I definitely agree with y'all and aren't arguing for the counter, shoot y'all have done way more challenges than me.. You are right though, because they were a couple of guys 350+ pounds who didn't even place haha!
@ Determined: Yes he is getting heavier.. They were showing videos/pics of him throughout his 8 year stretch and he was much smaller back in the day.. He is definitely slowly adding some pounds
@ Bob: You are right though, Stonie lost it at the end and if he can work on the finish I think he can eventually win it.. Although Chestnut is very very good! Also, did you see Miki Sudo won the girl's competition taking down 3-time champ Sonya Thomas? Miki is beast modin!!
Did not surprise me miki won

It still doesn't surprise me that some people (well most people actually) make the assumption that one has to be 350 lbs to be able to be a competitive eater. Especially with how popular the "sport" is becoming, you can just do a simple youtube search and there are 14 year old kids that weigh just over a buck 15, soaking wet. Stomach capacity really has little to no co-relation to actual body size. Realizing this only makes me wish I would've started doing eating challenges 2 years ago when I was at my lowest weight, lmao. Would've made my "bulk" a bit more interesting.
Looking forward to seeing stonie take the title next year.

She was talking a big game too, both pre and post contest.. She definitely backed it up though!

I can agree with the above statement.. Shoot I am really skinny for my height and sometimes I just can't stop eating, but other times I fill up real quick so it really just depends on my appetite that day!
Also, I don't know about Stonie taking him down soon.. Chestnut is solid! Will be interesting the next couple of years nonetheless

^ Link to documentary? Didn't even know there was one surrounding competitive eating. (other than furious petes video)

not many people do 10 pounds of nutella. I am sure it was a popular request and just living up to what his fans want.

Another Stonie challenge, think his latest videos have been a lot better and more fun to watch than Pete's.

This is unbelievable!!! So this brings up a random question for me.. Does it count if they just stuff it in their mouth (that's what she said :)) right before time runs out then they get credit? Is that the general rule?

have you ever watched a live event before? He has a ton of them on his youtube channel
As long as you get it in before the timer is up.

Definitely agree. Pete has become pretty boring lately, he's more into vlogging now from what I've seen.
Which is cool

Tommorow I am going to eat a 1.2kg burger and I will try to do it in a fast time, I will not just try to finish it. The burger will be just one huge piece of meat covered by two buns. It is going to be wide as fu and pretty high. I want to dunk the burger in water but it's just one big chunk of meat and buns, so my queation is how should i cut it? I thought of 4 pizza like slices but it seems pretty uncomfortable to eat... so anybody has some ideas? Or even better, a proven technique?

Personally I would start with the bun and work my way through the starches first, but 1.2kg is nothing. Just eat it like normal.

This....
Always attack the meat first, as most people do.
This. Literally never heard anyone suggest doing all the carba first it will bloat you
Erm. No, some people can handle starches completely fine. If that's the case, you get them down first.

Um carbs retain water and fill you up faster pro doesn't. Find one professional eater that suggests eating all the carbs first.

This isn't professional eating, it's is a 1.2kg burger.

Ice Cream Anyone
Moo Time Creamery (www.nadolife.com/mootime/loc-coronado.html) in Coronado, CA just emailed me today to ask if I would want to do a 15 scoop ice cream challenge with topings in 30 minutes as part of a promotional end of summer shabang type PR deal. Sadly they want me to do it just 1 week (2 days to pick from) after we get back from 2 months at sea where I will be neck deep in moving not only my work space off the carrier and onto a new barge space but also out of my apartment and into a new one. I do not know where I will find the time to prep, partake and recover from this with work, 2 moves and training as normal going on during that week. I have never done an ice cream challenge before and would love to try one to! Here I have one right in front of me and wont likely be able to take it on......DAMN!!
