I could but you are comparing Always, who is a freak, to some chick. How does it make sense that he couldn't do it because she failed multiple times. He's eaten a bunch of **** most people cant
Adam Richman isn't a good litmus test for a food challenge's difficulty. He's not that big of an eater.

I never stated always could not
Please find in my post where I stated that "always you won't complete the contest"
Strong assumption from Someone who has never did an eating contest of knowing the general population who tried the kitchen sink fail. It's not uncommon to see people fail at it. Jessica's continuous attempts was an example.

Absolutely agreed. He's punked out on a few challenges that were really weaksauce.
do you even English?
*Or (Iphone AutoCorrect).
Funny how you come in here when a comment is not based towards you or Always Trying and try to stir the pot with a dumbass assumption. Must come with that old age :)

It's ok I know you weren't stating I couldn't. I feel sorry for her, she's determined as anything
I know I could do it as I've done over 5L of ice cream many a time including after other food challenges I've posted on here.
No brain freeze
No satiety hormone signals

Definitely not, but it is a good guide for challenges everyone can view worldwide.
That's why I ensured I did some from the show as well as others not on there, so people I worked with could view what I did (like they wanted). They like creating challenges for me lol (as well as friends creating them)

Shes done some impressive challenges including a tag team 30" Pizza, and some other burger ones (which she is much better at) , just a general example that the majority who would try it would fail and misreably. Just like if someone randomly did a vermonster.
Your hunger = Endless Pit, You need to take advantage of a buffet and see how many plates you can throw down.

I've done too many buffets. Been ask to leave once (extremely expensive posh hotel)
My endless pit is only from a lack of satiety signals. If only I could not gain weight :(

at least you got your money worth :)
Well I did my one and only challenge today. It's just not for me. It was a two lb burger, cheese, bacon, toppings, onion straws, and massive side of fries. Only got abou 2/3 done. Way more than it looked and sounded. The amount of butter on the bun really got to me. No vid because the camera died at my meet but got some pics later

Brb...occasionally only slows down when it hurts crew.
i think i found one up my alley
The rules are as follows:
1) Your time limit is 20 minutes
2) You must devour 1lb of fish, 2lbs of chips. 2 sides of tartar sauce, 8oz of mushy peas & a can of coke/diet
3) No vomiting
4) No sharing (obviously)
seems easy

Fish, peas, and tartar will be cake. Chips shouldn't be too bad, but don't underestimate them, especially when combined with the Coke. Post pics (hopefully victorious ones) if you do it.
