You're one to talk:

are you f***ing kidding me? all that shows is how much he worked his ass off while you ate chip crumbs out of your belly button. you post this pic like its supposed to embarrass him? and you're telling other people to grow up? without knowing s**t you give horrible advice and anyone trying to correct you is retarted. you failed. shut up, listen, and learn from the mass amount of experience everyone here has. you might get somewhere someday, but you ain't the authority right now.
this is 8, not 10 :O!
I agree but, is it just me or does anyone getting horny when you hear hot girls at the gym panting? I usually start flirting with them and engage quite hard. Its fun to workout and pick up at the same time.
I can't believe people are complaining about people in the gym talking or droping weights or w/e it might be. If it was SOOOOO BAD build a home gym problem solved this way you dont have to hear anyone can drop or not weights. You can waste as much time you want. Whats the big deal if someone drops the weight just because 90 isn't heavy to someone don't mean its not for the other guy ****. Even if it was 15 and its was heavy and he drops it at the end of his rep as long as hes not hurting anyone big deal. I still a set to do and they take long work in-between sets when hes done a set go do a set and if hes still chatting or dancing to the gym music do another set and move on.
As for lowering DBs after bench. I use DBs from 40-50kgs (100-120 pounds) depending on my intended rep range for that workout, and i have never needed to drop weights. You do not need to twist your arms at all.
When you have finished your set, you hold the dumbelss to your chest, and sit up until they are resting on your knees it becomes a simple matter to the either stand up with the dumbells or lower them to the ground. If you are too weak to do this something is seriously wrong. Maybe your are training wrong?????????????
Yeah thats how i get up and lower the weights, in my humble opinion anyone dropping weights is just saying " look at me, look at me "
oh god.
To the original article:
I joined this forum to get advice. I have never posted, but now i will to let you know this is the dumbest advice i have ever read. Sorry. You are obviously the n00b.
Whats the story on doing squats in a smith? Is this wrong? I on occasion use a smith for variety when squatting - should I substitute this?
To everyone complaining about the girl on the smith rack. Her form is fine because she isn't doing a standard squat, she is doing a squat with a front stance and it looks fine. A weight belt is simply there for support and she is clearly not relying on it. Should she have on a shirt, sure, but otherwise, she is doing a fine job. Good for you girl, whoever you are.
i make it 10 if you count those 2 in the photo
this thread has gone beyond retarded - and why the mods haven't shut it is beyond me.
anyway - the only mistakes I see people make are:
1. worrying about what others are doing and not focusing on their own workout
2. arguing with other people on the internet for no good reason over an article
3. generally being a total arse
if you avoid these three issues, your garunteed to have more success than the guys who argue like hell and ask others "what is your secret?"
OP has 100000000 rep, how do ya'll expect him to react? ofc he is going to get offended and *hurt* when ya'll make fun of him and his post(probably took 2 hrs to make).
Yo OP where did you get your rep from? the misc section? Those miscers negged the **** out of me.... LOL
This thread is now way off topic and stupid.
Who cares what every other ****tard does at the gym?
Go ahead, do your quarter squats (or don't do legs), use bad form, do too many reps... I don't give 2 ****s. It's your body, not mine. Your gym membership money being wasted, not mine.

Exactly this.
If they're not directly impeding your own progress then who cares?
I just wasted ten minutes of my life that I am not going to every get back, for looking for something useful to take away from this thread. Everyone is on this site for one main reason... To better ourselves and to share the progress we have made thus far. In the ten minutes i was wasting reading this I've seen a number of people that have great stats and and have been in this game for a while but instead of sharing there wisdom they attacked the creator of this thread... Being a leader i tend to not like letting people go down the wrong path... So if I thought the info this guy was putting out was wrong or miss leading in any way, I would just add my two cents too... That when when the next person who came to the thread looking for helpful info to get started or help take there training to the next level, They get something to take away from reading all the post. Not a thread full of people going back and forth about who is right and who is wrong. Everyone here is grown.... I think we can respect each other and help the less knowledgeable people out.
