I generally don't need music to get me through a workout. Pre-workout though, I like to listen to Avenged Sevenfold :)

Infected Mushroom - Cities of the Future
For me it has to be drum and bass, rap or metal. I just find other music too slow and not heavy enough.
Metalcore I regard the best music to train to, its fast, thrash, and generally full throttle.
If anyone wants a sick playlist try this playlist I made on Spotify-
The Ultimate Metalcore/hardcore punk workout
It’s full of bands like Betraying the Martyrs, August Burns Red, Trivium, Hatebreed and Ice Nine Kills
The Siege - I Am Defiant
Fight The Fade - Edge of Desire
No Resolve - Get Me Out
Evanescence - Bring Me To Life (Rad!cal Jaay & Nic Spiteri Bootleg)
Highway Saints - As The World Falls Down
Echoes The Fall - Your Move
Eminem - Till I Collapse (Who hasn't drained this song out at the gym though?)
Dorje - Catalyst
Southpaw - Beast
Soldier's Life - Dangerous
Next September - Your Time to Shine
Usually what they have at the gym is pretty good and upbeat for me, anything from tiesto, calvin harris ,romain curti

Lucky you, the day I heard The Sound of Silence at the gym was the day I decided to never go without headphones.
Nice Collection
Nice collections on thread. Mine are something on beat will do.
Get Up by 50 cent. The best song for workouts. Also a pretty motivational song as well. One of those get tough songs.
^^^ How about one of those "go bat sh*t crazy" songs....Face the Pain....by Stemm!! Works like a charm...
In the gym i don't know why but synthwave/retrowave pumps me up. Also Hans Zimmer - The Dark Knight OST - A Dark Knight" works pretty well when i'm felling down.

Born Slippy by Underworld. Quite oldschool but if you know Trainspotting you'll get the drive and it's 9:45 minutes
Anything that is upbeat will keep me going.
I'll just throw a quick sample of my playlist in here:
Forward! - Anaal Nathrakh
Jonestown - The Acacia Strain
Confined - As I Lay Dying
The Final Request - Bloodbather
Infernal Cleansing - Hollow Prophet
Backbreaker - Fit for a King
Metal is life <3

I mean it’s not really music but I quite like listening to podcasts. I feel like they take my mind away from the pain and strain and distract me - it’s like watching TV!
I always have listened metal or somekind of rap as motivation music.
I am very motivated by the results that I get after hard training.
"Shera Di Kaum", Speedy Singhs.
