Nothing humble about that; it's an awesome set up.
+ 1 clean layout.
Home gym = best gym
+ 1 all the equipment to yourself.
Awesome set up.
Agree, great setup.
I think it should be noted that these are very nice plates. Ironically, these are from the Chinese foundry and not the Canadian foundry. The machining and paint looks really nice!
I have similar formed ones to these with bodypower on them instead of york, they are nice because they fit flush on the bars, have you used tri grip ones and how do you find they compare?
Nice gym !

Long time lurker. Been building my home gym over the last 9 months. This is where she stands as of today.

Just picked up the all matching VTX plates ($.60/lb) ,extra set of muscle clamps ($5), bumper rack ($40) , bar holder ($25) , Legend bench ($200) yesterday to complement the Fat Bar Power station and platform. I enjoy deadlifting much more with matching plates. Still in the market for a set of bumpers for the wife to use in the summer time, reverse hyper, belt squat, sissy squat and a multitude of bars. Also some sort of cardio equipment, currently jump roping to get warm and loose. I enjoy surfing this forum daily for suggestions and pictures!
How do you find the leg press / hack squat combo machine.
paul2k14, instead of replying to each post individually, you can quote multiple posts and reply to them all using the button right beside the [Reply""] button, which is the multi-quote button. When you click it, it'll turn green, and the next time you hit the [Reply""] button it'll quote everything for you in the Quick Reply field.

Picked that up on ******** marketplace for $100 bucks. Guy was moving and cleaning out his basement, hardly used. Old one made by Parabody.

10 x10 Dollamur Flexiroll mats (not shown)
And the required black gym flag
In the process of making an upgraded tricep pulley. Larger stainless pulleys, coated cables, rack shackle, steel loading pin, stainless swivels. Have a detailed parts list if anybody wants it

Looks like you use it, too. :)
You can tell by the dirt everywhere, not by the muscles.

Embedded pics for you. Nice - even if I have to turn my head sideways ;)
My wife is a pilates instructor who wanted a small gym in the basement so she could workout and maybe bring clients there. I made a video of the build but after watching it... I think I need it more than her.
check out "I built my wife a simple little gym" on youtube.
