Well.. not everyones. What I mean is that you get people with abs that look like bubbles, other people have firm abs and look neat, others have abs that seem to be in a weird shape.

Individual genetics. We are all unique snowflakes. Enjoy the differences. Stay interesting, my friend....
I can't believe you just asked that....
Did you ever see the movie Alien? The real reason, and you won't hear this from anyone else, is that everyone has a little alien living in their belly just waiting to poke its little head out. The differences in abdominal appearance has to do with the contours of the little alien's head. Some are flatter, while others are more bumpy. Remember, THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!!!
genetics is everything

Good general info on abs. Reason for differences among people are basically as others have posted-everybody's different.
Genes aren't everything, but do determine stuff like attachment points, the spacing of the tendons, that determine appearance.
*wishes people would drop the damn -tic*
I would think it's a combo of genetics and use in daily activity for decades.
Genetics, BF%, Core exercises used, R/L prefrences, etc..
that question is similar to this question:
Why does everyone have a different face.
Well everyone is made differently, be proud of who you are
